We arrived on foot at around 4.45pm for a 5pm check-in and although there were people in the reception room we were not let in in spite of ringing the doorbell and knocking quite loudly, very soon there was a queue out to the street.  Finally, a resident who was going out opened the door and we gained entry and went to the reception room where the process of booking in seemed over complicated and disorganised, after waiting while people were told that the cash-only deposit was stated and someone calling the chap away to show him a problem with their room we finally got booked in and went to the room.

Our room was at the front overlooking the street and we thought we might get a lot of noise from people returning to other hotels further up the street. as we settled in we found the room to be quite scruffy and with quite a lot of minor defects so we photographed them (you know deposit) but during our inspection we found the room to be clean and well presented albeit quite tired and ready for a refurb. We didn't get woken by noise from the street but we closed the window as it is November, but summer could be different.

At breakfast, that they provided early for us, we had a chat with the owners who, as we thought were new, having only been there a few weeks they told us of their plans and we saw the breakfast room was freshly renovated and looking good along with a decent but basic breakfast. We left feeling a lot better about the place than when we arrived. The Parin is to have a name change soon and I look forward to seeing what they can achieve when we have a return visit. Good luck.

Bad first impression, but it got better.

My friends and myself arrived in Blackpool at 10am. We spoke to the owner and she informed us of the 4 parking spaces that were ag the back of the hotel available for £10. We made use of this and went on with our planned activities. 3 of our party returned to the hotel to check in at 6pm whilst 2 queued for dinner. 
The hosts were welcoming and dedicated to making sure we were comfortable. The room was spacious and immaculate. The bathroom is small but we didn’t mind.
The hosts informed us of the £6.99 breakfast that was available for us to book. We had this and it was lovely. We booked for 9am, but were early upon arrival and we were welcomed.
The only issue came from the noise of other guests but we knew this would be likely being in a ground floor room. 

5 person stay - immaculate

Hi we have just stayed in this amazing place and we loved it, the rooms were very spacious and immaculately clean. The hosts were amazing and couldn't do enough for us and went above and beyond. I definitely can't wait to stay here again and would highly recommend you a to give it a try as I don't belive the negative comments do it justice. a massive 5 stars from us 😁😁😁

Lovely place to stay

We booked here as a last minute break to go up for the lights with our family of 5.
Our room was a family suite which would have slept 6. The room was basic but immaculate. We note the new owners had only taken ownership in the last few days and were very accommodating to us.
Some furniture may need updating in the future but more than adequate for use, beds very spacious and very comfortable. Plenty of clean towels, toiletries and loo roll provided.
We weren’t advised that a £50 cash security deposit was required on arrival, but this was refunded provided the remote control was returned on checkout.
It looks like the hotel had a bar in situ previously but this was not functional during our stay. We feel should this be a facility in the future along with the option to have breakfast at the hotel this would mean we rate the hotel 5 stars. Thanks for our brief stay we will be back soon x

Last minute break

Very disappointed by the state of the room for £150 plus £36 for breakfast which they sent us to another hotel for and it was closed we was outside till half 8 waiting with 5 kids.
*Door handles missing on the bathroom and bedroom so could not even take a dump with a closed door.
*Sanitary towels left from previous visitors
*turned up with the hotel stinking of weed and the fellas exuse was he’s clocked off now so enjoying himself which is fine but not in the hotel halls. 
We where in room 19 and even some of the lights don’t work and the fridge is filthy mouldy. 
Went round to the baron hotel for so called breakfast and even though it’s appearance is better then parin it’s stairwell stinks of weed.

We must be contacted asap to return our breakfast money as we had to have a McDonald’s. 

£186 for a bad experience like we have had stay away. No body to complain to either as no one is about they seem to enjoy a lie in.

Absolute dump with a shocking service with lies told to us about breakfast and every where stinks or weed

Went with my family to Blackpool for 2 nights and 3 days. This hotel catered for everyone’s needs. Individual needs included an adult on dialysis kidney and a child with special mobility and feeding needs. John and Dave were friendly and great help with accessibility and holding doors open. When asked for toilet roll and other necessities when we had run out they gave it. Also went above and beyond with our family of 11.

Brilliant place and great hospitality

Basicslly, lost my watch in hotel that I was sent to before this, and after a horrendous stay (locked out
Of room and told it would be a £60 call out charge) we left next morning. Got a phone call from the Barrons hotel )’(the hotel we actually booked but had to take a rim here instead due to overcapacity at the terminal barrons) saying they had found my dead fathers watch Ahmed that the concierge Wynie was going to post it with tracking details. So waited a week. Phoned up and was told that they were very busy and would send it. I sent Watnie Janisch money, waynie the concierge/manager, where the watch was, and was told he had sent air and was quick to avoid giving me treacking or anything. I tried phoning back but got no answers, phone kept ringing out. As soon as a hid my caller ID, Waynie answered in 2 rungs. Basically he stole my dead fathers watch which meant so much to me and had the nerve to take P&P to him as well. I’m driving down today with a few of my friends on a day trip
And am going to both the Barton’s a parin hotel to ask what actually happened to my watch m. Waynie you have my number, I have your bank details and all info will be passed in to Blackpool Polive. Where is my dead fathers watch Wynie Janisc?

I booked and paid here for 2 nights, got instant confirmation that I could go and check in, I had 2 children 9 months and 4 years a pushchair and numerous bags and baby things, I turned up to find the door LOCKED I stood outside for an hour in the dark with my 2 babies, I dialled the "emergency" numbers that were attached to the front door numerous times no one answered I left voice mails too! A guest let me in after seeing me so distraught with 2 young children, we go inside to find NOT ONE member of staff, and the reception door locked the guest confirmed there had been NO BODY there that evening either, I tried to keep calling the numbers and nothing. Luckily I managed to find and pay for another hotel. 2 hours later the parin hotel are calling me asking me what time im going to be checking in! I told him what had happened and how i had been stuck outside and tried calling several times and asked how i get a refund, he said go through booking.com and hung up on me, no explanation no apology nothing! Anyway the vile people in charge at the parin are point blank lying to booking.com about me saying I did not turn up and someone was there all night waiting for me, now I am £80 down and have taken this further as I have numerous evidence via call logs and phone recordings and pictures of the "emergency" numbers on the door that clearly never get answered. 😅 I think to point blank STEAL money from a mother of young children is absolutely disgusting. Place looked dirty and smelled anyway.

THEIF! DO NOT BOOK HERE!

Black damp in room, broken window, people kicking main door in leaving unsecured. Loud guests and no staff on site. Poor cleanliness and no housekeeping service. Staff from the Barron hotel also own the parin hotel and the staff there have terrible customer services. Other guests fighting police called and owners notified yet the owners at the Barton did nothing and made no attempts to come to there other hotel (parin) 
Terrible service and hotels. Avoid these hotels

Very poor

On the 15th of January I stayed here with my children after being messed around from 2 different hotels, the beds was very uncomfortable and the room temperature was up and down, little did I know until The morning that I had been bitten by something 5 times altogether! Monday the 17th of January I noticed that my arm had really Swollen up from one of the bits and actually got really badly infected where my doctor recommended going to hospital to get it checked and I was put on antibiotics and antihistamines which I’m currently still taking!! 
The management was appalling apart from the guy called Tom who really helped and was pretty much in charge of the whole hotels by the looks of things,

I would definitely recommend to stay away from this hotel aswell as the The Tamarind Cove Hotel as they couldn’t get the plumbing sorted!
