Several apartments booked with safe parking and good wifi worked well for a hen party. Sadly other than that not a comfortable stay. Apartments unclean and poorly maintained. Visible dust on surfaces and crumbs on the floor on arrival, very loose bathroom door handle, broken chair, bathroom sink that didn't drain, frying pans and baking trays greasy with surface scratched off in places.

Excellent – good facilities, nice rooms, clean and comfortable. 
Plenty of takeaways nearby and some shops. Only a 10-15minute walk from the city centre and several bus stops nearby. Gated parking available as an extra. 
Only downsides - Neighbouring guests can be noisy at times and patio needed swept/tidied.

Nice clean flat

Although located in a rougher area of Bristol, I never felt at risk. The apartment is in a gated complex so is very secure. Despite being on a main road, it was also not noisy. My only issue was with other renters coming home in the middle of the night in a merry state and causing some noise but it was short lived. The apartment was very tastefully decorated and was extremely clean. Beds were comfortable and the table was set for us on arrival. Although it is self catering, there are lots of shops and take-aways nearby at reasonable prices.  Parking costs extra but was worth it as is also in the secured area.  I would definitely book here again.

Lovely Spacious Apartment

We rented out the apartments. The kitchen is awfull very dirty glass table and all around the kitchen everything is sticky:( the fridge is dirty .Bed room old dirty smells like long time don’t been clean . The garden full of rats :( you can’t seat outside at all
I’m not sure how can be 4 star but definitely gonna contact a local authority about this . Is not right !!

Extremely dirty

The apartments were more than adequate for our particular group (stag party) . They were reasonably clean and the apartments we stayed in were well maintained. I probably wouldn’t stay here with family as the surrounding area is pretty rough. We had no issues however as we used taxis to get around. Was a bit disappointed upon arrival to learn that our apartment booking had changed (was advised that this was stated in T’s and C’s) but as a group of 13 men, it meant some had to sleep on sofas as not enough beds were available.

Apartments good, area rough, overall adequate experience

Liked · The beds were really comfortable and the pillows were lovely. The location is great (noisy as its on the main road right next to a bus stop but you get used to it really quickly) and there's a number of shops around making it easy to get food etc. The parking is expensive for private land but as its limited in space there lies the premium, but awesome as it is private behind gates and you reserve a space ahead of time. Theres a tablet where you enter all your details and can get location advice, order food in etc. They have video instructions on the tablet of how to use the appliances, which I think is brilliant and I haven't seen before.
As I said in the email to the management, the facilities are brilliant and you get the basics to cook efficiently, the decor is done well and it is like a home from home in that respect but the lack of cleanliness really really let it down.

Disliked · The kitchen had been very lightly cleaned as the worktops were still throwing dirt up on wipes, the microwave had left over food plastered in it (fish with some kind of sauce), the power plugs were sticky and dirty, sink had some sort of dirty residue in it, the oven rack had left over food stuck to it as did the glass. There was even complimentary tea stains on the wall by the bin. In the bathroom the shower head was mouldy and broken so could only have it on one setting else it sprayed in every direction possible, the floor was visibly dirty as it is white so there's no escaping it. The bath has nothing on the bottom to stop you slipping over, no bumps on the bottom or rubber mat. All of which we cleaned ourselves as the only option management provided was to check out and due to it being so late in the day and having a very early hospital appointment in the morning, it wasn't possible (especially with two child with it). These were all things that were easily cleanable for housekeeping but apparently quite a few of those things are only done in the deep clean.

Very low cleaning standards, wasn't cleaned properly at all. Food splattered in microwave & more.

Despite the website stating the precautions followed during a pandemic the flat we stayed in was NOT clean. In fact it was quite filthy. Finding a used condom under one of the beds was my last straw! Wall behind the garbage bin was splashed with muck, a previous guest had spilt something down the wall behind the dining table and this had not been cleaned, mirrors were streaked, bathroom was surface clean but filthy with a little further inspection. Fridge was tiny and froze our food. No explanation for how to use appliances or heating was provided. 

We stayed for an extended period out of necessity. I needed to purchase air freshener and cleaning products - including a broom, as the supplied vaccum barely worked. 

