This is a wonderful, cosy pub run by lovely people. We went there for a bingo night and to spend time with friends, and stayed in one of their impeccably clean rooms. The room was fantastically comfortable, and the pub atmosphere was very friendly. We'll be back!

I think, Quite possibly the best family run pub in West wales.
Fantastic beer, Ian and Joan are fantastic hosts. Ian is always welcoming. We'll worth the trip from south Wales.
Haven't had food yet but will be back with a review as soon as I have.

Fantastic beer in a beautiful village

Sunday lunch is a carvery but there is no veggie option.  when we arrived we were told we needed to order 2 days in advance.  They couldn't even take 5 minutes to make some veggie gravy so I had a very dry dinner of over cooked vegetables.  The meat eaters enjoyed their meat.  The apple pie was good.  It was a very expensive plate of nondescript food I'm afraid.  Very disappointing as it is a lovely pub.  Comfortable and cosy but the food needs to improve dramatically.

Sunday lunch

We stayed here a couple of times; on each occasion the staff were brilliant and very friendly.
They made us and our dog very welcome.
The food was excellent and very good value.
If you’re having breakfast, I’d recommend the ‘full Welsh’. 
The waiting time for food was a bit long, but was worth it. At least that shows that everything was freshly cooked.

Excellent steaks!

We had lunch here yesterday. Everything was absolutely perfect. Food excellent, vegetables cooked to perfection. No al dente nonsense here. The beef was delicious and tender. Everything piping hot. The atmosphere is so welcoming. 
Staff do an amazing job in such an ancient pub.

Superb Sunday lunch

I always visit this pub when I’m on holiday at the nearby Caeiago Riding Centre in Ffarmers. It’s the highlight of the ‘pub ride’ and has a hitching rail for the horses at the back (may need advance booking I think). We only ever have time for chips and a drink but both are always delicious. The people who run the pub (Jan and Chris) are very lovely and welcoming.

Phoned to book a table and to ask if they did vegetarian gravy. I was offered a nut roast as a meat substitute. Was very impressed with all vegetarian food and the way the staff where all very accommodating to my needs. Will definitely be back!!! Very happy :) 

Excellent! Vegetarian friendly 

The Brunant Arms is a very cosy little pub in the middle of nowhere - Its backdrop is gorgeous, with little more than a few streets of houses and a church nearby. 

We stayed on a Saturday night and ate in the pub for dinner - upon arrival we enquired about dinner and were warned it was busy but they would be able to fit us in towards the end of the evening which we were very grateful for (would be advisory to book as their lovely cooking draws the locals into capacity it would seem!) The pub has a wide selection of meals and does a lovely carvery on a Sunday - has a pool table and TV in one section but mainly a small bar and perhaps 15 tables in the main area. it was not loud and was child-friendly and by 10.30/11pm was all locked up and silent. 

WiFi was good and parking nearby was easy enough to find - all parking is street parking and is free. The room was very clean and toiletries and tea and coffee were provided. 

There was no desk however for a room over a pub I wouldn't necessarily have expected one; just a note if travelling for business.

Breakfast was made however we liked which was very kind as we were the only ones in that night for breakfast and was lovely they had vegetarian alternatives.

Friendly, atmospheric pub and very good carvery made up a lovely picturesque village getaway. Though full and accommodating owners and a decent real ale to wash it down with. Beer garden and views. Will return soon.
