I will give this a 10⭐️ as May went above and beyond. She is fantastic. The location of the hotel is so accessible to transport. The cleanliness of the hotel. But most of all May made are visit a wonderful one. Will definitely visit again.

Stayed here couple of times and enjoyed every minute of time here, spent Friday 10 June and 11 June 2022 and was well looked after by Helen, thank you so much for caring Helen, hotel is reasonably cheap,clean and very comfortable, entertainment close by .....will definitely be back with friends soon .check it out guys you wont be disappointed !!!!

It was amazing to stay here yes it was cheap and cheerful and you only got limited breakfast but for the price it was decent ,Helen the owner lost her partner only took on this from OCT 2021 and is an amazing host of the hotel she was welcoming and friendly . The room I had had own sink and shower and loo which was amazing that I didn't have to share and it close to bus and tram routes Deffo to return sometime

Lovely single owner guest house /hotel

Had a few nights away with my friend in this fabulous hotel, Helen was an amazing host, couldn’t have ask for anything better, great size room comfortable bed, definitely be back soon but for a little longer xxx

Checked into our room,which was clean and a perfect size.
Helen could not have been more helpful and wonderful throughout the stay, feel like we made a friend for life. Celebrated new years eve together and shared some lovely stories. Gem of a place to stay

NYE stay

Had a fantastic stay here with my family on NYE 2021... was so good in fact that we ended up in the bar all night with Helen singing karaoke, playing darts, auld lang syne the lot! haha... very comfortable nights kip as well, lovely lovely woman.. see you you soon helen take care and enjoy the break x

NYE!!

Absolutely superb service. Helen went above and beyond and helped make my birthday weekend amazing. We will definitely return again whenever we are heading in this direction. Local to a lot of attractions, very close to shops and beach. Will definitely recommend!

Fantastic place to stay

Stayed here for 6 days with my mum and Helen the owner was amazing, nothing was too much trouble for her, she went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Continental breakfast was lovely with a lot to choose from, Will definitely return. Thank you mrs your a star x

Holiday with my mum

Helen, one of the new owners, looked after us during our 4 day stay.  She was so helpful and lovely, we'd go back in a heart beat.  She spotted that we had some birthday presents with us, as our daughter turned 6 while we were there, and on the morning of the birthday made a big fuss of our daughter, even getting her a card and a present.

We had two rooms, both of which were just right, with a good combination of furniture and space.  Everything worked as it should, including the free wi-fi.  The tram stop was a short walk away.  Continental breakfast was just right for us, easy to get what we wanted and nice and quick.

Proprietors were lovely and were prepared to go above and beyond for their guests.
Guest house very clean and in a good state of repair. Room was a little chilly in the evenings only, radiators didn't work but fan heater provided if needed
Covid-secure measures in place.
Breakfast simple but adequate - proprietors happy for guests to order in takeaway food to eat in dining room for other meals.
Effective free WiFi.
Plenty of on street parking nearby so lack of designated parking not a problem.
30 minute walk to town would be lovely in the summer but less than ideal in the winter months - tram is a 3 minute walk from hotel, but still far enough to get very soggy in wet weather - come prepared!
