Absolute Gem of a Place. We had never been to Bourne before,we had travelled here  from Staffordshire,(6 of us in all stayed at The Angel) travelled here for a funeral in Bourne town centre, so stayed overnight at The Angel Hotel. We could not have asked for better. Ben greeted us at Reception, showed us to a lovely upgraded, beautifully furnished and decorated room. Jess (Owner) cooked a fabulous full english breakfast for us, and it was lovely and hot. The Angel has its own cafe shop, and it is just fabulous, again, Jess there to serve you. A proper family run b&b hotel, loved it. Free parking in Burghley Street (back of the Hotel,about 2 mins walk}, and so central in the lovely high street with Restaurants, and bars etc. Next time we are in Bourne, (probably be next Summer) we will most definitely without hesitation stay at The Angel- absolutely loved it. Thank you Jess, what a lovely lady you are, it was nice chatting to you, also thanks to  Ben,(you were most helpful and informative about the area), and nice talking to your Dad on the phone when we booked etc. Loved it!! FAB-U-LOUS, LITTLE GEM OF A PLACE.  ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!!

A delightful place to stay. Ample free parking, right in the centre of a very appealing little town. Comfortable, clean and well-appointed. The breakfast was lovely, served in the café attached to the hotel (it was nice to be amongst general brunching café customers on Saturday morning); the welcome was genuine and the staff were helpful and friendly. We were sorry not to have longer there.

A lovely little gem

Really enjoyed our stay here. Ben and the staff we met were very friendly and helpful. Got lucky enough to be upgraded. Breakfast was delicious and freshly done on order. Shower was wonderful too. Enjoyed our stay immensely. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend.

Wonderful Hotel and Staff

Lovely hotel with newly refurbished quirky themed rooms.  A lovely gentleman greeted us all and showed us to our rooms. The dining room was also really funky and lovely breakfast. 
My daughter had an Oscar Wilde themed room. We had a zebra/lion/giraffe/elephant kind of zoo animal room - it was fabulously funky. Had a great nights sleep.

To access the free parking, you have to use Burghley Street which is worth noting.

Lovely stay over for a family birthday in Bourne. Great newly refurbished rooms and fab breakfast

Lovely old fashioned hotel, staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful.  The room was a King Size superior and had plenty of room, with a lovely comfy bed.  The bathroom could probably do with a little update but really good shower and all did the job, bed was so comfy I wish I'd have booked a late check out!

The breakfast was freshly cooked to order and on the weekend I stayed it was  mothers day, they had a lovely little helper who was kindly giving all the female guests a thank you token gift which I thought was just a really nice touch - bought a smile to all guests faces!

A nice hotel which has the personal touches missed by larger chain hotels, would recommend.

An asset to Bourne - a lovely hotel with wonderfully friendly staff

it is a first time for my support worker and i it is a very nice large place very clean plenty leg room round the tables a very nice staff and a good menu to choose from we will be back food was fresh cookt meals

We arrived very late... the manager ( I think he was the manager)  he was very very nice and helpful considering we were very late..the room was adorable & comfy.  The breakfast was super delicious..  absolutely loved this place.  Although,  parking was difficult to find.

Wonderful helpful joint owner Jess .Couldn't fault the room or the hospitality of the staff.My only concern is I found the stairs to my room 7was quite difficult to navigate as I have mobility problems. Although I was told about the stairs on booking I didn't realise how steep they would be .Again help was at hand but feel I would struggle to stay there again .If there are no mobility issues then I recommend this comfortable hotel .I am a lady of age and was staying alone but I felt very safe and secure in the property. 

Friendly and comfortable. 

We stayed in the hotel and held a wake in the stunning event room.  Everything was absolutely perfect, all the staff were so helpful and friendly, the food was delicious and the bar very reasonably priced. There were not enough stars - definitely a 10/10

Amazing Hotel - wonderful staff

Lovely hotel , great location , great breakfast , plenty of parking. Had everything i needed in my room , kettle, teas, coffees ,  iron , ironing board, a fan , as it was hot in there with no air conditioning,  but the fan kept nights nice and cool . I will surely book again next year
