Just got back from a long weekend staying at Benson. We had 2 rooms, a double for my parents and a triple for me, my wife and 2 children. £280 all totalled for 2 night stay. The hotel was clean and the rooms were clean and the owners helpful. But I’m really disappointed. I checked the hotel out and all the reviews said it would be a great hotel but not for me. There was no breakfast provided and that in itself it’s not acceptable. We would not stayed if we knew Breakfasy wasn’t included. The bar and drinks area was closed all weekend. The bins wernt emptied and no new towels provided. No refills of tea bags or milk in room.  The rooms are incredibly small, the triple room is the size of a double with a single bed squeezed in, it was impossible to move round the room. No wardrobe for clothes just a chest of draws. The rooms were incredibly inadequate for a family of 4. Feel incredibly let down from staying here and would not stop again. Not having Breakfast included is not acceptable for any self respecting BnB in Blackpool, for that reason alone I would rate the weekend stay as terrible let alone all the other issues.

Family Stay - Disappointed

The hotel was spotless and the owner Christine was lovely would go out her way to help you would highly recommend this hotel and breakfast was lovely freshly cooked and made porridge for my friend who doesn’t eat fry ups

Kids holiday

What a lovely family run hotel. We had been let down by 2 previous hotels double booking us so i rang the benson at 8.30 in the evening and the lady said she had a double room available and within the hour we were checked in. The room was very spacious clean and comfortable and we had a sea view. We had bed and breakfast at a very reasonable price and the breakfast was very nice with plenty of selection. We were made to feel so welcome and would definitely stay here again. Location is great 10 mins walk to the tower or tram stop just across the road from the hotel 

Best hotel we have stayed in in Blackpool 

Just returned from our second stay at the Benson.rooms are spotless with everything you need. Hosts Christine & Les made us feel so welcome. Visited for my 60th birthday & they even put on a lovely little buffet & birthday cake. We’ve already booked to go back in September. Arrive as guests & leave as friends would absolutely recommend The Benson

Best Hotel

We were recommended this hotel after our previously booked one was substandard. We were welcomed by Les & Chris the owners who couldn’t do enough for us. Beautiful clean rooms. Will arrived as guests & left as friends. Would highly recommend The Benson will definitely be bacl

Great Hotel

I've been to a few hotels in blackpool and this was one of the cleanest. It doesnt have much kerb appeal but your hosts are very pleasant and keep a clean hotel.i would recommend to any of my family and friends to stay here. We had 4 rooms they weren't massive but ok for our  weekend stay

Very clean

We have stayed at a lot of little hotels in Blackpool and I have to say this one is the best 😁😁
We was meet by the owners who are really lovely people,the hotel is spotless and the location was fantastic for me and my partner 😁😁
We are definitely going back(the owners where installing a new bar,which we will certainly try when the bar is open 😁😁).
We couldn't fault the Benson one lovely hotel 👍👍

The best little hotel in Blackpool

Where do i start?
From entering the Hotel you are greeted with a big smile from Sarah, who CAN'T do enough to make your stay so special.
It is spotlessly clean from top to bottom.
I have stayed in numerous hotels non of which ive returned to EXCEPT The Benson, they make you feel like family.
The Breakfast is 2nd to non and plenty of it.
A big thankyou for our stays during this year to Sarah & Glen not forgetting lovely little Evie.

Bensons the Best

Several of us went to Blackpool for the weekend and stayed at The Benson. The hotel was spotless, lovely decor, comfy bed and nice and warm. It’s a couple of mins walk to the beach. As the hotel do not do breakfast, the landlady suggested Weatherspoons for which was only about 10 mins walk. The North train station is about 1 1/2 miles away. 
I was so surprised how cheap the accommodation was given how lovely it is. If I return to Blackpool I will definitely try and stay here again.

Wonderful

Nice guest house very clean and comfortable room.quiet we slept great in the family room Fast wi-fi great for my teenage daughter and her friend. Owner carried our cases upstairs which i was grateful for.
