Choosing a hotel to stay in when visiting Blackpool can sometimes turn into a game of roulette so finding a hotel that offers such a great stay as Charnley Gold is a real win.
From the moment you walk in, the owners were friendly and attentive to what you needed from your stay. After a long drive, it puts you at ease knowing you have a warm welcome waiting for you.
The room itself was clean, well decorated and spacious with ample tea and coffee facilities. The beds and bedding were comfy with clean crisp bedding. It is worth noting that if you are coming up for a dance comp let the hotel know in case the fake tan ruins their nice bedding!!!
The bar area was clean, everyone was friendly and chatty and the prices were very reasonable.
It is worth noting that it is really worth talking to the hotel directly to get the best deal available rather than going through a 3rd party booking website.
Location is fantastic for access to the Winter Gardens and the Tower, and there is a sizeable outdoor car park at the top of the road which appeared to be well maintained and reasonably priced.
All in all, we had a great stay at the hotel and would gladly return in the future. Cheers!

Fantastic Blackpool Hotel - Great for Dance Comps!

A good, clean hotel near the tower etc. The owners were very friendly and helpful. An excellent breakfast was provided every morning. Nothing was too much trouble. A very reasonably priced place to stay in Blackpool. 

A Few Days In Blackpool 

Warm friendly hotel. 5 minutes walk to the tower. Very welcoming hosts Tony & Ann. The rooms are extremely clean and comfortable with en-suit facilities. Best breakfast in Blackpool and a reasonably priced bar. Go as a guest and leave as lifelong friend. Ample parking in the car park across the road with reasonable rates for your stay. Within walking distance to all the central amenities and the train station. Not our first visit and definitely won’t be our last.

I stayed in this hotel in August for the air show weekend as a solo traveler for the first time I was quite nervous and didn't know what to expect but as soon as I arrived I was welcomed by martyn and annabella who made me feel at ease and alot less nervous check in was easy and quick I went up to my room and found a lovely clean room with a comfy bed,the breakfast was lovely and hot and you could pick what you wanted which was ideal the bar was open during the day and nite so was ideal if u didn't want to be out all day best hotel I've found in blackpool by far will definitely be staying here again thank u so much annabella and martyn for a lovely stay can't wait to see u guys again and lucky soon xx

Best Hotel in blackpool

Another fantastic stay in a beautiful and clean hotel, beds are comfortable breakfast is fantastic too, Martin and Annabelle and all the staff make you feel really welcome  and right at home, my little boy didn’t want to come home he wanted to stay he enjoyed himself that much and liked Martin a lot, thankyou for a amazing stay as always and we will see you again next year. Ps Aardean misses you a lot Martin, he really took a shine to you and the gorgeous lucky.

Best stay ever

I could recommend this b&b all day long. Absolutely fantastic hosts Martin and Annabelle were! 
So accommodating, very welcoming and would do absolutely anything for you! Even at last minute, they were so helpful. 
Breakfast is spot on, rooms are clean. Anything you needed they had, we all can’t thank both of yous enough for everything you have done. 
We will see you soon!

Brilliant B&B, and even better hosts

I enjoyed an excellent 2 night stay.  I had forgotten my iPhone charger and Martin was kind enough to provide one.  The room was clean and comfortable.  The hotel was a short walk from the train station and the central business district.  The price was also a good value.  Very pleasant hospitality so easy to recommend

Hosts couldn’t do enough for you and Breakfast was amazing.

Room was spacious and clean. Had a wonderful sleep .
Close to the front and Winter Gardens where we saw a great show and on returning to B&B we were slightly wet and cold and again hosts welcomed us back with a nice hot drink x

Great B&B

Great value for money.  Room had everything you need & very clean. Comfortable bed.  Shower great. Lovely warm welcome from a nice couple.  Well equiped bar.  Central to all entertainment so no taxis needed.  Breakfast the best. We had a ball.  Will be back. 

Great Value Hotel

One of the most welcoming hotels I have ever stayed in! Martin and Annabelle went above and beyond to make sure our stay was everything we hoped for! Breakfast was lovely, the rooms were clean and just what we needed! I would very highly recommend the charnley gold hotel to anyone! We already have next year booked and can not wait to visit again!
