Just got back from spending Christmas and new year here 4th time ive been this year had a fantastic time plenty of entertainment excellent food and plenty of it quizzes and games even a Christmas present of the owners who also mix with you staff and owners are realy nice people and can't do enough for you made some realy nice friends nice clean rooms Happy new year to you all thank you for having us Mel and Alan we will be seeing you soon Elaine and Martin xx

Christmas and new year 

This is the best hotel in Blackpool I'd recommend it to anyone the staff and management are so friendly the food is lovley it was lovley and clean the entertainment was really good everybody gets on together I'm really looking forward to out next stay Mel the owner puts something on for everyone 

The best Christmas and New year for 2023

Unless you enjoy bed bugs, leaks, miserable argumentative owners and wasting your hard earned money; avoid at all costs.
We stayed for a dance comp and they proceeded to bad mouth dance families and how much trouble they cause them when they book.
A couple of owners who are clearly no longer interested and just in it for a quick dollar.

B&B Nightmare

After we stayed in May,we booked to come again,looking forward to good company,good food and evening entertainment. Room was very small but clean,food was nice,HOWEVER,for the 5 nights we stayed we had only 1 night of entertainment (granted no entertainment on the Sunday as usual)but after Monday night there was nothing-not even the bar was open. There were 9 guests in the hotel total,had we known this was the case,we would've booked another time to come as the entertainment is a big part of our holiday-we ended up watching TV in the lounge-something we could've done at home. On booking we were led to believe the hotel was fully booked as the only rooms we were offered were sea view rooms(slightly more expensive)and had no idea that entertainment would not be on! One member of our party was charged £2 a day to charge his mobility scooter(a new thing)this seemed to be a slap in the face considering how much we paid for how little we got! Whilst I appreciate that entertainment will cost a fair amount to put on,it wasn't our fault there were so few guests-perhaps a courtesy call to inform guests that the hotel was almost empty-and allow us to make an informed decision whether we wanted to change to a later date would have been the fair thing to do?!
We have been coming to this hotel for many years and this will have been the third time since the previous owners have left. To say we left extremely disappointed would be an understatement. 

Disappointed 

Just got back from the soul and motown weekend entertainment was amazing rooms were clean and comfy food breakfast and evening meal  choice of food and all delicious staff all friendly and Mel the owner makes you so welcome and made some amazing friends was there June as well and will be back soon love to you all keep up the good work Mel your doing a great job xxx

Lovely friendly hotel

Stayed at the Hotel Belvedere with several family members - lovely improvements made by the new owners and more upgrades planned. Yes the bedrooms are dated BUT they are spotlessly clean. Great location, fresh home cooked food and entertainment provided nightly. Keep up the great work !!

Weekend get together!

Jamie our waiter was very helpful when my daughter had a seizure  at the breakfast table. Our Christmas Dinner was outstanding and it was a plus to play bingo and watch the entertainment in the hotel  without going out. Our bed was very comfortable and our shower was perfect.   I would highly recommend this hotel and hope to return again in the future.

Pre Christmas break

This is not the ritz but but what do you expect for that price?
Had a chat with nee owner who have to told me of their plans to update and modernise which if all goes go plan sound great.
Food was lovely home cooked an fresh no frozen muck.
Rooms are very dated but who spends all day in their room? 
Lifts to all 3 floors
Wallpaper on en-suite is a miss miss matched a could give you a head ache! But again it’s been like that for years so let see if new owners change it?! 
Water given at meal times if requested personally I find more hygienic than a jar of water left sat while tables set up before you arrive to dinner 
Entertainment was fantastic 5 star and bar prices cheap as chips! 
Only one slight problem I had is tv in rooms are small but again who wants to sit in the room all day so for an hour here and there it’s not a big deal
Great value for money. Lovely staff. Great food. Brilliant entertainment.
All in all good stay would recommend

Honest review

Me and my husband Chris have just had the best Christmas 🎄 new year here Mel & Alan & staff are amazing all the food is lovley they cart do enough for u I'm so looking forward to seeing everyone back here in March for Saint Patrick's week I'd recommend anyone to come here 

Excellent Christmas and New year with the management and staff 

The reception and restaurant is spotless. Unfortunately that's where it ends. The bedrooms are grimm. I stayed in the Royal room. Not sure why it is called that. It's a big cold room. There's an electric heater in there so the owner must know it's cold. There's no hand soap either. We had to buy some. There's no information regarding breakfast, tea times or what entertainment is on. The staff were okay but communication is poor. Visited with my family regarding the good reviews. On reflection these seem to be reviews about the previous owners. And yes you do have to pay for your water if you want a drink with your meal!
