Where to start with this hidden gem! The bridge farmhouse really is beautiful in every way- the house, the grounds, the stream and the convenient location makes it perfect for city dwellers looking for peace and relaxation. We had three families living at this farmhouse yet there was so much space that everyone had their ‘me time’ too. The children thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful stream that flows through the spacious back garden. The house itself is adorned with picture frames, vases a grandfather clock and various little ornaments that really gives the farmhouse it's charm! Each room is done up to detail with decor and every room as a spacious ensuite. The tea room cafe around the front of the property was also very charminge. What more could families ask for? This is one property we hope to return to again and again! Thank you to Ido and Allison for making our staycation so amazing. Also a big thank you to Richard who was always available when needed.

A hidden gem - scenic and peaceful!

We had a weekend stay here with a large group of friends and it couldn't have been better.  The rooms are comfy and each have an en suite so no bathroom squabbles!  
There was space for all 18 of us to fit round the dining table and the outside table too and plenty of living areas to escape to if you need to.  The kitchen is really well equipped too.
The garden is beautiful, perfect for sunny afternoons with a Pimms and the scones on arrival were a very nice touch.
Ido and his team were very helpful beforehand in getting us booked and organising the logistics and I couldn't have asked for a better stay.
I am looking forward to my next big birthday so we can return!!

Fantastic house for a group stay

Clean and tidy well appointed self catering accommodation in tastefully converted barn. Quiet location, handy for visiting Salisbury and surrounding area. 
The accommodation is relatively versatile, including one large bedroom on the ground floor with ensuite walk-in shower room. Towels and soap, also kitchen detergents etc for dishwasher, all supplied. Would recomend.

Excellent accommodation - delightful location

We stayed at Bridge Farmhouse with a group of 18 for a 30th birthday party. When we arrived, we immediately felt so at home and cozy in the house, with a fire already lit for us in one of the reception rooms. Overall, it was just a beautiful house on beautiful grounds (better than the pictures!) We loved that there were ensuites for all the bathrooms, it made it really easy traveling with a large group of people. The kitchen was also well equipped, with another oven in addition to an AGA and a huge fridge and freezer. We also loved the bar area with its own drink fridge in the dining room! 

It was a lovely short walk into salisbury to have a stroll around the old city, and nice that it was close enough to town to easily get a takeaway on the Saturday. 

We couldn't have asked for a better stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone else traveling for an event. The only issue I had throughout the process was having to transfer via bank payment for the stay rather than paying on a credit card, which isn't something I would typically be comfortable with, but I understand it's a small business and overall the stay was great value for money. Thank you!

Great

A wonderful farmhouse in a stunning location with beautiful surroundings, including a gorgeous garden to the rear with a shallow river which can be safely paddled in. Huge reconstructed table in the front garden, where our large party enjoyed breakfast and relaxing in the sun.  All bedrooms are en-suite with very comfy beds, spacious and beautifully decorated to match the period.  The kitchen has everything you need.   The formal dining room and relaxing living rooms gave lots of options for socialising.  Very friendly and welcoming hosts, who are also able to provide outside catering services, which are amazing. 
Only a 20 minute scenic walk into the town, past the cathedral.  Highly recommend this venue for any special celebrations with family / friends. 


Fabulous Farmhouse

Fantastic venue that more than comfortably catered for our party of 18. Phenomenal hosts made for an extra special stay to celebrate a 60 birthday. Homemade scones and jam on arrival a real treat. Best nights sleep ever as super comfy beds and all rooms had en-suite facilities. Wonderful location with stunning view of stream - even managed to paddle board! Meals sourced locally included delicious pizza from Nole and in-house catering on our second evening courtesy of Ethan and his team from the excellent Pembroke Arms. Accommodation boasts  a reclaimed outdoor HUGE dining table as well as an internal dining room. Perfect weekend for catching up and raising a glass or two!

Little bit of heaven…

A fabulous location to celebrate a 60th birthday with 16 friends. A great space indoors and out. 
Close to so many local attractions and only a 20 minute walk to the fabulous cathedral city.
All rooms in the house really comfortable and in keeping with the period property and you’ll be fighting for the best bedrooms all of which are en-suite !!
The shallow river in the garden was perfect for paddle boarding novices and the massive round garden table sitting 20plus people was great for breakfast and to just sit and chat.
If you can’t be bothered to cook then we did takeaway pizza from Nole (not to be missed) and used the farmhouse’ 3rd party catering for an amazing dinner.
This place is a must for a long weekend break with family or friends. We’ll be back for sure. Thanks so much to the owners for the scones and the welcome.

The Best Big Stay House

We stayed at Bridge Farmhouse with a group of friends for a special birthday celebration. We had a fabulous time. The house is spectacular with spacious rooms, an amazing dining space, a fully equipped kitchen and gorgeous gardens next to the river. The location is great with an easy walk into Salisbury and close to lots of great walks and attractions. The owners were so welcoming and on hand for anything we needed. The catering is highly recommended - we had a fabulous meal on one of the nights. We also enjoyed amazing sourdough pizzas from Nole pizza. All in all a truly memorable experience - highly recommended.

Amazing place!

This is our third time staying at Bridge Farm. Different events each time. Weekend with friends, 50th wedding anniversary, 60th birthday party. It is just perfect and the most relaxing weekend. Great location, fabulous venue and a lovely welcome from the owners. Would suit a summer event or a cosy winter retreat. Plenty of space for family or friends. We love it!

Just a beautiful weekend away

We have just come back from a 3 night weekend stay.

This was a surprise 80th Birthday present with 20 family members present, and oh what a place.

The house and gardens are beautiful with all rooms en-suite.

We arrange for outside catering on the Saturday night, and Norma and her 2 waitress were excellent. We had a 3 course meal which was outstanding.

I can not recommend this place highly enough, and would definitely like to return.
