Took £304 immediately on booking last November from my card. No waiting until this July !!!! 
I had several bookings online through Booking. Com, no one else took payments like these Pirahnas do!  Chelsea flower show got cancelled as well as another trip, had to cancel through obvious means this year, l accidentally cancelled this booking early as mistook bookings, l immediately same time middle of night reinstated it through Booking.com, explained problems and 6 am in the morning they emailed back saying reinstated and confirmed my booking again, thank goodness! I need to be up there next week! These Tossers however work on their own selfish means and won’t accept the booking.
Weeks later say someone else booked 2 nights 
So stole my money and ripping someone else off too!

Do not stay here. First thing they do is ask for your credit card details for which they say is f
Deposit for damages. Then after you leave they took money from my account and lied that our 2yr old had vandalised the room. Vile liars.

Booked it, never stayed thank the Lord.  they cancelled it. said would refund obviously never so went through my bank. Even came to my house to drop fake receipt off. Obviously trying to intimidate. Trying to speak to them is pointless (proper spoilt brats) with attitude problems that twist it to make it your fault.

Con men

We booked fryup hall farm for 3 nights. Was looking forward to it until a family member got rushed into hospital.  I emailed the property to cancel. It did say the payment is non refundable at the time of booking.  But in these circumstances I thought they would give us something back .I emailed booking.com and they confirmed this . Appalling I would avoid at all costs . Theres no compassion with these turds.so were out of pocket because of sad circumstances and theres nothing we can do .

AVOID AVOID AVOID there

Wish I could give this place no stars at all it is that bad. Don’t get me wrong the place itself is in a lovely location with stunning views, however that’s where the plus points stop. 

We turned up just before the 4:00pm allotted entry time only to have to wait until nearly 4:20 for anyone to turn up and let us in. All was going well and we were all unpacking into our allotted rooms, we had taken all three rooms for our two night stay. It was booked way back in December and at the time there was a party of 6 adults and two children aged 11. Twelve weeks prior to arrival, our daughter gave birth to a wonderful baby boy after a very traumatic birth, we were certainly looking forward to the R&R. Our error was that we had forgotten to inform the farm that we would be bringing an infant of 12 weeks old. We offered to pay any additional fees for having a baby in the room, but this was just met with abuse. We were just ordered to get out of the properties and leave and the two owners were shouting abuse and being very threatening. 

Unfortunately, it gets worse. As we were trying desperately to pack up trying to feed the baby, get everything back into the cars in a very upset state We were approached by the owner and he said there was a chalet key missing. We had absolutely no idea where this key was we hadn't been in the chalets long enough to have keys and none of our party had them.   I explained this to him and he went mental to put it mildly. I simply cannot put into writing what he said but it was a torrent of anger directed at all our party, including the children. It was an absolutely terrible situation to be in. At this point he ran out of the chalet and went to get his very large Ranger vehicle and put it across the gate and said we were not allowed to leave until the key had been returned to him, accusing us of stealing it.. RIDICULOUS. He then went and got a large tractor and put that in a very threatening position pointing towards our cars I suppose in case we tried to leave.. MAD.

At this point if there had been a phone signal we would have called the police because we were now being held hostage over a key in an extremely aggressive and unpleasant manner and my parents and children were now feeling frightened by his behavior. We were at a loss as to what to do as we didn't have the key and had not seen any keys!!!!

At this point one of the children amazingly found the key on the floor in one of the chalets and gave it to the owner. He immediately shouted back that we had lied and had the key all the time and then threw a large bunch of keys at this 11 year old boy and they hit him hard on the leg and he was very scared and crying. 

Our holiday was in ruins, we were all completely shocked, horrified and frighten We also  had the most dreadful journey ahead of us as the only alternative was for us all to go home.. very sad and very angry that these ridiculous people are allowed to operate in the tourism business.. and wreck people's holidays at their whim and mood swings. Even if it was not possible for us to stay there because of the baby's name missing  we SHOULD NOT have had to experience such anger and aggression from them.

A letter of complaint has been sent to the tour operator, and all the relevant tourist authorities in the area. These people should not be allowed to carry on terrorising guests.

Fryup HELL Farm

I really don’t understand why there are any bad reviews!! The place is amazing it is beautiful. The owners were brilliant via message for any issues. The farmer Phillip is lovely and very helpful. The scenery is fantastic and the rooms are brilliant! I can’t wait to go back. Excellent value for money. Little tricky to find but once you’ve found it you don’t get lost again. 

AMAZING!!

I can't say what our stay was like or what kind of people they are, because we didn't even get to stay there. 
We were due to go 2-5 August with our 4 year old grandson.
With 24 hrs to go they cancelled our booking at 10.40pm stating invalid card. This was after taking the full amount in June and the card was fine then. On the Monday before we travelled they tried to take £100 from our account for cleaning and the payment was declined by the bank.
We received an email wanting a new card added so they could collect payment and I said there wasn't any need the card was fine and offered to pay cash on the Friday when we arrived and hoped this would be to their satisfaction. Obviously it wasn't.

I'd say please be aware of these people they let you down at the last minute, then produce fraudulent paperwork to keep your money. 
Don't book this place in the first place and save yourselves lots of hassle and stress..

Holiday cancelled before we even visited

I gave a high score through booking.com regarding staying at this farm. But the hosts did not like me commenting that I thought the studio could have been better equipped and they sent me some very nasty and sarcastic emails and I see other people have had the same experience. I would never recommend this place as I felt very uncomfortable in what they wrote in their messages to me.

RUDE AND ARROGENT DO NOT BOOK HERE

I didn't even get to stay at fryup hall farm as my booking got canceled the day before my booking with no explanation other than my card was 'invalid' despite them already taking £40 from my account. I tried to call the phone number they provided on email for an explanation but it wouldn't even ring. I contacted booking.com who managed to get fryup hall farm to agree to refund the £40. It got to 31 days without having the money refunded so I contacted booking.com only to find out fryup hall had created and provided a fake receipt to booking.com to avoid returning my money! Disgraceful, avoid at all costs!

Fraudulent

After arrival the host took photocopy of my Visa card! When check out no interest about us, few days afterwards we found out that they took £30 off my account because we moved one of the planters literally 2 metres aside and they stubbornly claim it was stolen! Terrible!!! Instead of giving a call to the customer or check through email first they took time to track down hours of the dash cam footage to find out when the planter “disappeared”. Totally disappointing! Home rules are designed to intimidate and get more money off you. Nice place but awful customer service. Avoid this place at any cost
