This hotel is well run - very clean and comfortable in a great location. The price comes with a very good continental breakfast with above average quality preserves, biscuits, cheeses, ham, yoghurts etc.
Unfortunately they have a major plumbing problem...it's close to impossible to flush the toilets, the sink takes ages to empty as does the shower outlet. They should really invest in a good plumber asap!

Everything exceptional except the plumbing!

This is our third year in a row staying at Crossroads. A lovely hotel with clean and spacious rooms.
Rooms come with a fridge, microwave, iron, ironing board, safe, hairdryer, slippers. There is milk, orange juice, bottled water, yoghurts and fruit in the fridge, as well as meat and cheese for your continental breakfast. There is a tray with boxes of cereal, croissants, fruit and cereal bars on and there is also tea and coffee making facilities which are replaced every day.  The 2 little bottles of complimentary wine on arrival and a sweet on each pillow is a lovely touch and a welcome unexpected extra. There are also plenty of complimentary toiletries in the spotless bathrooms with lovely crisp white towels of all shapes and sizes.
Alex & Dennis are the perfect hosts and go out of their way to make you feel welcome.
There is parking out the front of the hotel or plenty of room along Grand Avenue. The location is perfect as just a short walk to Southbourne seafront and Southbourne shops the other way. 
All in all this hotel is just perfect and I cannot fault it in any way and highly recommend.

A LOVELY HOTEL

Had a great stay here, we told the hosts that we were vegan prior to arrival and wow they went to the most tremendous effort to accommodate us! Honestly so much food, they are very generous hosts.
Room was lovely and clean, just the right size for us (room 3), the bed was a little bit springy but that’s just a personal preference.
Location is great, had a lovely walk down to the beach and then along to Bournemouth pier. Took about 50 minutes and then got an Uber back which was around £8.
Free parking which was great, just be careful when pulling onto the drive as there’s a little dip which we ended up hitting a bit hard but that wasn’t a problem, just pointing out so you don’t make the same mistake as us!
Honestly can’t recommend this place enough though, really great, wouldn’t hesitate to return - thank you!!

Vegan friendly stay!

Couldn't fault the hosts, the room, the breakfast in any way. Alex and Denis could not do any  more, the accommodation oozed quality, the continental breakfast was more than we could eat, a lovely stay in a great area. We would have loved to return.

Exceptional

Excellent accommodation, attentive, kind hosts, Dennis and Alex were  brilliant.  Location to shops and beach ideal, only 5 minute walk to both.  We will definitely be going back to the Crossroads Hotel.  

Short break

A wonderful place to spend an evening, we would spend more time next time we are in Bournmouth. The roon was lovely and we had everything we needed for the breakfast plus a lovely touch of two small bottles of wine 

Overnight

Everything was nice and clean, professionals, very polite. Worth to stay there. Nice location. Very close to the seaside, only 5 mins walk. The room was pretty and the breakfast was good. We had a good stay. 

Nice stay

Spent three nights here in early August, had the two rooms on the top floor which were perfect.  The rooms were spotless.  I love being able to open as many windows as I want.  The breakfasts provided in the bedroom were above and beyond what was needed, we did take the bananas and apples to eat out at lunch. Hope that was ok! For a small hotel with six or seven bedrooms it was the best I have ever stayed in and not even overly expensive. It was a five minute walk to the beach at Southbourne.  One night we got the bus into Bournemouth had dinner and walked back along the front.  Thank you to the hosts who run a very well organised business but also appear laid back and trusting of complete strangers staying in their home.

Amazing small hotel

Cannot flat this hotel in any way! Alex and Dennis are the perfect hosts, the room was spotless and the continental breakfast generous with many extras 

It is perfectly located for the beach and shops with many choices for eating out. 
We will definitely be returning!

Exceptional value for money

Very dog friendly, they had a silver platter with dog biscuits on it waiting in the room for our Nelly. Lucy, the resident Dulux dog cannot wait to meet you! Dennis and Alex, your hosts are charming and very helpful. Accommodation is clean, comfortable and almost on the beach. Loved it!
