Arrived at 14:17 to see if the room was ready as we had travelled over 200 miles and the journey was not as bad as had been expected given it was the Easter weekend. We went to reception to be told that if our room was ready, we would need to pay an extra £10 to check in.  Whilst I was aware of the early check in from 11:00 for a £10 fee, I was not expecting to be offered my room for an extra 40 minutes for £10.  The staff member was actually quite rude and will be one of my lasting memories of this Hotel. Also, the guttering outside our room was overflowing which was causing the excess water to fall on the windowsill which was quite loud. Fortunately it stopped overnight but had it not, I know this would have kept me awake.  And why no toilet roll ? What is that all about ? Instead there was a paper dispenser like you get in fast food takeaways with small tissues on offer.

Not the greeting I was expecting.

Excellent night's sleep. Arrived late in the evening and Beverley on reception was so welcoming and helpful. Rooms clean and comfortable. Parking onsite. Recommended for an overnight stay whilst travelling. Beefeater next door for breakfast which we didn't use as we were leaving early.

Good premier inn

I stayed for one night at Premier Inn Cannock South, as I was visiting to see a theatre show. The hotel provided everything I needed, a room, tea & coffee facilities, a TV and spacious bathroom. What I didn't expect was how comfortable the large bed was. I always struggle to fall asleep but, on my stay at this hotel, I was asleep within 10 minutes of climbing into bed. I will happily stay here again.

No Better Night's Sleep

We stay at Premier Inn about 6 times/year and this was the worst experience we have had, both the hotel and restaurant. The staff, however, were very helpful and friendly. The room number 19 was very small and pokey and close to the access door and staff facility on the first floor. The room is overdue refurbishment and was noisy.  We have never been allocated such a small room. The beefeater next door was disappointing compared to the usual Premier inn restaurant and menu. Would we stay here again, no we would look elsewhere.

Disappointing hotel and restaurant 

What a lovely place to stay! The staff were very friendly especially Beverley on reception who was very kind letting us book in early as my elderly father wanted his afternoon nap.
The rooms were scruptiously clean and equiped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay will certainly be back , and recommend to friends and family, Thankyou Premier Inn it was lovely.

Simply Lovely

was so happy with my stay from the beginning, was last minute so called to book as was the first time and always like to speak to a person, lady’s name was Bev and she was also there when I arrived, she couldn't have been more helpful and checked I was okay with everything. The people I think make all the difference and I always hope they are valued by these big companies, definitely recommend her for promotion if possible!

Had a nice, comfortable stay at this premier inn. The lady on reception Beverley was outstanding, really welcoming and friendly. It's hard to get great customer service these days but she was outstanding and you can see she takes pride in her work. 

Great stay with excellent customer service

Well located, quiet despite being near a major junction, friendly staff, room and cleanliness completely up to Premier Inn standards.  Didn't eat there because like most places they don't take any precautions against airborne Covid transmission.

We met the lovely bev who was so helpful, polite, The bed was so comfy and the pillows were perfect, was nice and quite, Went down to breakfast was a great selection we would definitely be going again

Lovely staff 

Spent a weekend here for family occasion, rooms were nice and clean, all the staff were lovely, but the receptionist Beverly went out her way for us, nothing was a problem. Will be using again in future when needed also recommend.
