Well what can I say.. we stayed in the honeymoon suite, the word exceptional just sums up our stay, we stayed here as a birthday treat, the room was beautiful and the view was stunning. We had a jacuzzi bath tub in our suite and it was amazing. We sat on the sofa in the reception with a drink from the bar after a stroll outside, in front of a roaring fire. We had food at the on site Indian restaurant which was lovely. The staff are very attentive, after food we sat in a room just off reception which we had to ourselves, my husband asked for a cup of tea which was brought over, we also asked if it would be possible to have the TV on so we didn’t miss the football and the lady put it on for us, the lady was called Hannah, she was brilliant, nothing was too big an ask and she was very polite an helpful with everything, she should get a pay rise haha. The full breakfast in the morning wasn’t the best but everyone has their own preference and there are other things on offer to eat. Overall it was the most relaxing trip we have ever had, a friendly, warm atmosphere and we will be staying again. Thank You for our stay

Amazing 

Despite booking 3 rooms  months in advance for a birthday celebration, and contacting the hotel prior to our arrival , they messed up the booking. No keys ready for any of the rooms despite there being a pile of others  sitting on the reception desk. And I was assured  twice by someone called Darren that my request to have the 3 rooms as close together on the first floor ( I was aware there was no lift), and I was nursing a knee injury would be accommodated, this was a total  falsehood, as the rooms we were  eventually allocated were two rooms on separate corridors on the top floor, and one down on the first floor.We couldn't have been further away from each other if we had  tried, and the double set of stairs were a  real trial  for me. However we  were met with total indifference at the reception  desk when we queried it, and were offered a room with a sofa bed  instead,sorry but after booking months in advance,  I didn't want a 'make do' room I wanted what I booked. The room itself was well presented, and clean, though our bin hadn't been emptied , and a rotten bath panel with peeling paint was unsightly, how much would it cost to replace, very little I would imagine ? The receptionist doubled up as the bar tender never have I seen this in a larger hotel before, so you had to go to the reception desk to call someone every time you wanted a drink.The saving grace and the reason I give 3 stars , was the excellent  service, and Indian food in the on site restaurant, and a decent breakfast the following morning.The rest needs some serious reorganisation,in order to  to bring it up to a standard that most people would expect.

Bonkers Booking System.

I stayed here five years ago and the first thing I noticed when dining here recently, was the faded decor and rather shabby interior. The place needs a jolly good re-vamp and considerable investment. Having said that, our Indian dinner was excellent, staff were attentive, friendly and efficient and we left feeling very satisfied. No idea if the bedrooms are tired and/or faded, but it’d be a great pity if they are - money needs to be spent on this place.

Needs investment, but food very good.

Our home from home, we go every year and love everything about the place. In house restaurant makes it worth the trip on its own! Massive room, fantastic location and great value. Staff are always very welcoming and helpful.

Wonderful place

Visited here in August, with my wife and son (aged 7).  We prefer quiet settings, and the rural nature of the Manor was a big draw, though I did have some concern about staying in place that advertises itself as a wedding venue.  Those concerns were quickly dispelled.  During our stay, a large wedding was hosted, they had a great time, but the management had the advanced foresight to assign us as a family to the opposite side of the building.  All was quiet!

We’d elected to stay our entire week in Wales at Colman, seeing it as a good base from which to visit any number of wonderful places easily accessible as we’d rented a car.  After a few days one gets a “sense” of the place.  It’s a calm, comfortable setting.  Note that the building is centuries old.  That’s part of the charm!  It may also mean the odd loose tile, creaky door, or flake of paint?  If you’d wanted the Mayfair, you’d be in London, wouldn’t you?
  
The building is a treasure, and the staff bring it to life.  Our room was cozy and well appointed, and the housekeeping staff were discreet and took good care. The manager was delightful – thoughtful, gracious, and helpful at every encounter.  Even showed our son some of the “secrets” of the old building, which of course delighted the boy.  He was also a font of information on Welsh culture and history, and the history of the Manor. 
 
We chose the breakfast package.  Plenty of hot and cold choices, it was stellar at every turn.  To the staff who prepared and served – thanks for that!

Can’t recommend Court Colman Manor more highly.  Could go on and on, but all around this place is a gem.  I’d certainly stay again if in south Wales, and extend my thanks to all the good folk at Court Colman who assured that I and my family had such a lovely holiday.


Yes this is the one you were after.  

Hotel is very tired and needs a complete refurb, especially toilets, corridors and bedrooms. Bedroom was cold and damp on arrival and radiator slow to warm up. Quite a bit of black mould/damp on walls and in bathroom. Bathroom shower tray cracked, sink so narrow you can barely use it and mirror lights not working so quite dark. Went to get breakfast which sounded quite nice but couldn’t get waitresses attention so no tea/ coffee or cooked food. Had to settle for something from the small selection of cereals and toast. Usual commercial toaster, either gave warm bread or incinerated it! Staying on business, and internet in public areas ok but barely a connection in bedroom and kept dropping out. Won’t be staying again.

Fealty Towers would be a better place to stay!

Great place to stay, the Moroccan room was lovely especially the spa bath. The restaurant gave us a lovely dinner experience with attentive staff and great food. Breakfast was well organised. A restful stay. We will be back 😊

Lovely hotel

An absolutely gorgeous night at a stunning hotel manor, we stayed in the honeymoon suite and it lived up to all the expectations. The service from start to finish was warm friendly and always helpful. We had food at the Bokhara and the food was so delicious and the staff so friendly and  went above and beyond . I can't recommend court colman manor enough. We went to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary and it was just perfect . 10/10 

Fully recommend this beautiful stay

A lovely location off the beaten track, although perfect for our brief work stays. 

I agree with some of the comments regarding  updates are required in a few places, however given the size of the property this must be a massive task for the owner. 

The Indian restaurant was fabulous as were all of the staff, and I wouldn’t have a hesitation at staying here again in the future.

Work Visit

Stayed last night lovely Manor House room was lovely Bluetooth mirror is a nice touch had a lovely view of the front gardens. The Indian restaurant is amazing best curry we have had and also the English breakfast in the morning  also lovely ☺️ staff are all very friendly will definitely be back and recommending to friends and family
