We visited in early April and stayed with friends from Australia,who were on their first trip to North Wales. The guest house has lovely bedrooms and are hosts Mark and Jean were most welcoming.  A planned trip on the Snowdon Mountain railway did not happen due to high winds, but Mark recommended visiting the National slate museum in Llanberis, which  was a very good alternative. As we  were travelling in an electric car the on site charging offered made Bryn Bella a very good choice    We  plan to come back  when the Snowdon railway is operating.

Bryn Bella - a good choice for our short stay in Betwys-y-Coed

We spent a wonderful three nights in this fabulous guest house and could not have been made to feel more welcome. 

We had room 5 on the first floor which apart from having a stunning view, was spotless, spacious and complete with every amenity including tea, coffee, safe, microwave with crockery, should you wish to heat up your own food, numerous towels, drinking water, toiletries, tissues, shower caps, towelling robes and even a tray for dirty boots. There was a guest fridge on the landing outside the bedroom door, which was excellent to keep a bottle of chilled wine for when we came home after an evening meal in one of of the lovely restaurants in Betws-y-Coed. There was also  a wide selection of fruit teas.

Delicious fresh fruit, juices, cereals yoghurt and cold meats were provided in the breakfast room , followed by a beautifully cooked hot breakfast. I am wheat intolerant and having advised them of this when we booked,  was offered gluten free bread, cereal  and sausages, which was such a bonus.

We would have no hesitation in recommending Bryn Bella Guest House and would certainly return if we come back to the area.

Relaxing 3 night stay in Betws-y-Coed

This was our 7th stay at Bryn Bella, and definitely won’t be our last. We love coming here, Mark and Joan Edwards are the most wonderful hosts one could ask for. They make us feel so welcome and we see this as a home away from home. Room 5 is our favorite room in the house. Till next time! xx

Thank you to Mark and Joan for a very enjoyable time.   Our hosts were very welcoming, giving guests advice and we enjoyed our chats very much putting the world to rights!    Breakfast was beautifully laid out with a wide range to choose from.   The room was well appointed with unusual extras such as a microwave and wine glasses.   No hesitation in recommending Bryn Bella and we hope to be back sometime.

We have returned from such a beautiful stay at Bryn bella. The location is stunning , Room 5 is massive, so clean and has the most beautiful view out the window of the woodland and hills. The breakfast was amazing and had so much to choose from they even got my soya milk in so I could have my morning coffee. The owners were so friendly and a pleasure to talk to. A warm friendly welcome. We stayed in room 5. King size very spacious room and bathroom. Clean & comfortable. 

Plenty of choice at breakfast. Everything was very well presented, fresh and delicious. 

Lovely outside area to enjoy a glass of wine with a beautiful views. Walking distance to Betws y coed. 

Couldn't fault it. A lovely stay and would recommend to friends and family wishing to explore the area. Thank you both.

I recently stayed at Bryn Bella Guest House for three nights and had an amazing time. The location is perfect for exploring the surrounding area and the guest house itself is beautiful. The room was spacious and clean with a comfortable bed and a large shower room. The breakfast was fresh and delicious with plenty of options to choose from. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. Highly recommended!

A Relaxing Getaway at Bryn Bella Guest House

Bryn Bella is situated in a great position so close to many amenities and provides awesome views. We received a very friendly welcome and amazing service . We enjoyed the fresh breakfast and all the thoughtful touches . Microwave , guest fridge , patio furniture , water …

Welsh hospitality at its best

Perfect hosts, very welcoming, friendly, and hospitable. 

The beds were very comfortable in a spacious bright room with a fabulous view.

The sunny dining room was exceptional as was the breakfast.

Highly recommend. We would definitely stay again!


Like staying with friends

My wife and I had a fantastic two night stay at Bryn Bella over the recent weekend.
The location is great for a short walk into Betws-y-coed and the stunning walks around the area.
Our room, room 5, was impressive. Large with a substantial shower room and most importantly, impeccably clean. Waking up to the view outside the window reminds us to get out of the city more often to see places like this. The breakfast was also great with a choice of cooked or an array of cold buffet options.
Mark and Joan are exceptional hosts and clearly love what they do and where they are.
We'll definitely return.
