Lovely comfy bed, memory foam mattress!  Owners are down to earth, lovely and friendly.  Our room was  ensuite and although small there was plenty of room for us, room was spotlessly clean!!! Room was at the back of the building so we didn't hear noise at night, very peaceful nights sleep.  Parking was not a problem either as we used the churches carpark behind the guest house. Breakfast was full scottish, cooked to perfection with plenty to eat, so much there was no need for lunch :)  Wee hint, if your going to stay here, phone and book directly for best prices. Overall one of the best BBs we have stayed in! 10 out of 10 from us.

The Wellhouse

Had an overnight stay here with Family & was met by Frances who couldn't do enough for us, we didn't know the area so she suggested a few places for us to go.  There was no parking in the street but we managed to park across & up a bit.
 We went down for breakfast in the morning & I have never had a breakfast as big in years so make sure you are hungry.
 I also left something important in the room & phoned when I got home to say & Frances said no problem I will post it out to you ( I have received it thanks ) panic over . She was a gem. 

Friendly

Right in the centre of town although no parking there's plenty of carports close by.
Room I had was very comfortable, tea and coffee making facilities, television and free Wi-Fi. Really enjoyed the breakfast and for the money, good value. 

Small & comfortable 

Stayed at the Wellhouse in October. What a fantastic little place, en-suite  bedroom was well furnished and spotliss. Tea/coffee making facilities, free wifi and a cracking breakfast. Close to all main facilites in the toon. Will definatly be staying there again as it was cracking.

A very warm welcome from Frances and Jimmy. Room 3 is small but well.equipped, although the design of the bed makes it difficult to sit up in bed. Very comfortable and warm room with kettle, tv and en suite shower/loo. Breakfast was good, tasty and filling. 
Lovely quiet room with parking right outside during off-peak hours. £46 b&b and plenty of blethering. Would return.
