This hotel was the worst hotel I have ever been in. 
Arrived at Maryport Marras checked in the scruffy reception then was told to go the hotel next door, Adam & Eve. 
Walked into the stairway to be greeted with rubbish at the bottom of the stairs.  The smell was unbearable throughout the hotel. Navigated to our room after hopping over some mucky underwear on the stairs. 
Opened the bedroom door (bedroom door only opened half way due to the bed being in the way) filth all over the floor, must of been many visits since its last hoover. The was a smell of cigarettes all over the room, the bed sheets and pillows stank of it. 
We thought we would try and sleep but it was so uncomfortable and smelly we decided to leave at 11pm and make the three hour journey back home.

We didn't expect much for what we paid, but there must be some standards of cleanliness.

Stay away from this and Adam & Eve next door

We arrived at the ‘hotel’ at roughly 9pm to have to ring the bell 3 times before we got a response and when we was greeted we was greeted by a man who had a serious attitude problem and was more than willing to take our money and turn us away as we didn’t arrive at the time he was expecting us to even though there wasn’t a option for an estimated arrival time. We then was let in after 10/15 minutes of being stood outside proving that it didn’t state a time for us to enter the building to be told that we need to pay a £10 fee for the room key which again was not stated. We was then took to a building next door and was told to go and find the room ourselves. Found the room to walk in and find 2 bunk beds which is not what we paid for. The beds was flimsy and the sheets was stained with who knows what. Curtains wasn’t facing the right way round. There was no facilities in the room. It was absolutely freezing and smelt dreadful as to which taking all of it into consideration I refused to stay (could not of got out any quicker if I’m honest). Myself and my partner decided that it would be advisable for us to find somewhere else (as difficult as it was we found somewhere else). All round horrible place to stay with absolutely shocking customer service. Would not recommend.

Disgusting.

Following our arrival at the hotel we were greeted by the owner who was a nice guy and made us welcome. Then we were shown to a separate building which would have looked nice if it were finished. Upon entering our cell for the day we had a look around and saw a collection of white stains on the bedding, curtain and bathroom curtain that I am telling myself are splashes of paint but I'm probably wrong and don't want to think of the alternative. Once getting past the collection of mould growing at the edge of the ceiling we had a look around for some facilities within the room but to no avail. There was no TV or even a kettle. It was literally a stained bed, a set of small drawers that were broken and some unknown shavings on the floor that were either tobacco or some other ominous substance that looked like a dog had left a recently removed gift for us. If we were fat we wouldn't have been able to get into the room and wouldn't be able to get in or out of the cupboard called a bathroom. Thankfully neither me nor my partner were crippled so the mountain that is the flight of stairs wasn't a problem but I think I'll skip the gym for today. The view from the room reminded me of a war documentary in the middle east; dirty, smelly and very displeasing to the eye.

I suppose the all important question is would i stay again? Well, If i were incarcerated in prison for 20 years and given the chance to come here or stay in prison I'd chain myself to my cell. At least I could make toilet wine.

Dirty place, No Facilities, Slept in my clothes.

Me and my friend stayed a night there for one night only one night was enough the owner was brand new with us. Found a top under the bed tho. For £30 a night wasn’t to bad for what you get. Close to where you need to be in Blackpool. Going with my girlfriend in October won’t be taking her here though haha. The hotel room did worse and worse since we first arrived

You pay for what you get.

