Stayed at maples Hotel Blackpool fasle advertisement get there completely different from pictures. Avoid all costs wasted your money dark ditchy and run down please don't make the mistake I did read the reviews some if you notice are quite long way from present day

Miss k

Stayed 1 night (thankfully) with 2 teens.
Lucky to get 1 of the 5 parking spaces.
Our room 110, was big enough to sleep 4 and that's the only positive I can give.
Broken beds, 1 of which was unsleepable in the correct way (had to sleep with fetal at pillow end or the blood would of rushed to my head in sleep.
Carpets and ceiling rotten and tatty, toilet and shower..struggled to turn around in and stank of sewage.
Heating on constantly and the 1 broken bed up against it. I did ask if it gets turned off and the lady said its timed...but hasnt hone off and made for an unbearable nights sleep.
Breakfast was an extra £5 on top of the £70 a night...was pityfull. 1 item of bacon,sausage, egg with the white cut off for some reason, 1 tinned tomato and about 10 beans. Stone cold toast and the coffee was transparent.

Wouldnt probably stay here again and I know most hotels are the same up here.
Would suit stags and hens I think.

I'm no prude..I love blackpool and stayd here at least 15 times...these hotels are usually good for getting your head down when on the beer...but most are usually half the price of this 1

A typical blackpool hotel

We stayed her to see the illuminations at Blackpool with my 8 year old son. This hotel is not for families our room was awful, it smelt the TV did not work other than 1 channel,the curtains bearly shut. The sheets and towels were clean that was a blessing or we would have left to find something else. Cheap Stag and hen do hotel at best.

Terrible hotel

We stayed there mid Oct 2019 The staff and views were wonderful. The rooms,food,entertainment and cleanliness were good. They are currently refurbishing so next time we stay it will be even better. 
Good value for money

4 day stay

We travelled as a coach group and had a lovely five day stay at the hotel. The hotel is undergoing a refurb to what looks a high standard. The staff, in particular the receptionist and Manager were first class. The evening entertainment was very good as was the food. Overall we were made extremely welcome and want to say a big thank you to the Manager and staff.

Had a great break at this hotel. Staff where amazing. The hotel is in need of updating which they are in the process of doing. The rooms where very clean and the food was ok.  The entertainment in the evening was good. Beaubeaches right on your doorstep. I'd like to thank the staff for there fabulous hospitality

Great stay!

- Hotel is in a really good location, right opposite the sea and with a tram stop across the street, wtihin walking distance to Coral Island and Tower anyway.

- Rooms weren't great. One room had broken bedroom ceiling tiles with damp, one of the ceiling tiles in the bathroom was also falling down. One room had cracked bathroom mirror. All rooms had stains on the carpet. All bathrooms were quite small and none of the showers had hot water. All rooms were in different parts of the hotel. Hotel offered free parking but all spaces were taken so had to park on adjacent hotel car park. The booking said breakfast available, did not know that only cereal and yoghurt were provided until we arrived.

- Beds were really clean and comfortable.

Thoroughly average stay

Stayed here for my stag weekend.  Ok its not too bad but does need improvements. Member of staff called Adam did the job of 3 people n was a pure gent and made the stay more . Nice wee bar n pool table. Lovely breakfast. Bathrooms are tiny and so is the shower. The hotel does have a large function room downstairs with great potential and told going to do wedding packages. But the rooms do need done up. Some dampness on the walls etc. Has just been bought over so looks like in the future it will be lovely.

Stag weekend

We booked the hotel but weren't told it was being refurbished. Damp room,clothes damp after being in drawers overnight. Water in shower was just about warm. The bed was clean and comfortable but the room was not as the pictures on booking. com. Tiles on the steps outside were broken and loose, unsafe! Even found a slug on the drawers!This has to be the worst hotel we have EVER stayed in.

Worst hotel

We arrived on the 29th of August with a group of 6 and had booked 2 rooms with 3 beds in each, when we got there we were only given 2 rooms in one and went to complain. After this we were given another CONDEMNED ROOM, which was full of toxic mould, ceiling tile was missing in one room, other tiles were damn and covered in mould, our TV wasn’t functioning and needed it’s PAT test 5 years ago!! Worst of all we got in the shower which was at first stone cold and then as it was turned on it became one powerful stream of boiling hot water which left me with a burn which is now peeling. Rooms were horrific and not worth even a quarter of the money we paid!!
