Booked this last minute on Friday, and arrived a couple of hours later.
 Warm welcome by the owners and spent a pleasant hour in the bar chatting with them. Room was really clean with comfy beds, lovely soft bedding and decent towels. Breakfast in the morning set us up for the day-  toast, jam, juice, cereals and of course the full English.

This may only be a small place, but it does the job very nicely.

Located 15 mins walk from the centre of Blackpool and 10 min walk from the South Pier and pleasure beach.

Recommended highly.

Hosts John and Linda were very welcoming, Weren't at all bothered by our 4 year old being a bit of a little madam, very understanding.

Great stay

Had a lovely weekend in Blackpool with my 3 children, John and Linda at the rhoslyn were lovely and very welcoming. Chatted to us for a while one night while me and the kids played pool. Didn't mind that my 5 yelr old daughter brought her leftover mcdonald's back with us, breakfast was lovely and even made a change on the kids breakfast as my older 2 don't like egg. Room was spotless as was the rest of the hotel. 2nd time we have stayed there and will definatly be going back. Thank you John and Linda for a lovely stay 😊

Lovely stay

Linda and John are a lovely couple, who own this small B&B. The place is spotless, and the breakfast sets you up for the day. Just spent three nights here, and will definitely becoming back, although John said I wasn't welcome, but I know he was just joking. Will be recommending your hotel to family and friends. Take care of each other, and we hope to see you again soon. 

Lovely Place

Just back from a weekend away to Blackpool and stayed in the Rhoslyn Hotel.

It was a last minute booking to take our 5 year and 2 year old to see the lights. The day before I read the reviews and seen a few saying not to book this and don’t understand why ?? I’ve been to Blackpool a few times staying in hotels that cost more and by far this was the best yet , the couple that owned it couldn’t be more helpful and were fantastic, seen a few people talking about the front door getting showed how to use it I think the lady was only showing you the way to open the door without locking other people out with the safety lock the door has. The hotel was spotless everywhere in the hotel nothing out of place and the rooms where the same couldn’t fault anything about them even had a fan in the room incase it was to warm to sleep. The breakfast was just perfect a set English breakfast what did make sense to the owners that they had everything just perfect for you in the morning also there was a choice of cereal at breakfast. 

The previous comments should look in the mirror and say to themselves if they want to have the same hotel as the Hilton they should tap themselves and pay top rates for daft complaints about the mushrooms were like rubber and getting showed to open and close the door like a kid the lady was just showing you that if u pull the handle up it lock people out behind you even with a key.

Had a fantastic time in a really clean Hotel with owners that take time out to help and have a chat with you what more do you need for the money you pay for it.

Faultiest Hotel 

The owners were a lovely couple, friendly and attentive, the lady helped me with my luggage to the top floor  although rooms are  small there very clean ,  and a nice breakfast although needs more choices,  child friendly also, they have a issue about there door don't know why, they don't want you to touch the handles lol after paying they showed me how to open and shut there door,

Lovely short break

Arrived earlier on today at the rhoslyn hotel, the owner seemed ok at first showed us how to use the door like we are children. And then my partner asked him if he knew of any takeaway local and if we could eat it in the dining room or our room, the owner said no and was really funny. So we went out and when we arrived back he was actually there waiting for us and said "your not happy are you" and told us to leave. Who in the right mind would ask someone to leave when we have a 2 year old with us at 7pm at night!! Very rude and shouldn't even be allowed to run a hotel with his poor customer service skills and his wife hiding from us telling us to speak to her husband. Unwelcoming and I'd avoid it. The room wasn't even cleaned either there was a haribo packet under the bed and the bathroom hadn't seen a duster in years.

Stayed a few nights got told is was 11oclock bar and at twenty to 11 I asked for another drink to be told no by the owners the kids breakfast they wouldn't even swap the egg or beans for a peace of undercooked bacon .. the owners were weird they had mirrors set up so they could see you wherever you were in the bar and coming in through the front door . The tinned mushrooms were vile as was the selection of breakfast cereal . They didn't give you a choice on what you want for breakfast just 1 sausage 1 undercooked bacon 1 tinned tomatoe beans and tinned mushrooms cold toast and p**s water tea it was poor . Before anyone says different there was a couple who didn't want beans and the owner said eat them today and tomorrow they won't put it on . I said no tomatoes or jellyshroom I got told tough .... Very good customer service there pal . We were listening to the music channels in the bar they turned it off and put some old music dvd on what instantly depressed the life out of us . They were plain rude not even a hello or good bye when we were going on days out ... Avoid this hotel hell with its dirty bed sheets and soggy towles at all cost ... Oh and don't ask a question "for God sake" will be your reply .. 

Apart from these little problems the place was a s**t hole ....

Bad is to good to say

Well where do i start with this s**t hole... Me and my partner and kids arrived and at first the owners were great very helpful and chatty they shown us how to open and close the door like children then we put our bags in the room and because it was late we decided to go to the bar for a drink only to be given cans of larger at £2.50 (mask and a striped top comes to mind) anyway the owner bragged about how much money he has and blar blar blar I stopped listening after his first breath. Breakfast was rubbish tinned mushrooms were rank bacon under cooked my partner asked for no beans or tomatoes they said eat it today and tomorrow they'll sort it fair play they did but when I asked I got "tough" I had to suffer. They were rude and moody they ruined our break away. Never changed the bedding never gave us clean towels and near fell out with us cause we asked for more sugar in our room... We tried avoiding them all day cause they put a downer on our family break but they seemed to be waiting for us to quiz us where we been. Do not go to this dump with the ogars. We love blackpool just won't be staying there again..
