The cottages are very clean, cosy and spacious the surroundings are stunning and the owners are very friendly we are going next year april for the the third time and we hope if our health stays good that there are going to be many more

Stunning

We absolutely loved our stay at the cottages. I wanted to escape for my birthday and find somewhere peaceful and comfortable in the highlands . 

Faebuie Cottages delivered and more. The cottages were everything we needed and so luxurious and cozy. 

Rob and Tim have created a beautiful highland escape where you have space, peace, scenery  and luxury. 

A car is needed to ensure you explore the areas around this part of the highlands . 

We are already planning our next visit.

Fabulous relaxing stay in a remote location

We stayed here for a week and would not hesitate to recommend. Cottage was well equipped, cosy, clean and comfortable. Beautiful location. Ypu will have to be organised as shops are at least a 30 minute drive away, but its worth it. Highly recommend!

Fabulous place to stay!

What a wonderful stay we had in these home away from home style cottages. Immaculately presented and very homely in a stunning location with fabulous hosts. Cannot recommend highly enough. We will be back for sure. Thank you Rob and Tim.

Simply superb

I stayed for four nights in the Moriston cottage. It couldn't have been more perfect. The location is beautifully peaceful and the cottage itself is stunning. The cottage was fully equipped for my stay and everything I needed had been thought of. I hired a car from Inverness, and it took me probably less than an hour of quiet and picturesque driving to arrive at the site. Due to the Covid19 situation, check in was remote but one of the owners popped his head out when I arrived to say hello and make sure everything was OK. It was a very quiet and tranquil location with views of the surrounding woodland. All I could hear when I sat out on the decking was bird song and now and again the gentle patter of rain. I didn't hear a peep from anyone else that was staying in the other cottages. I saw finches and robins, a red kite and bats, oh and I was briefly visited by the two resident cats, which was lovely. I went for walks straight from the cottage but also drove out to Invermoriston, Fort Augustus, and Glengarry Forest. It's a wonderful place to stay if you want to get out into nature, or if you just want some peace and quiet. The cottage itself was immaculate, spotless (I was fully confident that everything had been completely cleaned and sanitized) and a lot of thought has gone into it's layout and decor with little touches to make it as comfortable as possible. The bed was enormous. There's a downstairs cloakroom with a washing machine and an en-suite shower room upstairs with twin basins, also with views of the woodland. The decking is very private, being fenced off from the other properties.

Stunning Cottages

2nd opportunity for us to stay here. Just as perfect as the first time! The accommodation is comfortable, well equipped and so peaceful. We love the area, but did stay a little out of our way to what we needed just because the cottages are so fab. You do have to be organised as there are no restaurants or shops nearby. But this makes it more charming. Hosts are very accommodating and helpful. Covid procedures are sensible and the whole place is well looked after and immaculate. Recommend the drive to Skye (through Glen Shiel), the train Fort William to Mallaig, Loch Ness drive (round the loch), falls of  missing ours 😻 Would recommend the stay to all, just bear in mind that you will have to drive everywhere, but the drive to anywhere is amazing. Thousands of photos will be taken! 

Perfect base

We stayed 5 nights in the Moriston cottage, exceptionally clean, warm, decorated to a high standard.  Everything in working order, very peaceful & quiet no noise from other cottages. 
The directions given were very easy to understand. 
A great place to stay while visiting around Loch Ness. 
Would definitely recommend these cottages. Cannot fault this place. 


Fabulous

Faebuie Cottages are a haven of peace, within easy reach of Fort William, the Isle of Skye, Glenmoriston and Loch Ness. They are furnished and equipped to a very high standard and are very comfortable. Ours looked out over the mountains, a lovely view.

What a beautiful place to stay for a relaxing break. In the middle of nowhere, on a single track lane. It was exactly what we wanted. The sky at night was breathtaking, living in the city you never see the stars this clearly, amazing. The apartment itself was home from home. We lost our cat last year and my partner hadn't got over it, so meeting Charlie helped immensely. She now wants another. Like all cats, we fed him so he came back. :)

Just what we wanted.

This place is really lovely. Large car parking area, and once you have picked up your keys and shown to one of the four lodges you are left alone. The lodges are very well decorated and kitted out. You can’t fault the place. What we loved was how quiet it is, also how dark it gets. 
Very well done. Now comes the good bits.
