Amazing atmosphere lots of fun had here. Staff are very welcoming and polite. Landlord and Landlady made us feel at home. Home from home overnight rooms comfortable and clean. Large range of ciders beers lagers and Gins too.

Local

The pub is dirty and it stinks, Ian the landlord is rude and unprofessional and the beer tastes like line cleaner.
The toilets made me feel like I was going to catch a disease.
This is a shame as the previous management were brilliant, this place has gone massively downhill.

I wouldn't touch this place with a 10 foot pub pole

Great pub

Popped into the red lion didn't book as we wanted to be leisurely myself hubby and daughter. We did have a quick lunch some weeks ago just before their closure for refurb I'm so glad we did lovely roast pork  crisp roast potatoes 💯 homemade good selection of fresh veg two delicious desserts with cream three pints of excellent cloudy cider all for £43 wow so good booked for MOTHERS DAY 😁😁😁

So traditional... perfect

Stayed at Red Lion pub as we needed to be close to Bradwell on Sea.  Lovely family friendly accomodation.  Great family room, lovely en-suite bathroom, tea/coffee making facilities, towels, complimentary toiletries and bottled water. Ample car parking. Had a delicious evening meal, reasonably priced and a delicious cooked breakfast to order the next day.  Staff very attentive, replaced son's drink for free when he decided to spill it before even taking a sip. He loved the hot chocolate too!  Also dog friendly so pooches are welcome. Would definitely lately return and highly recommend.

Overnight stay

Visited the Inn mid week lunch time in June.   It was fairly quite in the  restaurant but had some friendly locals in the bar area.   We were served promptly by a very attentive  young lady.   The menu was good and all three of us in the party enjoyed a fine meal,with the prices being very, very good.   There is a car park at the rear of the Inn and wheelchair access.   Don't be shy give it a try.   I will be back soon.

Red Lion Welcome

We stayed at the Red Lion inn overnight as we were going to a party near by. The room we had was very clean and over looked the carpark and the fields which was very pleasant. Only criticism would be the bed in our room was very low to the floor but we both had a great nights sleep. We had a meal in the restaurant which was very nice and piping hot. The Staff were very helpful.  Breakfast was lovely and hot and plentiful. We will plan to stay again if we have an occasion to do so.

Great overnight stay

We had a lovely pork Sunday roast followed by desert, great pub, very friendly staff, the owners are doing a great job , lots of regular events each week, look forward to moving into our new home soon and becoming a local.

Sunday Lunch

Went here today for jacket potato, the restaurant was chilly and potato arrived on a very cold plate,the potato was not very hot and my wife's was not very Welly done. We usually get good meals here so we're a bit disappointed, but will still go back in the future.