For an initial 2 week stay there was the bare minimum supplied - when we extended for another two weeks not once were we offered any extra supplies (despite paying for a SERVICED apartment)  - no cleaning was offered (we are now staying at a serviced apartment in a brand new building where cleaning happens once a week and ample of everything is supplied - we were also greeted and given a quick tour and shown how to use appliances etc)

No explanation of how to gain access was supplied at the time of confirmation - so I had to ring and chase up the information. This consisted of calling someone for an access code and this person insisting on briefing me on the wifi etc as I was trying to gain entry to the car park, instead of in writing somewhere. 

And on top of all of the above these flats attract the bucks party crowd so we were subjected to a number of nights where people above us partied ALL night, keeping us and our child awake. We were assisted once when we called their ‘accident’ number and that person called the other tenants to ask them to stop jumping on the floor above. But who to call at 3am?! 

The entrance to our flat was through the smoking area so it stunk and every time the external door opened it sounded like someone was entering our flat. 

When we did extend our stay we were treated respectfully by management who waited for payment while we sorted out transferring money from overseas. 

Best thing about this place was the secure parking. The area has a vibrant local community which was really great to observe and visit. For the other reviewers saying how dangerous the area was - not true - there are just a lot of black people (big Somali, Ethiopian and Caribbean community) which obviously freaks some people out. Very close to the city centre and great bus service along Stapleton road too.

COVID clean?! I don’t think so!

The area is very rough (Police were a constant presence). We paid for parking and we were very pleased that our car was behind locked gates. There are lots of take away-food places nearby if you dare to go out after dark, we did not. 

Our flat was small andpoorly maintained. The property was surface clean to look at, but sticky and lots of dirty finger marks and splashes. The internet signal was patchy and the tv reception poor, making it impossible to watch at times. The settee was very uncomfortable, all but the middle seat felt like they were broken and the main living area was very dark which meant you had to have the lights on during the day. The fridge had the main drink/milk shelf missing, the oven did not seem to keep its temperature and the washing machine sounded like it was taking off on the spin cycle.
After 2 nights we booked into a hotel, to get some home comfort.
The bed was reasonable and the bedroom was fairly light. The water in the bathroom was not very hot and the smell of drains came into the room, however, we purchased some bleach and air fresheners and this disguised the smell.
On the plus point the heating worked well and it is driving distance to the city centre. For us it was a waste of money as we had to book several stays at various hotels, as we were so unhappy staying in this apartment. We chose this apartment as I am disabled with mobility problems and the apartment was in the right area for us and on the ground floor, with onsite parking and only a few steps to the front door. The apartment had a shower that seemed to work ok, although small with a high step into it. I did not use it, overall the ensuite was tiny. The two storage cupboards were damp and there was no airer to dry washing on.

I phoned several days in a row asking for things to be repaired, each time the office assured me the maintenance team had been advise, yet there was no improvement in the smell, nor was the washing machine fixed. We put the washing machine on in the evening and the horrendous noise was still present. The noise made it impossible to stay in the living room. We started to look for alternative accommodation at this point and I called the office to complain again and was advised the machine had been fixed and the issues sorted and that they would be making no further repairs.
Having a brain injury I got irritate with the lady from the office, the next day we received a letter to leave within 24 hours.
Luckily for us we were able to find a far more comfortable apartment in a nicer part of town - Clifton  - through a company called Yourapartment.com - who I would highly recommend.



Don’t waste your money

We are staying here now. This apartment is so cosy and comfortable. We are about a 15 minutes walk into town and buses are available too. The apartment is so clean and everything you would need is available. The beds are very comfortable and even though on a busy road, we slept like babies. Definitely recommend. Great for families. My daughter has her own room and loves it. The staff are all really friendly and helpful.we are on ground floor and have a small terrace. Love it!

Comfortable & Cosy

Clean, spacious with good facilities and everything as described. Value for money. 
We stayed for two nights and really couldn’t fault anything. 
The area was a bit rough but the apartments are off the main road with its own parking with high secured gating that’s perfect and probably needed for the area. I would stay here again and recommend the place to anyone
