Loved our stay in Bluebell cottage. Immaculately clean, spacious and extremely well equipped. Lovely view across the North Yorkshire moors. Nice garden to sit in, look across the moors and watch the sun set. 

Located in a quiet location but very convenient for exploring the Moors or visiting the coast. Some lovely villages nearby. The Danny Lodge National Park centre is little over a 5 minute drive away. Some nice pubs for meals within a few minutes drive. 

The owners are lovely and very helpful in providing advice and information about about local attractions. 

Overall just wonderful accommodation in a lovely setting.

Fantastic accommodation in a beautiful location.

Had a lovely 6 nights away at this wonderful cottage set in the Yorkshire moors. It was extremely clean spacious and very comfortable all round. The owners were very friendly and welcoming but let you have your privacy too. Thank you for a lovely stay in your lovely accommodation it was so peaceful and pretty.

Excellent place in Church house farm cottage

Perhaps a little out of things for some, we found this quiet location to be perfect for our 5 day stay. There seem to be more cows than people in this valley, but there are very good valley and moorland walks and pubs to be found, plus the coast is only a short drive away. The excellent Moors National Park Centre is also close by.

We found Bluebell Cottage to be clean, comfortable and well-equipped for our needs. Wi-Fi was fast and reliable although needed to be as there was no mobile coverage locally (Vodafone).

In these COVID times it is advisable to book ahead a day or two for meals but otherwise we found the pubs/restaurants and of course the accommodation to be well-prepared and doing their best to provide a welcoming environment while following Government guidelines.

Recommended as a good base to access all areas of the NP, including the impressive coastal locations and walks.

Great location, great accommodation

We are staying here now for the third time and the owners are just brilliant. There are B&B rooms (currently not open) and holiday cottages. I have been so impressed with the kindness and thorough cleanliness. The property is of a very high quality and it is in a brilliant, peaceful and lovely location!

Excellent accommodation

A gem set in a stunning location. Our host Rachel was so lovely kind and helpful. Rooms were large and warm. Crisp clean white ben linen, super comfortable mattress and blissfully quiet. Everything you could want and need from a great B&B.

Warm and welcoming

Absolutely fantastic break, Rachel is a absolutely wondeful host, nothing was to much trouble. I cannot thank you enough for how helpful, attentive and wonderful you were.

The hotel was spotless, immaculate and well looked after. Breakfast was wonderful and plenty of choice. Even when requesting burnt toast🙈

We had the most amazing stay at Buttercup Cottage. We have been coming for several years and love all the cottages.

Do try for cottages in the National Park yet close to the Sea you can beat it

Brilliant!

Stayed at this wonderful place for two nights to attend a family wedding at Danby Castle. Fantastic Rachel, our host, treat us like dear friends. The rooms were amazing and extraordinary. The breakfasts, with a beautifully laid table were so appetising, we couldn't have wished for more. Thank you for everything.

Out Of This World.

Beautiful setting, wonderful hostess, excellent house. For walkers of coast to coast can easily walk from Fat Betty through Danby Bottom on footpaths for the most part, about 5.8km. Or Rachel will pick you up at Lion Inn but the walk is lovely.
