I visited on a coach trip last week and was immensely impressed. My room was warm, cosy and spotless. It was cleaned every day and the bed was very comfortable. Staff were very friendly and there was entertainment every night. There was plenty of delicious food served at breakfast and dinner by polite, helpful staff.

Turkey and Tinsel

Just enjoyed a 5 day break with Alfa travel at the George 1V Hotel. 
The hotel and bedrooms were lovely and clean, hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and  couldn’t do enough for us.
Entertainment was very good.
Only downside was the entertainment room was cold.
would definitely go again in the future.

Great friendly hotel

The bedroom was larger than usual and included chairs and table to sit rather than just using the bed. Bed was roomy and very comfortable. Shower was excellent. Staff were friendly and worked very hard. Food was high standard and the bar had a good selection of drinks. Nightly entertainment was pretty good and the Saturday singer was exceptional. 

Above our expectations

Nice hotel friendly staff good food entertainment every night free WiFi clean rooms and the rest of the hotel I would definitely go back again train station not far from the hotel regular bus service the beach and castle are not far away local convenience store just up the street

Coach holiday

we stayed at his hotel for a New year holiday,
the hotel is situated on the main road,
their is No car park at the hotel, but the is a car park a short walk way plus some parking bay on the road,
their is a few steps into the hotel,
all the staff were very friendly and helpful,
the lounge area is a bit dated  but had some cosy seating but very clean,
their is a small snug bar which is very nice and a entertainment room,
the dinning room has some beautiful wood paneling,
the rooms were comfortable with tea and coffee making facilities, 
the food and service was excellent the restaurant staff were very obliging, and friendly, 
New Years Eve was fantastic the entertainer Mandy had every one joining in,
the staff severed sandwiches and cake on the evening,
the village is very picturesque and a nice sea front 
some rooms had views of the Castle
I have dietary needs which the staff would explain to me what on the menu  they were very understanding,

excellent stay

Loved my stay in Criccieth at George IV hotel. Room overlooked gardens, sea mountains. Power shower brilliant. Unfortunately Only soap was given in rooms no shower gel or shampoo and conditioner. Meals table served good selections from menu. Location 5 minutes from stretch of sea and sand . Gift shops bakery and pub nearby to hotel. Travelling around was easy  as a bus stop is right outside the hotel Entertainment every night was enjoyable. Restaurant staff polite. Emilia looked after us and was great. Lifts to all rooms. Our light switch fell loose from the wall but was attended to within 48 hours after we reported it. Reception staff helpful and friendly. Would return. Lovely place to stay.

We've had a lovely experience at this hotel all thanks to Cath, she made sure she resolved any issues during our stay, is super-helpful, friendly, proactive and easy to get along with. Thank you Cath!

Excellent Service and stay

Just completed a four night 'Self drive' booked through Alfa Travel

Walked into this lovely hotel and we were immediately given a very warm reception by a very polite, friendly and professional young lady on the reception desk.
Given our room key and sitting time and table number for the restaurant and told if we needed to change anything - just to let them know - we didn't - it was fine. We were also given a car park pass which allowed  us to park for free on the council carpark just across the road.
The room was lovely - roomy and had everything that we would need for a four night stay. Made up and cleaned every day.
The lift was brilliant - never had to wait for any unnaceptable length of time>
Food in the restaurant was very good with ample choices for vegetarians and vegans if requires. The table service was first class (Must give a shout to Marius here who looked after us throughout or stay -what a superb waiter)
Location of hotel - good - handy for pubs, Tea rooms and promenades - local bus and train services.
Evening entertainment - somethingfor everyone.
Well done Alfa & Leisureplex - for prividing an excellent service

Could not fault

Went with Alfa coaches. The hotel was spot on. Luggage taken to and from your room. Food was well cooked and plentiful. Never left the table hungry. Plenty of choice and very tasty. All staff  freindly and very helpful..Will definitely go back

I loved this hotel where we stayed for four nights, plenty of choice for breakfast and dinner the food was well cooked and presented on hot plates. Room was airy and comfy with a large ensuite bathroom, the staff were amazing always smiling, helpful and efficient
