Stayed here for a couple of nights while on a cycling weekend on the island. Barbara is a wonderful host. The rooms, beds and bathrooms are well equipped and very comfortable. The breakfast choices are wide and all beautifully cooked and presented. Location wise Endeavour House could barely be better. 5 to 10 minutes to town with all the shops, bars and restaurants, to the RedJet terminal, the floating bridge and the quay. Would thoroughly recommend and plan to return sometime 

Fantastic base, superb host 

Booking accommodation is always a risk but there was no worries at Endeavour House.  From the moment Barbara opened the door we where made to feel at home!  We had travelled to the Isle of White for a wedding in Cowes so this accommodation was perfectly situated, just a short walk into town.  The rooms where clean comfy.  The service for breakfast was fantastic!  Thank you for making the weekend even better and we hope to come back again one day! 

Fantastic wedding accommodation

The Endeavour House is a little gem.  Barbara is a fantastic host.  The room we had was beautiful, light, airy, clean and very fresh!  Breakfast was amazing.  We will definitely go back at some point.  Endeavour House is right on the doorstep for the floating bridge and central for walking into Cowes. We loved our stay and would highly recommend it.

Little Gem

Clean, comfortable, and only 10 mins walk from the Red Jet ferry terminal in Cowes, this is lovely place to stay if you're visiting the Isle of Wight. Barbara, the owner, is delightful, and makes an absolutely smashing breakfast. The rooms are bright and very comfortable, and we were told that she'd just gotten a new mattress in. Slept very well indeed! The location is perfect for anyone spending a bit of time in Cowes. Thanks to Barbara for a lovely stay!

Very nice b and b. Friendly welcome. We had room 2 on the second floor, bit of a haul with the cases but the room was lovely and bright, well decorated and furnished and very clean. Small bathroom, which did include a bath. Views over the solent from the bedroom. A good breakfast. Would recommend. 

Comfy, clean and welcoming.

I stayed for two night in the most beautiful room, it was spacious, light and airy, with two large windows both  looking out over the gardens, taking in a sea-view as well...Barbara the owner  was so lovely, she collected me from the Red Jet terminal as it was such a hot day...which was so unexpected and kind of her...Endeavour House is just a stone's throw from the local restaurants, bars and shops, bus stops ...The House is full of character, really stunning, but comfortable at the same time ...The choices for the delicious breakfast are So Good, and cooked beautifully ...I cannot fault this place.   I will be going again ...

Reviewing my stay at Endeavour House

My wife and I stayed at the Prince of Wales b&b for a week the staff were fantastic excellent room excellent food 
Check in was good very quite at night rooms very clean and even surprisingly gave us a fan because of the hot weather

Holiday

Lovely welcoming B and B and spotless airy room with comfy bed and very peaceful. Easy to wander into Cowes, and breakfast was delicious. Only has 3 rooms, so you would need to book ahead, but this makes it feel very personal.

Elegant peaceful B and B

We stayed at The Endeavour for 3 nights. Nothing was too much trouble for Barbara. She will advise on your sightseeing requirement if you ask.
A bottle of water, tea, coffee, biscuits etc were provided on a daily basis. We had breakfast on our own each day due to covid restrictions, but this felt quite  special. We text our order to Barbara the night before. 
The room was pleasant and quaint. It suited our needs. There was plenty of space for hanging and storing clothes too. There was a TV. The room had an ensuite bath and shower. Everything was spotless.
There are steep steps to the 2 floors which didn't bother us at all, but might not make this accommodation, suitable for everyone. There is parking at the front of the property for 3 cars, which was handy.
Things to do.
We visited Osborne House. We walked as the chain ferry wasn't working and it was quicker. In total we clocked up 8 miles, looking around the house and gardens. We drove and visited The Needles and the Old Battery. Yarmouth town, Sandown and Ryde. All within around half an hour or so away.  
Restaurants that we enjoyed. Pier View x 2 nights, nice pub food. Gastronomy,beautiful food,if you want to push the boat out. We did try The Basque Kitchen, but felt it was expensive for what it was.  Everyone is different with food requirements.
The last day, we journeyed onto Ventnor. We visited Carisbrooke castle on the way. We spent a couple of hours there.  If you're visiting this castle and Osborne house, it is worth buying the English Heritage membership. 
We really enjoyed our time in the IOW and may be we might return one day.

A lovely quiet B&B, 5 mins from the town

Endeavour House is a lovely property perfectly situated for getting about Cowes and for exploring further afield.  It's a 5 minute stroll into town where there are lots of nice places to eat and drink (many with views over the water).  A frequent and reliable bus service (route 1) goes from right outside the front door.  Our room was large, bright and airy with a big comfortable bed and plenty of wardrobe/drawer space.  Barbara had thoughtfully provided a large bottle of tap water along with all the usual tea/coffee stuff. Off road parking was available which was much appreciated.  Breakfast was generous and delicious and bonus points for the homemade raspberry jam - my favourite.
