This is the worst hotel i’ve ever stayed in!!!!!! fridge smells like rotten fish, the room furniture is scuffed, chipped and stained, cannot open the door to access bathroom correctly due to the bed and how it’s positioned. 1 Pillow?!? we were given one flimsy paper thin pillow each which did nothing! Other guests up at all hours and non courteous of other guests screaming kids shouting adults in the halls at 6.45am walls are paper thin! Overall worst hotel experience i’ve ever had!! 😭  forgot
to mention howling dog from 6am onwards! 😩

worst experience of my life

We booked a room for 3 nights, using Hotels.com back in 12 July using hotels.com. Receipt of this booking was confirmed by Capital One Hotel and Hotels.com. I received communication from Hotels.com informing me that I had cancelled my booking with the hotel. I HAD NOT CANCELLED THIS BOOKING WITH ANYONE! Capital One Hotel say my booking is cancelled, and they have no rooms available for this date and I have no accomodation for my wife's birthday celebration. So I would send my experience as a caution to anyone considering booking the Capital One Hotel using Hotels.com as your booking agent.

Just because you've booked your room, it doesn't mean you will get a room!

Booked this hotel in April for a 3 night stay in sept for the air show hence I booked early. Then I got told today 2 weeks before the trip by the hotel that my trip was cancelled. Called the hotel to be told they never had the booking which is not true because we called last sat to confirm it was still available and have written confirmation. When we asked the manager if there was any rooms available was told they were fully booked. So clearly they has over booked and decided to cancel our booking. This it disgusting behaviour from a hotel. Now we have to find somewhere else

Capital one hotel in Bournemouth

Although a less expensive hotel and basic,it was fine for my needs and with lovely view of the sea from window and very nice breakfast too.what was exceptional was jamil  the manager.he helped with everything.nothing was too much trouble.give him 100%

Pleasant hotel with excellent manager

Good value for money for £48 as a base to stay, quite basic so it was fine for 1 night. Friendly staff, recently refurbished rooms, beds were ok. Warm clean and comfortable. Showers need looking at, hardly any water pressure. £10 additional fee for parking

Good location, basic room

Stayed here for 3 nights in september. The rooms are clean, great shower and fresh towels daily. The rooms are basic but have everything you would need. The location is perfect. Close to the beach, great restaurants and a local bar. It is quite hilly around here so you do need to be reasonably fit. For the good rate this hotel is fantastic and we would stay here again if we came to bournemouth

Excellent location. Great value

Great location, literally 5min stroll to the beach and 10mins to the centre. Room (no. 11) small, basic and a bit glum. Blackout curtains didnt quite fit the window. Window had to be held open by a chock of wood but too noisy to keep open at night. Single beds end to end. Bed was comfy, though I wouldn't dare look under the sheets as the base was very old and stained. Shower did the job but the head was a bit rubbish.

Staff were pleasant and did what was asked of them but the whole hotel needs a revamp. Some rooms had been refurbished and wouldn't have minded the price we paid for a nicer room but feel we should have been charged a lower late for the room given.

The £10 per night parking charge is a bit cheeky as it effectively bumps up the price of the room but its cheaper than other parking.

There's a spa shop, pub and a couple of nice restaurants within a couple of minutes walk if you don't want to walk to the town.

There's lots to do in Bournemouth so didn't spend much time in the room. If you're looking for a great location and are not fussed about quality accommodation its an OK hotel.

Location great, hotel room not so great

Absolutely shocking. I paid £100 for one night in a twin room. We ended up sharing a single bed as the other bed wasn’t fit to sleep in, you could literally see the springs poking through. Every time we turned the bathroom light/fan on there was a very strong burning smell. The shower barely got you wet, there was so little water coming out. The trickle that did emerge was either scalding hot or ice cold. The towels smelt horrible. We left our bags in reception for an hour the morning we left & when we went back for them we had to wait in a queue for 15 minutes as the manager had disappeared & people were waiting to check out.
A friend stayed in a different hotel nearby & for £52 got a room three times the size with a power shower!

Avoid at all costs

My husband and I visited here for the weekend. Brian and Pablo were very welcoming. Room was clean, shower was brilliant, wish I could have taken it home with me. Fridge was good, kept our lunch and wine cold all weekend. Plenty of parking and five minute walk to the BIC. Close to town and very reasonable prices. All in all a good place to stay for a weekend in Bournemouth. Thanks to all at Eurostay 😁

Weekend visit

What made our stay really fantastic is how helpful the staff are. We had a very warm welcome and the guy insisted on carrying my bags up the stairs. We were told that there is no room cleaning however if we needed anything doing they would do it i.e. extra coffee, shower gels, change of towels, which I prefer on a 3 night stay. Surprisingly the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was fine clean the room was clean. Loads of space to put our stuff. Really nice touch having a fridge in the room to keep our bottles of water cold. The top shelf in the wardrobe is really dusty in all three wardrobes however we didn't use it as it's too high to reach. I'm sure if we'd asked the guys would have been more that happy to help ! Made to feel very welcome
