This is our second visit to this very nice B & B. Elizabeth and Noel are very good and friendly hosts where nothing is too much trouble which comes across with the extra niceties like home made cake in the room each day. We stayed in the Kingsize bedroom which was very comfortable with a nice Bay window. The cooked breakfasts are all freshly made with plenty on the plate and homemade jams plus various cold servings of cereals or  fruit salads. The Southbourne sandy beach is just up the end of the road and is not as busy as Bournemouth beach itself. We will definitely return.

An Ace Bed and Breakfast

This is a truly lovely  place. Hosts Elizabeth and Noel were both very kind and helpful. I had a double with bath/shower combo, which was seaside themed. Nice touches fresh milk for tea/coffee and cakes in the  room.
Breakfast had a huge choice of cold and cooked items and was beautifully cooked. The hotel is within walking distance from the zig zag path, and the cliff lift to Southbourne beach, which is quieter than Bournemouth beach, which can get very crowded.
There are a couple of pubs nearby if you want a drink, but other places are better for food. Ask Elizabeth, who was very helpful at pointing out places to eat. There is plenty of parking at the hotel and free on the road nearby. There are bus stops to Bournemouth on the High St a shortwalk away and on the cliff Road to Boscome if you fancy leaving the 🚗 behind.
Tours can be taken from near the pier at Bournmouth to various sights for example, Corfe Castle and Durdle Door. Overall, it was a great place for a quiet, relaxing break with great hosts. 

Fantastic B&B hotel

Our hosts were very friendly and the breakfast was just perfect. We both found the beds comfortable and we had everything we could possibly need. We were even left homemade cakes in our room, in fact everything was either homemade or sourced locally. We have stayed in quite a few B&B's and this is definately one of the best.

A great place to stay in Bournemouth

Another perfect stay. Hosts are very welcoming.  The rooms spotless and breakfasts delicious. You even get cake in your room every day.  There's fresh milk to have with a great selection of tea/coffee in your room.

Outstanding. Fantastic. You could run out of superlatives. Wonderful hosts. Breakfast choices excellent,especially the large Dorset breakfast. The room was comfortable and spacious. Homemade cakes in the room  and biscuits  every night. The best B and B we have encountered

Very friendly hosts, nothing too much trouble.
Cleanliness was outstanding.
Rooms tastefully decorated in seaside theme.
Breakfast really tasty. The cake left in the room was a nice touch.
Don't miss out on the homemade jam, I bought 3 jars.

Lovely homely environment.... thanks so much for our fantastic fortnight. The breakfasts were amazing along with the dry banter from hosts/ owners - noel & Elizabeth & other guests.  Don't expect to loose weight  - fresh fruit salad and assortments of quality cereals & yohurts not forgetting the A4 double sided cooked menu - large Dorset breakfast......ummmmm

The added little touches in the room make it extra special..... biccie tin, afternoon cakes, fantastic furniture and bedding, small fridge with filter water jug to name but a few..... not to mention  the quality toiletries provided in the bathroom.

The only problem with sharing a review is that there may not be any vacacies next time we want  to escape.

Southbourne is fantastic -try duckies lunch lounge the kebab shop do a fabulous pizza,  the beach at the end of the road, easy to wander to boscombe & bournemouth & local buses very regular to various locations Poole, - boat trip a must to see around tbe island..Christchurch is wo derful, the church is stunning as are the bars & dunking stool !! and further afield to explore
We will be back.   Ooh the kippers are off the menu...

Fortnight at Southern breeze

We again enjoyed the hospitality and care of Elizabeth and Noel. Good accommodation and excellent food with the bonus of home made cakes each day in our room. The atmosphere in the property is relaxed and welcoming. A good experience.

A very pleasant stay.

We spent 3 nights at the Southern Breeze and the hosts were very friendly and helpful. The B&B was charming. Each morning we were given a wonderfully cooked full breakfast and also had the option of a selection of yogurts, cereal and fruit. Elizabeth and Noel left freshly baked treats in our room each afternoon. We were also just several minute walk from a lovely beach. I would highly recommend a stay here.
