Booked here for stop of for one night room not clean blinds didnt work slates missing turned round by hand thick in dust  paint flaked all windows damp mould toilet and shower discusting. Did not stay booked somewhere else got nowhere with complaining so lost money paid through booking. Com

Oyo kingsley

Booked this hotel back in January 2020. Have had bad experiences with OYO (4 now, and never again). Rang OYO and the hotel the day before to confirm our booking and was told all was in order, payment had been made and they would see us the following day. On arrival after 150 journey, no booking found. In fact this hotel was no longer associated with OYO and hadn't been for the last 6 months. Reception area was filthy, could barely see through the glass, staff mentioned that someone had slept all night on the sofa in reception unaware if he was a guest or vagrant. Staff unable to help or find out what had gone on and tried calling booking.com but couldn't get through. I tried and got through immediately but then again I wasn't sitting behind the desk playing a game on my phone. Booking.com quite unhelpful, their advice was they could, if possible relocate us where we would have to pay AGAIN, and until we showed proof of payment via bank statements they could not start an investigation as to what was going on. In the end after me talking to an agent whilst another was talking to my wife and yet another was calling the hotel all about the same thing, we decided to find our own accommodation and found a very welcoming hotel a few minutes away

Bad experience

We turned up at the hotel and was ‘greeted’ by a young man who said reception would be back soon. After some time another young man gave us our key to our room. We ventured up the stairs that looked like a hoover had never seen the carpet on the stairs, there was a strong smell of someone smoking inside the hallway. 
Inside the room there was a towel on the bed that looked as though it had been used with stains over it. The blinds were broken and did not shut and were full of dust. The toilet was heavily stained as though it had never been cleaned, there was mould in the shower and all over the window seal. We could not stay here and frantically tried to find another hotel to stay in that night, which we eventually found.when we went back to reception to complain there was the same young man who said reception wasn’t there at the moment !
On contacting OYO after leaving ,they have said there is no confirmation of our booking so we are now trying to get our money back through booking.com. 
A terrible experience and an absolutely awful hotel

Booked this hotel for a quick cheap weekend getaway with my partner. 
Honestly the worst hotel I have ever stayed in my whole life. 
Reception area not kept well at all. Receptionist did not speak English very well. He was dirty looking and unkempt. 
Our room was a decent size. Broken wooden blinds at windows.dirty skirting boards, cobwebs in every corner. rubbish under the bed. 
Bathroom had brown stains up walls and skirting boards behind door, 
We checked in at 9pm. 
Our room was freezing cold. 
Radiator wouldnt work. Went and ask receptionist to come and inspect it. He informed me he would turn heating on. By 10pm heating still wasn't on so I went back down to reception to be told ut takes z while to turn on. I asked for additional blankets, he said he would bring some. But he left at 10 30 without trying to help us. The room was freezing cold. Didnt sleep good at all. Ended up sleeping in my coat. 
Next morning i went down to reception and spoke to same man as previous. He didn't apologise for lack of help previously. Informed me that there was nothing wrong with heating. Only I was having the problem. I brought him up to my room to show him. He said he would see what the problem was. At 7pm I went out to dinner and told him i wanted it fixed before I got in. He assured me it would be. Said there is a blown fuse. I returned to room around 9pm. Still no heating. The room was Colder than outside. The receptionist said he was going to go and get me a radiator and bring it withing the next half hour. 
This didnt happen. Another sleepless night due to being cold. 
On the last morning woke up to no hot water either. 
Noone on reception to complain to. I am not a fussy person. I dont mind budget hotels, but there are certain standards that needs to be kept and there was non here. 
They take peoples .only but do not care about the conditions they out them in. Just out to make a quick buck.

Avoid this hotel at all costs!!!
My husband booked this hotel in February 2020 for our 2 night stay on 21st & 22nd August 2020.
We phoned the hotel 10 days before our stay to ensure they were operational after lockdown to be told our booking was absolutely fine to go ahead.
We also received an email confirmation 3 days prior.
We traveled 4 hours to be told by the most unhelpful and rude receptionist I have ever encountered that despite us booking and paying for the room 6 months beforehand, that they had no recollection of our booking whatsoever but we could still stay if we payed again but only in cash!
We booked via booking.com and spent over an hour on the phone to them, we eventually got a refund and stayed at a different hotel. 
Please don’t waste your time! Appalling service!

