Where to start....Location is great. Not only close to the airport and NEC, with easy access, but to get there, you are away from the major road jams - easy and quick. Why time travel? because Anthea's welcome and hospitality is a throwback to the days when customers really counted. I have not found better or warmer and it was a refreshing surprise. Speaking of warmer, don't worry about keeping warm. The heating is toasty and NOT (as in some places), only turned on for a couple of hours here or there to save money. Nope the outside chill will not affect you. Likewise plenty of hot water and good shower pressure. The sanitary stuff boasts character but most importantly, all works. Finally monsters...The breakfast! This is huge and of a quality that would put most of the major chains to shame. The only thing off the menu is dieting. For those more disciplined, there is a great selection of fruits and cereals too. Comfy bed and pristine linen. Would I come back? Yes. Would I recommend this oasis? Yes -already have done. Monsters and Time Travel

Five of us stayed here this month to work at a show at the NEC. On that note an  easy commute by car. All rooms were large and well kitted out. The Full English is huge and very good. The welcome and service are fantastic. Some rooms have only single beds and the room in the attic is not the best however all in all great value and we all had a great stay. Decent free parking too!

Anthea and the team are great hosts!

Me and my partner have stayed at bibury house a few times now and have had an excellent stay every time, it's in a good location for the nec/airport, restaurants and pub up the road for our evening meals is great, our room is. Comfortable, clean and the breakfasts are always very nice, lady of the house always friendly and helpful and through our experience we would recommend to our friends and family every time

Our experience

Arrived with apprehension after reading review from 'near the NEC'. Delighted with the welcome from the proprietor who was very helpful and friendly. We had requested a ground floor room, and stayed in Room No3 without any problems arising. Lovely English breakfast. We will be back again to stay in this lovely Edwardian house.

Two night stay

My wife and I stayed overnight at Bibury House on Thursday 14th March.  We had an early flight from Birmingham airport the next morning and this guest house is very near the airport and NEC.
We found the hostess charming, friendly and helpful. Our room was spotless, tea facilities were available, the bed was comfortable, shower and toilet facilities were clean and worked efficiently. Breakfast was full English, excellently presented and charmingly serviced. There were also many options on the menu. We thouroughly enjoyed our stay and if we need to stay in the area again, we would stay at Bibury House. We thought it was great value for money and would recommend it to everyone wishing to stay in this area.
