We want for our normal stay in Blackpool. We have been coming here for 15 years. When we arrived at this place we was stuck outside for 30 mins. The place was dirty. I would tell anyone not to stay here.

Disgrace

Oh dear where do we start? We were welcomed by a new owner who took over in June and he must of seriously let the place go downhill since. We booked this place as of the great trip advisor reviews. The communal areas were filthy not cleaned once during our stay, we were then given the keys to our room oh dear filthy be it the mirrors, carpet or bathroom, or mirror, photo attached of the bathroom toilet on our arrival. Things were falling off the wall, be it towel rail, or heater. The shower was awful, the owner admitted it was broken after the fire alarm went off from us having a shower as the screen was broken so a poor quality curtain was used which didn’t stop water coming out, so the rest of our week we showered at the excellent gym across the road. There were a lack of breakfast options no healthy food, apart from a couple of apples being provided on two days of our week asking for fruit. I bought my own porridge the owner did cook it but said it was complicated, very easy and we were happy to take the hit on paying for breakfast yet provide our own, my husband said his beans were cold from his cooked breakfast. The place looks run down and the toilet drips non stop very annoying, you also have to slam the door shut. There is a lack of hanging space don’t expect much for the price but the owner said previous hangers were stolen but he would bring us some more we didn’t complain but he offered and non appeared. The bed was quite good but the sheet didn’t fit the bed far to small. The internet didn’t work we had five devices so it wasn’t just our device I couldn’t connect at all and my husband managed to get on but was logged straight off as soon as he got logged in. The fire certificate was also from the previous owner so is there even a fire safety certificate? The reviews on trip advisor are great but let me promise you the reviews were obviously under previous ownership and it must of gone down hill, if you don’t believe us visit for yourself. The guy is actually quite a nice guy but we would not be returning until he got some help from someone experienced, let us also tell you are standards are not that high, happy with being in student accommodation not so long ago.  However someone clean would be nice.

I have stopped at this hotel many times before, so I was shocked to say the least when I turn up and find someone totally different now in charge. But let me tell you, this gentleman is doing it on his own,I must say I was very surprised, rooms newly decorated, it looks good.
We really enjoyed the breakfast too!!!
Great host, keep up all the hard work, it will pay off!!!

We stayed here to go to a concert at the Football just across the road. Mark the owner had only taken over two weeks before our stay. It was clean and tidy. He made excellent breakfasts. I think when Mark gets going he will do very well.

Good Stay.

Me and my partner got here yesterday, were here for a week and just wow! We arrived to two freindly faces, really polite lovely couple who so far have been superb! I can't wait for the rest of our stay. Breakfast was delicious and the room was cosy and perfect for us. Were excited to try the bar and they have a large screen in the dinning bar area! The facilities are really good theirs a toilet and a bathroom and toilet were welcome to use both which is amazing. Overall I really recommend and we will be booking again and again it's so close to the beach and piers!!!!
