This is a very good, classic Inn. The rooms are very well appointed and comfortable. The food and drink are good quality and very reasonably priced. But what sets this hotel apart is the family atmosphere created by the owner and the very high standard of staff all of whom were invariably helpful, engaging and efficient.

The three of use had different meals and all thought they were great meals although a bit pricey for instance £6.50 for a pint of San Miguel
The pub itself has a great atmosphere and very clean the good thing about this place is the staff they were very attentive and very pleasant

Came to the bridport arms for a Mother’s Day meal with my husband and two sons the food was outstanding the texture and quality was 10/10  presentation and atmosphere was just lovely we felt very welcome and certainly will be returning again.

Amazing roast

We stayed the night at short notice en route to Cornwall. A really lovely spot to stop off, the hotel has been refurbished since we last stayed and it’s a huge improvement. The room was really attractive with luxury touches and a really comfortable bed. Our room was directly over the pub so I guess it could be noisy in season but was no trouble in February. The breakfast was very tasty and the staff were really friendly. Would certainly return.

Stopover to Cornwall

Amazing stay.

Staff welcoming and friendly.
Lovely pub that has been carefully modernised to a great standard whilst keeping its charm.
Location bang on the beach and great for walks and seeing the area.
Food was excellent especially the Friday Fish deal which was great value and quality!
Room was spacious with quality linen, powerful shower and lovely bath. 
Lovely small touches like a coffee machine, phone charges and fresh milk all provided in the room.

Great stay

The room was immaculate pristine & clean, lovely comfortable bed. The food was tasty & filling, the service was very friendly & helpful. We highly recommend staying here. The carpark at the side of the hotel is free

The Bridport Inn, West Bay

Absolutely loved our stay. This was our second stay here and was even better than before! Staff are friendly, professional and could not do enough to please. Room 7 is huge and offers incredible sea views. The linen provided is of a high standard. Dyson hairdryer and quality products are supplied throughout. The bed is one of the most comfortable I have slept in and the breakfast delicious!! A range of options available including cold meats, cheese, smoked salmon, cereals, pastries and hot eggs and bacon cooked to your liking!! Will definitely be planning a return visit!! 

Just perfect!

The rooms are very nicely refurbished.  Great bed lovely sheets and  big pillows and cushions. Had a fridge safe milk in fridge and water very good and a bottle opener. 
Bathroom very nicely done up good shower towels and toiletries   .
Lovely hair dryer Dyson and dressing table.  Good lights.
I loved the spiral stair case. Spacious room nice blinds. Good tv. 

Good location beach

At the last minute - our 2 night honeymoon stay fell through elsewhere. Lucky us because we found this delightful place nestled right on the beach. All the staff were charming and helpful. 

We understand that everything had been refurbished recently and it seems that is to a high standard. The Nespresso, Dyson, White Company and other beautiful branded items were everywhere. I think our room was the superior sea view on 2 floors, it was huge. 

The bed was comfy and the duvet/sheets fresh, the bathroom was beautifully designed and finished to a high standard and the little touches of interesting teas and coffee made all the difference. 

Again the breakfast had unusual and thoughtful little touches particularly the little jars of pickles which I think were homemade, the tiny little orange beetroot were best for me. Everything felt clean, generous and healthy. The croissants looked amazing though not too excited about the flavour. The sourdough bread was incredible. I've never understood all the excitement over this 'lockdown' bread but wow...this one was a revelation.

Eat in the restaurant too, the mussels sublime and the fish special was Witch sole - gorgeous.

Perhaps we shouldn't be raving about this place because I'm quite sure that this time next year there will be no last minute August rooms available and we'll be unable to get a room or indeed a table at this wonderful place. 

A last minute lucky find!

What a difference. The new management team has made. Our last visit was pretty awful and so we were a little bit nervous that this was the only accommodation we could get for a friends 60th birthday party. We were mightily surprised!
The bar / restaurant area is now immaculately clean under the room that we had was modern, well furnished and very comfortable. The breakfast was hearty with a very good selection available.
Our compliments to the new management team, we most certainly would stay again. The team were friendly, polite and added to a great experience.
