I booked Lolly's for a simple night out in blackpool and only stayed for one night. When I woke up in the morning and found a parking ticket on my car, even though I was parked where I was told to park by the receptionist. I confronted the member of staff and he told me the ticket would be sorted by the hotel. After multiple attempts to get in touch I had not heard back from them and I received a letter from the company that issued the parking ticket demanding £100 or I would be taken to Court. Obviously I have now paid for the ticket but still no response from the hotel.

Do Not Use Lolly's

Not the best experience. Reading previous reviews there is always a mention of " the place smells like wet paint". Now this leads me to believe that either this place keeps changing hands, Dulux have created a paint that never dries or this is the "in smell" room fragrance of Blackpool. 

Hotel room looked like a prison. Ok we weren't there to sleep and were planning to use the room as little as possible but coming back or waking up in that room made me feel like I was in an unfunny episode of Porridge. 

The guy working there was pleasant enough but after overcharging us for the room (included the deposit in to the charge which we had already payed) we were assured this would be refunded. He was the one who mentioned it to us so you know...fair play to him. Unfortunately after a few months and 3 emails to the place with assurances of "it will be with you soon, it's the computer" or "there's a guy coming in who will do it as he knows the computer" etc the money never materialised. Perhaps it's a super computer which are known to be notoriously difficult to learn and manage. 

Can't say I'd stay here again but then again, after visiting a town that still sells golliwog dolls on the street I can't say I'll ever be back. Save yourself the hassle and watch Holiday on the buses which feels like a similar time frame and vibe.

Was good until it was taken over ...you will be ripped off.......you have been warned..........he will take your booking and that will be all---- ( and when you turn up you will not be let in most of the other hotels know this as people have found out.

Do not Go !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Booked an overnight stay with my partner at Lolly's, as we arrived to check in and were greeted by a nice very polite gentleman stood at the top of the steps in front of the front door.
He introduced himself, and his job title was Public Protection Officer for the local council, he had arrived there to SHUT THE PLACE DOWN, because of the danger to any guests and the public, this was because the owner had been illegally tapping into the electricity supply to the flats next door.
This was the 6th time that he had been caught doing this and was warned that a court case was pending....For the full story with all the details about what went on at Lolly's go to the Blackpool Gazette's website the story was in there on 10/10/16 you really ought to read what went on there it's shocking, scary and unthinkable

Dodged a Bullet ( or being barbequed ) at this place

Please please don't stay hear booked online line when we turned up the hotel was in darkness could not get hold of anyone other guests where also left stood on the door step no explanation no refund hole break  ruined
