Stayed for new year's night , food , staff , and service were excellent, felt as it I had knew the staff after the night. Room was clean , and tidy and very comfortable. The pub was great craic , locals great and drinks and bar staff really nice , good prices too. Definitely would recommend a stay , great too for cyclists. 

New Year's Eve 2023 

If you want a premier inn then this is not for you - a quirky hotel with friendly staff and locals . Room 16 is lovely , bar food is very good pub grub . Have not had breakfast yet however would definitely stay again if in the area. 

One night stay 

Stayed couple of nights recently for a wedding. The prices were pleasing, the breakfasts were fabulous, but what shone out overall, was the individual, personal interactions. Every member of staff, was so welcoming and friendly and fluid in role to make the hotel management  efficcient. Whilst I know there is no I in team, I’m goin to mention , Emma who was so friendly, funny at all times. Vicky on the phone, was so informative and just lovely, and gave great local information.Alistair was so helpful when I amended the large booking. One of the staff had laryngitis but she still powered through the evening with a  smile. sorry her name escapes me. The young lads on both days at breakfast  were SO nice also. There was a Zoe, who had multiple roles in the hotel, again just SO lovely, helpful and friendly. I would heartily recommend this place to stay and I will definitely go back. It is not the ritz obviously, hence the competitive rates, but it contributed heavily to a brilliant weekend..Thank-you  Grahams Arms, for the endorphin boost !! 
Ps, don’t forget the Tea spoon !! 😂😁

Wedding Stay.

We called in on the off chance, while passing through Longtown, to get some lunch. 
The lady who greeted us was so lovely & really welcoming (I think Vikki) 
The dining room was closed due to a carpet clean, so we were sat in the bar. 
There were a few locals in and some other visitors. Everyone was friendly and having a big chat. 
Our food came quickly and was tasty…the nicest chips we’ve had in a long time! (No frozen oven chips in sight!) 
Prices were reasonable and customer toilets were spotlessly clean. 
We would definitely call back if in the area. 

Welcoming and good food!

Came here with family to eat 3 course christmas meal, what can i say but, well done,  more than enough food, friendly staff, keep up the good work👍 have been back for meal since and was not disappointed.

Lovely food

We chose to stay here as this place is dog friendly and we were ravelling with an elderly aunt and her dog.

The rooms are very clean and the beds comfortable . 

Food served in the bar was excellent and the staff could not be more helpful. The Graham Arms has become our overnight stop when travelling to the north of Scotland.

Comfortable stay

Absolutely awful, food was terrible the chef was swearing at waitress and we could hear it and food was totally awful! The kids portion was no different to the full portion and will not be visiting again! Chefs attitude stunk however the only good point was the service from the young waiter who was brilliant!! And only very young

Dinner

Fabulous family run hotel . Only spent one night , had dinner bed and breakfast . Staff were all very friendly , the food was good and room was comfortable. Would certainly recommend and if down that way again then would be more than happy to stay over. 

Fab hotel

Lovely warm welcome from the lady who was serving behind the bar who also arranged a late checkout for us which was much appreciated, in this nice traditional hotel, the room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was really nice so we’re the staff serving, , on checkout the lady on reception was very informative on places we could go for a walk beside the river and round a few ponds  and so lovely 😊 the staff are a credit to the hotel, free parking down the street next to hotel where we found a lovely home made pie shop and Hog roast shop . Highly recommend hotel to stay in .

Excellent 

Another fantastic meal at the Graham Arms. Food was perfect and the service exemplary. Nothing was too much trouble. Food came out with enough time between starters and mains to thoroughly enjoy the main course. 
Attentive service from the staff is the usual rather than the exception which is how it should be
