My son stayed here whilst working nearby, the accomodation was lovely, everything you'd need in the flat.  2 bedrooms, bathroom, dishwasher all utensils and crockery etc the location was perfect. Nice quiet area. 

Perfect for working nearby

My husband and I booked into Berkshire rooms for the night when attending Ascot races. We were sent an email the day before giving us a code for the key deposit box which is located outside of the apartments (meaning there was no check in, we just arrived and collected our key).

The check in wasn't until 3pm, because was attending he races and would be arriving early. So I contacted the team and asked if it was possible to get into the apartment early. The gentleman I spoke to (don) was excellent and not only did the staff let us have early access free of charge, they also gave us a late check out. 

The apartment had everything we could possibly need on offer, there was a large living room, dining table, kitchen with all
Appliances (even a dishwasher and washing machine) there was a toilet and bathroom, a little office study, a double bedroom and a walk in wardrobe. Everything we could want was available to us. The TV even had sky installed! 

The apartment was quiet and we didn't hear or see any other residents. You are given your own car parking space right outside the rooms. The apartment was modern, clean, easily accessible and in a great location! 

We literally cannot praise the apartment and staff enough and would highly recommend to anybody needing accommodation in the area. It is 100% better then a hotel without a doubt. We will definitely use Berkshire rooms ltd again when returning to ascot.

10/10 stay, service and value for money 

I booked this apartment as an overnight during a Thorpe park visit.  Great communication and instructions from the management company concerning location Keys and parking.  Apartment was a reasonable distance from local amenities and was very clean.   Would definitely recommend 

Great place to stay

Stayed with wife and 3 small boys. nice open kitchen and plenty of space. The only negative is probably the glass dining table inside the room, with three young children we had to constantly be on the lookout to ensure they were nowhere near the table, maybe a wooden table would be better?

Brilliant stay

Booked this place because I wanted somewhere with kitchen facilities within walking distance of the town centre. There is no way my daughter would have walked into the town from the apartment.

Easy enough to find, there was only one (allocated) parking space which could have been difficult to find. Easy enough to get the key from the drop box once I had spoken to the company.

1st impressions were that the rooms were a good size but the carpets needed a deep clean as they showed the signs of previous occupants. There were a number of minor things that were broken and I guess the management don't inspect the properties regularly, relying on the punters to report problems.

The contents of the kitchen were very basic, most annoying thing for me was that there was no salt and pepper provided. Of course the cutting knives were blunt but just about usable.

Generally it was a quiet location to stay but not the '10 min walk to the centre' as advertised and really needed a deep clean and better inspection for problems/issues.

Have stayed in grays place several times over the last few years.  It is good if you want a self contained unit with washer and dryer.  Depending on which one you are allocated they are either up one or two flights of stairs so if mobility is an issue you might want to check on that or if Berkshire rooms has an alternative place somewhere else.  This time when we stayed the beds were shocking however we contacted the caretaker and he organised for another mattress to be brought to us within a couple of hours.  So if you have any problems you can be assured they will be fixed promptly which is a good thing to know.  They are clean and parking is easy but make sure you get the right bay or otherwise tenants can get annoyed.
