This was our first visit to the Brincliffe Hotel and it definitely will not be the last. We arrived in the morning too early for checking in but asked if we could leave the car and go out for the day. We were invited in for cup of coffee and as our room was ready, Sue showed us to our room and explained the key workings for the outer doors to the hotel. The hotel is very dog friendly with the only place they are not allowed is the restaurant. Sue explained we could leave the dogs in our room while we had breakfast or they would set up a table in the bar for us.

Nothing is too much trouble for Sue (manageress) she is very knowledgeable and told us of 3 places we could go eat at night that would allow us to take our dogs.

Our double room (15) was clean, warm, comfortable with a great sea view and as a bonus the tableau illuminations at night. We opted for a table in the bar for the buffet breakfast where there was an amazing choice from croissants, fresh fruits, cereals, fruit juices, toast, tea and coffee and a full selection of cooked items. While some people are not fond of a buffet breakfast the cooked items were freshly cooked and hot (not kept warm). Our 2 jack russells were even given a breakfast sausage.

Tram and bus stops outside hotel. £6 for a day ticket lets you jump on and off trams and buses (using same ticket) as much as you want all day. There are even 3 and 7 day tickets available for longer stays

BRILLIANT DOG FRIENDLY HOTEL

We were here for one night to attend Play Expo and it was a great place to stay.

Calling ahead because we drive a large vehicle, we were allowed to drop the truck off for the day and this made the whole experience good from the start.

The room was clean and well laid out and the breakfast was one of the best I have ever had in many hotel stays across the years.

I would 100% stay here again and the people in charge were very helpful and nice.

Really really good.

This is the 2nd time myself and my partner have stayed here. We first visited in 2021 and were that impressed we came again in 2023. Were already looking forward to coming back in 2024! I dont see the need to try new hotels in the area when we know this one is perfect for us. We were greeted straight away and shown to our room. Sue was helpful, friendly and polite. The room was spacious with lovely decor and plenty of storage space for our things. It was also clean and well equipped with mini shower gels, shampoo, soap, teas, coffees, water and biscuits etc. We stayed for 2 nights and looked forward to the breakfast each morning. It didn't disappoint. Plenty of options to choose from: fresh juicy fruit, cereals, full English, Juices, smoothies, yogurts, croissants etc. We were greeted both mornings and shown to our table where teas and coffees were promptly brought over, as well as fresh toast. 
Over all it was another lovely stay and we can't fault it. Looking forward to returning again!

Not got a bad word to say about the place, staff or food

First of all the owners of this hotel are lovely, can't fault them, they also allow dogs which is great, breakfast is lovely, big selection of fruits, fresh juice and full English etc, only problems we came across was the shower in the room had next to no power running through it but that's not the owners fault, just took longer to shower, our rooms also weren't cleaned for 4 days, no fresh towels and no bins emptied,  when I mentioned it to sue in the morning she was apologetic and polite about it but when youve paid the money you have then you expect it to be cleaned and changed towels at least sometime throughout your stay. Overall good wee break away. 

Pleasant owners

I’ve just returned from Blackpool today, after visiting with friends for a brilliant weekend out…. We stayed here whilst we were here. It’s amazing! Only a small hotel, not far from the North Pier and is run superbly by Sue. Wow….. attention to detail, must be her middle name. From the rooms, arrival tea and coffee, to the Fantastically clean and beautiful rooms; just like in their photos on the website, but even better. Not only was her hospitality amazing and professional….. The full English breakfast (which is also included in the excellent and reasonable price) was sublime, fresh and plentiful.  I can’t praise Sue and her hotel highly enough! Thank you so much from the London and Watford crown… We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will certainly be booking with you again when we return. Amazing weekend stay at this beautifully run Hotel…. Superb. 

Stayed just one night for a gig at the Waterloo bar. Friendly host, nice room, good breakfast. Managed to park outside the hotel so bought a day rider for the trams and buses for £6. Tram stop across the road. I would stay again.

Nice one at Brincliffe....

We had a great stay at Brincliffe over the bank holiday weekend. We were warmly welcomed and it easily became a home away from home. The location for us was perfect, across the road from the hotel is a beautiful dog friendly beach. We liked being away from the hustle and bustle of Blackpool and instead enjoyed secluded beaches where we were the only ones there! Many thanks for a great stay. We hope to visit again soon.

A great dog friendly hotel close to a quiet dog friendly beach. 

Called here for an overnight stay with my dog in May, which was very convenient, as many hotels will not accept dogs. My welcome was very nice, staff very accommodating, plus the breakfast was to my satisfaction.
The location is obviously not in the middle of Blackpool, but the view will make up for that big time.

Friendly hotel who go that extra mile for guests Sue and Tony fantastic hosts and breakfast to die for rooms spotless only problem l had to check out. They deserve success very caring about there guests 

Definitely 5 star

We were greeted with warm welcome and offered tea and coffee
Sue the manager is lovely and couldn't do enough for us .
We had booked a Seaview room and at first it was lovely but when we came back later on we found that the heating had stopped working and believe me it was extremely cold in the room with damp sheets and all bed linen.
We mentioned it to sue the next morning and she immediately got onto the problem , unfortunately not being able to get the room warm she offered us a choice of any other room all of which were clean ,tidy and warm .The breakfast was very good with plenty of choices from full English with very tasty fried bread( yummy) to smoothies and continental breakfast.
Value for money not really at £85 a night in low season and our room wasn't serviced while we were there .the only thing that was done was the bin emptied and asked if we needed tea or coffee filling up .no bed made or clean towels .would we stay again I don't think we would apart from the breakfast .
