Stayed here just for a quick 2 night getaway this weekend - the property is beautiful and our room was comfortable, well equipped and modern with a very high quality choice of breakfast options also available.

What really made it stand out though was the service from the owners - friendly, welcoming and just downright excellent from when we arrived to the moment we left- can't recommend enough!

Fantasticly welcoming, stylish B&B

Excellent B&B situated close to Sandwich and probably the best B&B we have ever stayed in. Sandy & Peter made us feel very welcome throughout our 3 night stay and made the break even more memorable. The guesthouse is situated within lovely gardens and great location for exploring nearby Sandwich, Deal and the Kent coast.
Everything you can think of is supplied in the rooms and the Breakfasts were amazing. I would thoroughly recommend this B&B and can see why it has so many excellent reviews.

Hidden Gem in Kent, Excellent Guesthouse

We stayed here for a weekend retreat while the in-laws has the kids, a great choice as we had a lovely relaxing stay. Peter and Sandy are so welcoming, and very knowledgeable of what’s good to do and where to eat. Our room was lovely and spotlessly clean, with chocolates, water and fruit on arrival. Breakfast was delicious and served in the beautiful dining room. All in all, a great find and would definitely recommend.

Lovely, relaxing stay

Our Rose room had a beautiful pink glow with a country luxury feel. The welcome into the breakfast room, with candles and a beautifully laid table, gave us a relaxed start to the days, with gorgeous food. Sandy and Peter made us so welcome and it's clear how much they put in to creating a special experience for their guests. We stayed for 4 nights, visiting my family nearby, for the first time since lockdown. This was the first big thing we had done since lockdown had started to ease, hence we needed somewhere to feel safe, looked after and regain energy. This was the perfect place, to gain our confidence again in going out. We felt at ease, loved the thoughtful touches in the room and the comfortable bed; enjoyed the East Kent countryside and had a much needed catch up with my family.  Thank you.

Welcoming, special stay.

This is a great quality B&B,  you are provided with everything you could need from comfy beds, lots of linen and towels, a kettle and coffee, tea, biscuits and chocolate in the room. Sandy keeps the room super tidy and gives lots of great recommendations for restaurants and walks in the local area. 
Breakfast is excellent and big. I couldn't recommend it more if you are travelling to deal or sandwich

Lovely stay, great location, comfy beds, great linen and delish breakfast

A great place to stay.The farmhouse is utterly beautiful, surrounded by a pretty garden.  We stayed in the Rose room which was lovely and filled with everything you could think of, fridge, fan, fruit, chocolates etc. The hosts, Sandy and Peter, were so welcoming and the breakfast a definite 10/10.  Whether you are looking to visit the White Cliffs, castles or sandy beaches, you won't have to travel far.  We will definitely be returning!

Beautiful Farmhouse in rural Kent

We stayed for two nights on a weekend break to explore the local top sites to visit. Was not disappointed! The hosts Sandy & Peter were lovely and very welcoming, our room (Rose Room) was absolutely beautiful in every way. The small touches, bed turned down every night, chocolates left were very welcome! The award winning Full English Breakfast was delicious and freshly cooked every morning. The accommodation is so quiet and set in a lovely rural location making it easy to drive to local Deal, Sandwich and Walmer Castle (well worth a visit), even Canterbury is only 35 minutes away. Would definitely return and recommend to anyone seeking a nice quiet break, thank you Sandy & Peter for making the weekend so special 😀

Gorgeous Farmhouse property in rural Kent 

An absolutely perfect place to stay - the house and bedrooms are beautiful and our hosts Sandy and Peter were extremely welcoming and friendly   There was fresh fruit and chocolates in the room and breakfasts were freshly cooked to individual requirements.  Nothing was too much trouble and everything you could wish for was provided    Will be back! 

First Class!

Everything was absolutely perfect from the moment we arrived to when we said goodbye. Before our trip communication was excellent with Sandy ana Peter who were extremely helpful with plans for our trip. On arrival parking was easy and safe and we were greeted with a friendly smile a much needed cup of tea and delicious cake. The guest house was beautiful spotless and full of character. Breakfast was first class and again served with a very friendly smile, Peter and Sandy were great fun hosts. We were 3 couples staying at Solley farm to walk part of  the Saxon Shore way. Day 1 we got a taxi to Dover and walked to Sandwich a long 15 miles but easy walking. Day 2 we walked Folkestone to Dover again great views of the White Cliffs. We will definitely return to Solley farm next time we visit the area and would highly recommend.

Excellent

Very nice landlord and the best B&B we've ever had. The accommodation was very clean and very well decorated, but the best part was the breakfast. Sandy made it fresh every morning. To mention is still the perfectly well equipped house and the wonderful garden. Nearby is a restaurant and a pub. Very nice landlord and the best B&B we've ever had.
