Stayed here with my daughter, for a couple of days midweek. Warmly welcomed by Chris, when we arrived.  We did plan on asking to drop our luggage but our room was ready and we got in early. Chris carried our luggage upstairs. We stayed in the Maple room which was lovely. The bed was so comfy, as were the two chairs. The room had a kettle, tea/coffee etc. We looked out on to the street but we did have a side view of the sea. It was very quiet at night, no noise issues. The Fossil Tree is on the main tram/bus line, so very convenient. The lounge/ dining area of the hotel is lovely and does have sea views. Breakfast was fabulous, good choice and table service. There is an honesty bar, we didn't use as we were just ready for bed after our fun filled days & evenings in Blackpool. However, we did look at the price list and we were pleasantly surprised at how reasonably priced it was and there was a good selection too. 
Both Chris & Christine were extremely nice and it was clear they wanted their guests to enjoy themselves and made sure we had what we needed. 
Wouldn't hesitate to return to this hotel and if we do come back to Blackpool, this would definitely be our first choice. 

Fabulous Homely Hotel

A lovely welcome from the owner Chris. Our room was beautiful. The views from the window were brilliant, with the added pleasure of the lights at night. Even though on a busy road, it was still quiet, allowing us a good nights sleep, in a comfortable four poster bed. Breakfast was delicious and nothing was too much trouble. There was off road parking for our car. Just a short walk down the road, there were lots of places to eat. We chose the Bispham kitchen. Lots of lovely food to choose from. The fossil tree is certainly a place to stay and we will definitely book again.

A chill out weekend, in an amazing hotel.

Another lovely weekend at the Fossil Tree with amazing hosts Chris and Christine.
From the moment you arrive a very warm welcome awaits .
Our room as ever was spotless clean tea coffee kettle hairdryer in the room plenty coat hangers in wardrobe and a comfortable warm inviting bed too.
Our breakfast in the morning just as impressive as ever everything table service brought to you all home cooked chosen from the menu as well as a choice of cereals juice tea and coffee.
This is our  3rd stay at the Fossil Tree and we wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Blackpool .

Another wonderful weekend

A brilliant hotel. Stayed 5 times this year. Rooms are excellent, clean and very comfortable. Drinks making facilities are available. The beds are extremely comfortable. Breakfasts are excellent with a good choice of food. The owners are welcoming, friendly and very helpful.  Convenient tram stops outside the hotel which makes getting about very easy. Brilliant sea views.

Would highly recommend this hotel for a peaceful break.

We enjoyed a three night stay at this hotel in October 2023. The hotel was immaculate and our room extremely comfortable with a superb view over the promenade, tramway and out to sea. The owners Chris and Christine were only too pleased to help with direction to places of interest and where to eat. The breakfast menu was extensive and the food excellent. We would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a stay away from the hustle and bustle of central Blackpool. We will certainly be back during 2024.

Excellent stay in Bispham

We have just come back from a 2 night stay at The Fossil Tree Hotel.

From first to last we had a fantastic experience.  First of all a guaranteed parking spaces is a great bonus.  We were in room 1, which is the Oak room on the first floor, which had an amazing sea view.
 
The room was spotlessly clean, had a comprehensive hospitality tray, and even had  a Tassimo coffee machine. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the room was beautifully decorated.

 

Breakfast was cooked to order, and was delicious, there was a choice of drinks and everything was served to your table.

There is a licensed honesty bar in operation, which had  plenty of choice, very reasonable prices and worked very well for us.

We could not fault our stay in any way, and as other reviewers have said, the best part of the experience at The Fossil Tree are the owners, Chris & Christine, 

nothing was too much trouble, they were friendly, professional and polished in every way. 

I would recommend The Fossil Tree every time, we loved it so much we have already booked our next trip.



Excellent stay - really delivered

Brilliant hotel. Very clean comfortable rooms. We stayed in the Elm room great seaview.Food is excellent. Chris and Christine are exceptional hosts. Nothing is too much trouble. They make you feel very welcome. Booked again for May and August 2023.

September Break

Lovely hotel. Our room was immaculate and had everything we needed for our stay. Breakfast was great and good quality produce. Chris and Christine were brilliant and very helpful. We will definitely be going to this hotel on our next visit to Blackpool 

A great stay at a lovely friendly hotel.

We paid our 2nd visit of the year to the Fossil Tree Hotel in Blackpool this weekend. 
As before, the Hotel was spotlessly clean, very comfortable,  and with excellent facilities.  The owners, Chris and Christine  are lovely people and fantastic hosts......really good at what they do!
The hosts serve an excellent breakfast, and with on site parking as well as close to both Tram Nd Bus Stops, the Fossil Tree delivers everything we need for a lovely stay.

Everything about our stay at The Fossil Tree was excellent. The hosts, Chris and Christine were friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were lovely. The location couldn’t have been better. In a quiet location near to a tram stop and near to the promenade.
