Stayed here several times, excellent location for walking g into Christchurch and exploring, the outside of the hotel and some rooms are now starting to look tired, very comfortable beds and clean room with plenty of tea/ coffee/ milk etc available 

Comfortable hotel

Staying here did the job for early airport access but take care registering your car for parking as I arrived home a week later to find a £60 fine waiting even though I registered my car on an electronic machine at reception. 

Parking issues

Very clean. Need to supply decaf tea though! Lovely reception staff Debbie and Savannah. Great location in town but quiet and very comfortable beds. Would stay again. As a woman on my own I felt safe and secure. Free parking was great 

Friendly staff. Comfy bed

We needed to stay in Christchurch for a funeral and just wanted somewhere basic and clean to stay but we were impressed by the facilities at the Premier Inn and especially the continental breakfast which was excellent value for money. Although I had poor sleep, that was not the fault of the hotel as I often sleep badly when away, and was unlucky in having someone over head who got up at 5.30am and clumped around heavily overhead for two hours (doing what, I cannot imagine).

Excellent value for money

I was looking for somewhere to write in peace, yet to also feel welcome and comfortable. This hotel fit the bill perfectly. The outstanding aspect was the helpful staff, each one wanting to ensure I had everything I needed. They all did this with a smile, and open to having a conversation.

An author's retreat

I want to thank Silvana who was the lady in charge of reception when we arrived at the Premier Inn Christchurch on Monday 25th September.
I have a walking disability and the room which we had been given was on the second floor.  The lift was broken which meant that I would have to take the stairs to get access to our room. Silvana questioned whether I would be able to manage the stairs and although I said I would be alright with them, Silvana insisted that we accept a ground floor room. She went above and beyond. Xx
This was excellent observation and service.

Excellent Receptionist

We stayed in a premier plus room.  I don't think the extra cost was worth it so we'd go for a standard room the next time. 

The staff were all very helpful, especially the lady cleaning the rooms.

The bed was very comfy, as usual and the in room facilities were good, especially the illuminated make up mirror.  
However, I was disappointed that the shower in the bathroom was no better than in a standard room.  There was only a rainforest shower head.  My preference is always for a hand held shower head.  Some of the pictures in the website for the premier plus rooms show showers with both types of shower heads.

We opted for the PI breakfast at the pub next door.  It was table service so the hot food was cooked to order, which was great.  Sadly, there weren't enough staff on duty so the continental buffet wasn't being refreshed very well.  Bread and other items were running out and not being replaced quickly enough.  I felt sorry for the staff as they were run off their feet trying to cope with the number of covers.  There just weren't enough of them to cope.

There was also free parking for the duration of our stay, which is a bonus.

The wifi was down on the last morning we stayed so that wasn't great even though it might have been out of the control of the PI.

A great Christchurch hotel

Reliable standard Premier Inn experience. Good comfortable room, clean bathroom. Breakfast service at adjacent Table Table poor but good quality breakfast. Accessible Room  bed was too low to get up easily and would have done better with walk in shower rather than shower over low bath. Pleasant stay overall.

Quite pleasant stay overall. 

We use Premier Inn hotels all the time. However, we were disappointed with the Christchurch hotel. Firstly we were under the impression that the hotel overall was a Premier Inn Plus. However, this is not the case. I also paid for ultimate WIFI as travelling with teenagers. This appeared no different to normal WIFI. We had a family room but the put you up bed my 13yr old stayed on was very uncomfortable and in the morning she said she hardly slept as she could feel the springs through the mattress. Also the all inclusive breakfast is not buffet style. We had to order what we wanted from the waitress. Our table was booked for 8.30am as we had a wedding to attend. We did not get our breakfast until 9.30am. However, the lady serving us was lovely and run off her feet. So I think this must have been a staffing issue rather than the service from the waitress. 

Little disappointing

Quality room and friendly staff we had a premier inn plus room and I must say it made a big difference to us for our stay and the only thing I would say I found the WiFi wasn’t that great even with the Ultra Wi-Fi because  the room we had was furthest from the reception area
