We always stay at the Boomerang every time we come up to Blackpool. Vicky and Rory are awesome hosts and are always on hand to help and sort any issues out. We love staying here and have been for the last few years. 
Rooms are always clean and beds are comfortable. 
We love having a chat and giggle with Vicky and Rory, it is so lovely staying somewhere with friendly hosts 🙂  
Highly recommended. Will be back there in a week's time for Rebellion Punk Festival. 🙂

Best Place To Stay: The Boomerang Hotel

The first hotel we book on our trips to Blackpool. Vikki and Rory welcome you with their innate brummie warmth an humour. An absolute diamond couple that promote friendliness and comfort above all. With the sparkling cleanliness and great location this hotel and it's owners will win your hearts!

Why wouldn't you stay

Vicky and Rory were really welcoming and lovely hosts. Great location, close to the shops, restaurants and nightlife, as well as great value, comfortable rooms. Vicky was a great help when I couldn’t find the hair dryer (I missed a drawer!) Really great stay, thank you both! 😀

Lovely hosts, great location and great value!

A warm welcome at The Boomerang. Located on Adelaide St (basically a road of Guest Houses and Hotels) it's handy for the Winter Gardens, being literally behind the venue, and also handy for the City Centre shops and the Sea Front & Beach. Good value and a friendly welcome from Viki & Rory  the owners.

Magic Boomerang 

Accommodation was clean and adequate for us. Not noisy and rooms were warm. Host was very pleasant and helpful with places to eat and where to go. We were able to rest in the lounge and have a drink with our family. 

Very pleasant experience had by us ally all.

Good location, a little bit different from most hotels in Blackpool. Owners seemed very nice. We were only staying for one night, from
Contacting the hotel to actually booking it the same day as we were staying we felt happy with our choice. The owner prior to us calling back suggested if we are looking at other hotels then be careful as they aren’t all family friendly which was nice that our welfare of where we stayed was in her thoughts even if we weren’t staying at the Boomerang. 

There was a couple of things that may put people off, the hotel doesn’t offer breakfast which was ok for one night but not sure how I would feel dragging the family out for breakfast every morning for a longer stay although again we were told if the kids wanted cereal there was no problem with them getting it. Another lovely touch. 

There is no parking at the hotel but it is across from a car park where it’s £12 for 24hrs. The hotel also removed £20 from our bill to cover this. Not sure if that can be expected every time as the hotel is already priced low enough to make up for breakfast and parking. It was another lovely touch nonetheless.

In my opinion and what I like is a proper glass with my beer or if I’m having a spirit. I’m not sure if you can get a glass as I didn’t ask but I had a JD and coke and it came in a plastic glass. Not a big issue at all but I do prefer a proper glass. 

The room we had was very spacious and had a fridge, air con machine and a large cupboard with iron board etc. 

Overall I was happy with our stay and will return in the future. Unfortunately we have stayed in another hotel for over 20 years and the only reason we won’t be back at Boomerang soon is because of this and only this. 

Lastly on the night we stayed I was a little rude when returning from the town after a few beers, the hotel has a Ring doorbell so if the owners read this I would like to apologise, my comments at the door does not reflect the hotel at all or me as a person. 

Anyone looking to book this hotel should have no worries on doing so.

First of all, the correspondence from when you book is fantastic, any questions or actually anything, Viki gets right back to you.

As soon as I walked in, was greeted by probably the two nicest hotel hosts in the country Viki and Rory,
they made me feel so welcome and at home instantly,
after getting settled into my beautiful room, which was spotless by the way.
Popped down to bar area, where I was greeted again with wonderful chats and banter with them, just so friendly and nice.
I went out on my night on the town, got back a bit late and a bit pickled, but once again was greeted with warm welcome and chat.

If you want to have a nice time in Blackpool with a nice place to stay, you will find it hard to better Boomerang.

Hosts with the most

Excellent stay, came here for the annual magic convention. The location is perfect for the winter gardens.  Our room was spacious, warm and clean. 5th time here and we will return. Vicky made us feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble...

Just got home from a super stay at Boomerang. 

We arrived Thursday evening at half 6 and were made to feel right at home by Vicky and Rory straight away. 

We were given our key to a lovely clean and well equipped room with electric heaters meaning we could keep our room as warm as we wanted. 

When we came back downstairs we had a couple of drinks with Vicky and Rory who were great company. 

We had a really well packed brunch bag for breakfast both mornings and use of a fridge in our room to keep the fruit and milk cold which was really helpful. 

The bed was so comfy and we enjoyed a nice lie in on both mornings we were there. 

The Christmas card from them both when we checked out was really lovely. Can’t fault them both, such a lovely couple and we have never been made to feel more welcome when staying in a hotel! We will definitely be back.

Excellent stay and the best hosts we’ve ever met!

Mouldy, smelly dirty, needs a refurb, had to boil kettle on the floor as the shelf was unsafe and there was no plug, very small room, no chair in room. Female owner was very welcoming, bed was clean and the location is good, but unlike a boomerang I will not be back.