We turned up to the hotel and were told by so called manager that our room had been taken so they shipped us off to the corner
So after getting to the bottom of the street we were presented with a building that was boarded up on the windows of the front door
Upon entering the property you could see quote clearly it was an old building that needed significant repairs 
After following a chap up the stairs trying to point out toilets upon the way yet all doors looked the same so who knows
He opened the bedroom door and said here and left us to it 
Well it was a bed plonked in the room next to a sink that dripped constantly and a curtain pole that fell down when I tried to shut them
The shared bathroom was a tiny thing that had steps to get up to and the shower if you can call it that it was a hosepipe really
And that was higher than the toilet was a weird setuo
Even still I barely had room to sit on the loo and I was never going to risk the deadly shower
The room itself had dents holes and huge cracks in the wall
Needless to say we left and found somewhere else to stay
I suggest you do the same

What a disater

Very dirty hotel beds are broken. Bed and hole room very dirty. Bad customer service. Do not book. In hole very very bad experience. Never never would I recommend this hotel to any one. Very disappointing

This place is the worst place I have ever booked. The big bulky guy at the so called reception was rude the minute we got there. He gave us keys to a closet with a bed . The bed had not even been made from the previous occupants let alone clean sheets. When I walked in the room I nearly cut my head open on the wall bracket for tv that had no tv so was just sticking out of wall. The room stank, the shower cubicle had very bad mold up wall. No soap no towel actually the place had nothing but a bed that had a quilt on that had been used by several guests and I mean the guests that pay by the hour for the room. But I could be wrong they may pay by the night. ALL I CAN SAY IS STAY AWAY. read other sites such as trivago this is not a joke.

This place isn't a hotel...its a dosshouse crackhouse that can stay open by pretending to be a hotel. I was thrown out at 6am this morning because the key for the front door i was given didn't work and according to the landlord i was to blame?! Just don't stay here whatever you do. You're better on the beach.

This place needs shutting.

Being the positive person I am, I will start with the one good thing... The place was so disgusting we haven’t stopped laughing and will forever have a memory of our Blackpool trip.

Now the bad bit... you arrive to what I can only describe as a derelict halfway house that even the local homeless would stay well clear of! First of all you are given keys to your room, but you don’t actually need them as with a gentle push the doors open anyway, I can only guess this is from the doors being kicked in previously

Then the room itself... If you don’t mind stained bedsheets, pillows that look to have been used to wipe arses and beds that are touching the floor, the floor whereby you wouldn’t want to go barefoot on as the chance of catching foot rot is high then this is the place for you. 

The Window was yellow, the walls were black and the room clearly had not been cleaned in some years! There was no toilet roll, you got out the shower feeling dirtier than when you got in and we had to sleep on our towels, wearing socks and our bodies fully covered as the fear of being bit by bed bugs or someone hiding under the bed we’re strong. 

We had to barricade ourselves in our room as the door didn’t lock and we were concerned someone would walk in and judging by the area and the ‘hotel’ it would be someone bad. Although I’m not really sure why we were concerned as no one in the right mind would come within 10 feet of that place.

The fact we were only there for one night and it was just somewhere to get out our heads down and everywhere else was fully booked is the only reason we actually stayed there, although we did toy with the idea of sleeping on the streets as it would be cleaner.

Please do not ever contemplate staying here, especially if you have a family. All jokes aside it was the most disgusting place I have ever seen and I wouldn’t stay here again even if they paid me. We are now on our way home feeling itchy and dirty and will be hosing ourselves down in the garden before I even enter my house to ensure I don’t take any of the bugs and filth in with me!

DO NOT STAY HERE, I REPEAT.. DO NOT STAY HERE!

Firstly I’ll start by saying that if it was possible to give zero stars I absolutely would do!

This is the most disgusting place I’ve EVER come across and it should be shut down or even better, demolished! 

I think it would be safe to say it’s not been cleaned in forever and there are years worth of dirt on everything, the beds are broken and the mattresses have holes in them. The bedding is disgusting and if you dare to take the pillows out of the cases you’ll find that someone has used them to wipe there ass (probably because you have to ask for toilet roll)! 

The doors don’t lock but they’ll give you a key to make you think they do 🤔 and to top it all off, if you are mad enough to try and sleep here (on top of your towel and fully clothed so you hopefully don’t get bitten by bed bugs) then you’ll be woken up by the owner screaming and shouting at other guests in the middle of the night! 

AVOID this place at all costs!!!!!!!!
