AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING. My family member is very fussy and they achieved what she wanted. A lasagne. Such a clean place and the worker we had was lush i think her name was Rebecca she deserves a bloody raise. Next time i go i hope to see her being the manager.

Lovely place

Excellent service and a lovely room. The bed was very big and very comfortable. The only negative was that the room was cold even though the radiator was up high. There was a double shower and the water pressure and temperature was perfect. The hotel is just across the road from a McDonald’s but we had a lovely breakfast in the hotel restaurant. Overall a great hotel.

Short visit

Last minute break. A chance to spend a few quiet days at the hotel and enjoy the excellent breakfasts and superb choices on the large menu, along with the vegan and vegetarian options.
I have enjoyed every meal at the Park Lodge.

Superb dining experience

Loud buzzing from the electrics in the room. Only way to make it stop was to remove the door card. Front desk not interested. Despite being mid week loud drink party in room next door. Called to reception who did tell them to be quiet but staff made it seem like an effort. I’ll be avoiding this place in future. 

Noisy  

We came for a weekend to visit my parents and my father had rung the previous Tuesday to book a table for a lunchtime meal. My dad is disabled so his needs in terms of where he is seated is slightly different for reasons I won’t go into. On arriving my father told the young man behind the bar we had booked and he had requested a specific table which the receptionist had confirmed on the phone. The young man  told my dad in a rude manner there was no booking, clearly my dad was quite upset and this was not picked up by the gent who continued in his rude tone. Rather than just apologise and say he would sort out another window seat close to the lobby he directed us to a central table and continued in his rude manner. I would recommend that you give this young lad some customer service training as his tone and manner were totally out of order. As a contrast the waitresses were very polite and helpful.

Attended a wake at your establishment today and a found for the price my friend paid the food wasn’t worth the £14per person. Plus £300 room hire and the bar wasn’t even open in the room. DISGUSTING!!! 

Over priced rubbish..

This my second stay at the hotel (1st in Sept last year), I found it great the first time so came back as it was perfect for work, the rooms are spotless and the food (breakfast and dinner) was really reasonably priced and tasty. 

All staff were super friendly as like my first visit and all areas of the hotel are clean and inviting. Haven’t stayed anywhere else but this is ideal so I’ll be continuing to stay here for work!

Great hotel, top service!

If you believe everything you read then according to twitter, this establishment prides itself on being a family run business! They are more than happy to take your money but don't think of raising any issues as you will be ignored! Don't stay in Room 30 unless you enjoy the constant noise of the kitchen fan which will keep you awake and then wake you nice and early in the morning. To say we had a rubbish night's sleep both my young children and I would be an understatement! Awful company to deal with. Will never stay again. 

Stay somewhere else!

Enjoyed a Very pleasant stay. Very friendly and helpful staff, nothing was too much bother. Lovely, clean room with a very comfortable bed. 2 arm chairs which is unusual. Loved the shower. Fabulous food with large portions. Loads of good parking.

Fantastic short break

The room was large, clean and comfortable and all of the staff that I met were friendly and helpful. There appeared to be ample parking. It shares a roundabout with MacDonalds and Morrisons, however, so is not exactly peaceful. Convenient for the university, however - just a 5 minute drive.
