Wonderful hosts! Nothing was too much trouble for this couple. Close to all amenities and clean and did the job for a couple of nights. Room was good size and en suite was good. Breakfast was great with choice of hot drinks and juice.
 Bar prices were good and choice of drinks served. 
Beds weren’t the most comfortable but were ok. Thank you for being amazing hosts for my sons and his team mates weekend.

Lovely hosts

Stayed in the Deluxe room!!!!, more like a cupboard, very grubby room, carpets, and curtains to be desired. Bed uncomfortable pillows flat and hard, bedding wasn't the best but clean. Bathroom not the best, no hot water. Again, very grubby. We should have paid more attention to the reviews. 
On the positive breakfast was OK

When we arrived at the hotel the staff seemed very pleasant. They couldn't do enough for us. But then we entered the room and it was down hill from there. The room was very dirty. The pillows were rock hard and so were the mattresses. The single bed looked like it had been thrown into the middle of the room.  The double bed base was broken and it felt like the mattress was leaning to one side. The covers had stains on them. The plug socket was broken and the double bed base was pushed right up to this. Wallpaper on the ceiling was torn and stains on the walls. The bathroom shower cubicle plug was disgusting. The grout was mouldy. There were stains all down the bathroom door. The breakfast was tasty though. I am disabled and I suffer with my back. I was in so much pain on that bed. I had no sleep what so ever 😐. When my partner complained the lady was rude. I have stayed in a few hotels in Blackpool but this is the worst I've ever stayed in. I will never stay there again.

OK size room nice bathroom good bed good nights sleep great bonus swimming pool heated the host Tony was friendly good size breakfast/ have to keep asking for towls for room and room was never cleaned had to wait about 20 min when I arrived at hotel no one answered the door or phone but good bar prices and nice and spacious leather sofas big tv sky sports tnt sports its cash only 

A nice 3 day break 

DO NOT stay at the hotel, the staff are extremely rude, unpleasant and unprofessional. We booked a triple room, on arrival was told no room available and we would have to have a double with a put up bed, for 3 women!! We accepted this and paid, not happy but it was a room. When we got in there, it was absolutely disgusting, stains on the bedding, blood on the walls, dust everywhere and the bathroom was unbearable it smelt like a man’s urinal. You couldn’t swing a cat in the room let alone put another bed in there. When I confronted the owner she said it was ONLY a stain on the bed and it was clean, I was told not to worry about the bed and she will re bleach the bathroom, we ask for a refund and she refused, we left and checked in to another. Absolute disgrace of a place!!!  

DO NOT STAY HERE

We had a lovely stay here, the hosts are very welcoming,  rooms are clean. Downstairs there us lots of room with a well equipped bar and music. Breakfast was delicious 😋.  2 mins from the beach. We will return 

Excellent location, great breakfast. 

Wasn't impressed with our stay, the bedroom floor creaked everywhere, the bed was no better. There was a hole in the wall, cylocone sealer dawbed on the window sill , bare wires in the shower running into the shower box, dirt at the bottom shower tray, bad grouting round the sink stand, the extracter fan looked like it hadn't been cleaned , ever. Downstairs in the bar sofas crammed in, tv was on as well as the music so you couldn't hear people talking, out of date crisps. Breakfast wasnt that warm, ... you get the jist, wasn't impressed

Avoid this hotel

Great hotel stairs bit steep but the owners couldnt do anything more for you if you tried very friendly and welcoming. Great breakfast full english, ceral tea coffee extra also indoor swimming pool heated didnt use but look ok😀 

Weekend away

Ive stayed here many times and always have a great time. Comfy beds  great breakfast. Well stocked bar and the owners are the friendliest swimming pool is heated and TV lounge with all the sports channels.

Holiday

This was booked on a whim by my sister as the breakfast photos looked great, and right they were, the owners were also very pleasant….unfortunately the niceties end there.

Our double room consisted of a smaller than double bed with faded sheets and a dirty wall where I would’ve perhaps liked to have seen a headboard. Our request for a child cot was swiftly granted yet it was covered in stains, and so our baby slept between myself and partner in our already cramped bed, needless to say, we didn’t get the best nights sleep! Towels were provided yet did not smell freshly laundered, and were black…not my favourite colour in a hotel, instant cover up for stains in my opinion.

Shower room needed a good scrub and a little maintenance, with a filthy soap ledge, mouldy grouting and fixtures missing. Wallpaper hanging off the ceiling, cheap dated curtains, grubby surfaces, tv not working…the place could do with a lick of paint and a good old revamp.

As I said, the breakfast was freshly cooked, tasty and hosts were very accommodating but unfortunately, even for a ‘cheap’ stay I think we paid well over the odds.
