We had a wonderful time staying in this beautiful cottage with our two young daughters. It was a stunning environment, tranquil surroundings and a beautifully styled and appointed cottage, with a gorgeous pool. The hosts were magnificent, allowing our daughters to help feed the pigs, collect fresh eggs from the chickens and play with their very sweet dog. Exactly what we needed. Would love to visit again.

Truly wonderful stay

We arrived latish on Friday night around 8.30 and were met by the hosts Fiona and Matthew with a warm welcome.  We were shown the property, pool, pool room and heating and then left alone entirely for the weekend.  The facilities are lovely - The Coach House itself immaculately and beautifully furnished whilst feeling like a perfect comfortable retreat.  The pool and pool room were fantastic for our son and our little dog who was able to chill out with us without risk of him disappearing to explore on his own.  He made a new friend in one of the house dogs who took a shine to us.  Lovely stay.  Thank you so much Fiona and Matthew.

Lovely welcome for a weekend trip

Great place to stay to visit Bath Stonehenge wells Weston super mare and more great location lots to do and see cottage we stay d at was ideal for what we wanted. We did all different trips out longleat is 31 miles away every thing close by

We have just returned from our second "girls weekend away" at the Coach House. Once again everything was perfect! Fiona and her family are always very welcoming and accommodating and the house and grounds/facilities are cosy, comfortable and homely! We can't fault anything and can't seem to stop coming back!!

Fantastic!

What a fantastic place to stay this is!  We have recently returned from a fabulous week at The Coach House and enjoyed every second of it.  The cottage is perfectly placed to visit lots of different locations.  We managed trips to Lacock, Castle Combe, Bristol, Avebury, Devizes (Caen Hill and Wadworth Brewery Tour) and Bradford on Avon.  The cottage itself is fabulous and has everything you need.  We were really lucky with the weather and managed to make use of the pool and tennis courts.  Also made use of the BBQ and outdoor sitting area in April.  These facilities really are a bonus.  We loved the setting the cottage was in and found the walks across the field to the local pub (The Westbrook) really easy; even for a 30 week pregnant woman.  Views from the balconies were outstanding and we were wowed from the minute we walked in.  Overall the property is furnished and decorated to a high standard, though some areas could possibly use a bit of a touch up.  Fiona and Matthew are so welcoming and friendly, they are really helpful and answer and questions or solve problems you have. 
 The help even extends to fishing wedding rings out of the swimming pool.  You get so much privacy even though the cottage is on their property.  We particularly loved the resident dogs, one of which sat outside the cottage door waiting for us to come out and throw sticks for her.   All in all a fantastic place to stay and we look forward to returning in the future with the growing family.

Absolutely Perfect

Excellent property with everything we needed.. Beautiful decor. Dog friendly. Very comfortable beds. Fantastic walks in the charming village and woodland. Very helpful owners.Local pubs excellent. Bath 30 mins drive away. We'll be returning.
