All went perfectly. A lovely couple were kind hosts at this charming B&B in the countryside. It’s a 25 min cab ride away from Bath city centre (bus would be complicated to take). Delicious breakfast included with price served with care and taste. The room was comfortable and clean and had everything we needed. I’d recommend it warmly!

Lovely place and hosts

I contacted this place to book a room back in September and received a text saying they had a room avaliable and did I want to book it. I said yes please and recieved no reply. I tried to phone them repeatedly to ask if the room had been booked, they failed to answer the phone, eventually I got through to the owner about a week before my trip only to get an irate response that she wasn't at home and therfore couldn't check my booking. She promised to let me know and then did not do so. I texted again and didn't a reply. When I phoned again she tried to gaslight me, claiming she had in fact messaged me to say the room was not booked, and that I had never texted them! Somone this unreliable has no business working in hospitality.

Total shambles

I visit this area of Somerset regularly to see my son and his family. I’ve stayed in a few places for either one or two nights, however nowhere as good as Glebe House. It’s a beautiful property near Radstock, with stunning rooms of the countryside and has a large indoor swimming pool. Host Paul, a charming man, welcomes you with a very friendly a d warm hello. My room was spacious and spotlessly clean, as was the spacious bathroom. It’s very quiet and has a peacefulness.
The breakfast was terrific and caters for all tastes, even Almond milk which I usually have. I don’t eat a cooked breakfast, however I saw others that did and it looked delicious.
I have no doubt whatsoever in recommending this beautiful property.

Fabulous Property & Great Value for money

Stayed here only one night to dive at Vobster Quays.  Would have liked to have stayed longer. It was lovely. The owner is friendly and the B&B itself is in a lovely garden setting. Having breakfast watching ducks. Rooms spacious, clean and quiet.  Breakfast (English + cereal) freshly cooked and very tasty. Has a pool.  Very good value.  Ample free parking.

Perfect! Excellent for diving at Vobster.

I agree with previous reviews.The hostess was so kind and provides lovely breakfasts in a comfortable homely atmosphere.The swimming pool was so perfect for the extremely hot weather.Our room was ideal and very clean.Hope to return one day.Thank you.

VERY ENJOYABLE STAY

I stayed at Glebe house to attend a music course nearby. I was very well looked after by the hostess, with my gluten free diet accommodated. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable - fabulous shower. There is also a swimming pool but I didn't get chance to use it - maybe next time!

Fabulous breakfast!

This B&B is quiet, attractive and ideally located for accessing Bath or Bristol. I had a room overlooking the vast well kept gardens. 

The bedroom itself was of a good size, double bed was comfy and warm. The bathroom was large with a lovely shower. 

Jean, was the best host. Her breakfast is unrivalled and kept me going on site all day. She has a lovely warming welcome and made me feel at ease as soon as I arrived. 

All in all, a lovely place to stay. Where the worries of normality drift away as you enter the building. 

Would definitely recommend Glebe House to everyone who is travelling for work or pleasure.

Utter perfection.

I was booked into Glebe House through a company I was working for and stayed there for two nights. 

Myself and my colleague arrived to a warm welcome from the woman who runs the B&B (who's name unfortunately I never got to learn). She showed us to our rooms and then asked us what time we would like breakfast the following morning. My bedroom included my own private bathroom with a good shower and a very comfortable double bed. Because we arrived quite late the heating had then gone off so it was a little cold initially but there was a very handy blow heater I could use which was good.

Breakfast both mornings was lovely and there was cereal/juice awaiting you when you came into the breakfast room which you cold help yourself to if you wanted to whilst you waited for any cooked food. Our host very kindly dropped us at where we needed to be for work on the second morning as neither of us drive and the location of Glebe House doesn't have many pavements around it. We were extremely grateful to her for dropping us as taxi's are also not that easy to come by unless you have rebooked them for the morning the night before.

The only reason I knocked off a star was because of the location. Asforementioned, I am not a driver so it wasn't easy to get to a town centre/an area with more restaurants/shops etc. There was a very nice pub that we went to for dinner one night which was a ten minute walk down the road (with no pavement) but that was the closest thing nearby.

Other than this though, Glebe House was comfortable, clean and complete with  kind and caring host. I definitely reccomend staying here should you be looking for somewhere in the area (and are a driver/have a car)

Warm & comfortable stay with a host who went above and beyond!

We stayed 3 nights. The reception is very warm and the park is very pleasant. The room, located on the facade/pignon with bathroom above the front door is spacious, comfortable, very clean and has a courtesy kettle. There is everything needed in the bathroom. The typical English breakfast is really full and delicious. It was also nice to be able to chat with the hostess who gave us some visiting tips because it is very well located to visit Bath, Wells, Cheddar... The free parking is also a plus with the swimming pool. Only the hot inconvenience is that it is difficult to sleep when the windows are very open due to traffic.

A real B & B

We stayed 6 nights at the B&B Glebe House in Radstock on the recommendation of our English friends. Everything was perfect during our stay and we would like to highlight the friendliness and professionalism of the owner Jean. With a special mention for the full English breakfast. An address to recommend without hesitation for those who wish to visit Somerset and certainly the best quality/price ratio we have found during our travels to the UK.
