Just got back after a 3 night stay,such a lovely traditional place.Nigel was so accommodating and friendly
The room was spotless and the bed super comfy,the breakfast was hearty ,big and set us up for the morning
The setting is wonderful and quiet and right by the stunning Dolgoch falls
We'll be back

Lovely place with people

I booked direct with Nigel, the owner, who confirmed booking (and my request for an extra night) quickly. 

We felt very welcome and the huge breakfast set us up for the day. 

Our room was bright and clean. Twywn is only a few minutes drive away and the Dolgoch Falls and Talyllyn Railway are each about 5 minutes walk away. Hope to go back soon.

Clean, quiet and great value

Stayed here while working in Tywyn for 2 nights, on arrival the welcome was friendly. The room was very clean with plenty of tea and coffee available, quiet location so good night's sleep. My single room had en suite shower, TV etc. Included in the was an excellent full breakfast, the host was very attentive and would definitely recommend. The surrounding area is beautiful plenty of walks available from the hotel. Also a good few pubs for evening meals etc.

Dolgochhotel well worth a visit.

This was our second stay at The Dolgoch, it’s a lovely place to stay and Nigel remembered us from last year and the reason why we were there. The room was clean and tidy and the breakfast was great, Nigel couldn’t do enough for us. The waterfall trail behind is lovely and the scenery is breathtaking, we love it there and wi back again next year

Lovely B&B, would definitely recommend staying

lovely little cafe to rest and refresh after a view of the falls. Lovely food and a warm welcome from staff as well as gorgeous food and cakes that melt in the mouth. I highly recommend a visit if you go to the falls

A welcome stop after the falls

Delightful stay in an incredibly beautiful spot 
Hosts were excellent and breakfast a real treat
Parts of the property date back to the 13th century the main building being 19th century my single room was charming and I was lulled to sleep by the incredible peace 
Will definitely return when I am able

A delightful break

The Dolgoch B&B is well situated if you like easy walks. If you want to enjoy the Talyllyn Railway, there is a station behind the B&B.  The rooms are basic but very nice, the B&B is quiet and the breakfasts are superb as are the hosts Nigel and Jie. 
They also have a tea room with very nice outdoor seating. 
The property is out of town, but it's a short drive to pubs and restaurants.

Great out of town place to stay with great nearby walks and excellent inn keepers.

We popped into the tea rooms for lunch and so pleased we did. It was a lovely day and we sat in the beautiful garden. The owners Nigel and Jes were friendly  and welcoming. We ordered coronation chicken which came with salad and crisps, and a nice cup of tea, it was amazingly, Thank you both for an enjoyable relaxing lunch, we will definitely be back soon.

Lovely Tea Rooms in a Perfect Location

Absolutely loved our stay here! The rooms have every basic that you need and the host is really welcoming! The rooms were clean and the view of the mountains was stunning! The location is ideal to get to the coast or to see some great local sights.

The breakfast was sensational and well cooked. Honestly already planning my next trip there!

Very poor tea rooms. Overpriced, bought in dry cakes, the worse scones ever. Milkshakes nothing like they were in the picture advertised. It’s a shame as this used to be a lovely little tea room when the previous owners had it, and lovely fresh cakes . Nothing at all Welsh about it either. How about a nice freshly baked Welsh afternoon tea on the menu? Could be a great little place with a little effort.