Avoid!!!!!

Worst hotel we have EVER stayed in! The guy on reception had 0 customer service skills and couldn’t speak English.
The first room we were put in was disgustingly dirty - it had a punch hole in the wall, no curtains or blinds, no bed side cabinets, the TV didn’t work, the carpet was filthy, the skirting boards and corners of the room were so dusty and had definitely not been deep cleaned for COVID-19.

We then got a room change into a slightly better room after complaining but honestly the service provided by reception was terrible and the rooms are so poor that they’re not even worth £100, I’d be happy to pay £60 a night at a push. Stay clear from this hotel, spend a bit extra and stay somewhere else !!!

Dirty Hotel & Rude Staff

Booking confirmed through booking.com but cancelled upon arrival after a 5 hour journey with no apology or explanation.
Rude, unprofessional & obnoxious staff.
No hospitality skills or courtesy whatsoever.
The worst customer service experience imaginable but they openly didn't care or try to help in any way.
They should be shut down immediately.

DESPICABLE DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!

BE AWARE. TO BE AVOIDED AT ALL COST

We finally got to the hotel after a 4 hour journey. We had 2 rooms booked. We checked in and went up to our room. Our friends room got cancelled and they had to look for a different hotel last minute. I mist stress that the hotel didn't actually cancel the room but just over booked themselvs and just gave rooms to peope that got to thebhotel first. While waiting in reception for the other half of our party to find a room somewhere else the same thing happened to 4 more people. OUTRAGEOUS!!!

In the mean time we had looked at the room and made a very quick decision to check out imediatly as well. The room was very dirty, tight and smelling of smoke and sewage. Also the other guests looked like they were a day away from homelessness. 

I must also add that after this ridiculous  experience no appologie was given, no help or advice to find different accommodation... NOTHING!!! 

Apparently this hotel is famous in the area for screwing guests over.

Avoid at all costs

Booked a visit here for 2 nights from the 30th July until the 1st August, after driving for 3 hours to reach the hotel my partner attempted to pay for parking (the guy on reception was willingly about to take the money from him) then Decided to change his mind and inform us our room had been cancelled as they were “full” and that booking.com had been informed, finally got through to booking.com who told us they had not been informed at all! While discussing this back and forth with the hotel and booking.com (the hotel then changed their story and told booking.com that there were water issues with the room), another 2 group of visitors arrived and were both informed the same, however one of the groups were then given a room WHICH WAS DIRTY and so were then given ANOTHER room. It took us 5 hours to finally find a place in a local b&b, the last one we tried before we were going to head home. We then went for food on the evening and got talking to another couple who told us the same thing had happened with them except the hotel made a cock up and thought the couple had already payed (which they hadn’t, same as us as we were due to pay on arrival) so they were given a room. Although said couple did advise us that the room they were given was shocking. Will 100% never come to this hotel or advise anyone else to book here. Mr. Freda who was on the hotel reception at the time was incompetent, rude and very unprofessional, looked as though he had just walked in off the street. My guesses are that anyone who had booked a room to pay on arrival were told there were no rooms available so that they could then charge new visitors double the amount due to the lovely weather. Would give -10 if I could.

DO NOT BOOK

Turned up after a 5 hour drive to see this message on the door, when I rang the door bell to ask why as I had a booking, was told there were problems with the hotel and that there were no rooms. Was told to go away and ring a number (that had a dead dial tone) we sat in the car for 5 hours until we could find another hotel as we watched other customers walk in with their luggage. Can only assume they cancelled all bookings that were cheap and took advantage of the high rate last minute bookings on the hottest day of the year. You are a terrible hotel with dreadful morals and ugly behaviours in person. You ruined our 2 day stay that became a 1 day stay.
