Pub flat: Disappointed....
good points:
Fairly clean (apart from some of the windows and lights, which are hard to clean) bedroom floor a little sticky..... oh and a dirty toilet brush from previous user, which 
was inbetween the toilet and bath... maybe not that clean actually.
It's spacious, lots of hot water, although a little too hot from the tap.

Bad points:
Very noisy, there was live music on at the pub, people talking. Heating very loud.
Bed was OK, but I woke feeling really stiff and achy.
Hot tap is very hard to turn off, so there is the sound of a dripping tap.
Very dated bathroom, uneven floor with lino over the top, cupboard door doesn't close properly, bathroom door only shuts if locked.
Tap as previously mentioned.
Shower OK, but you can't stand under it because of the slop from the bath.
Sealant coming away from the bath and tiles.

Just very basic, could be lovely if updated. 


Disappointing.

Not quite sure why this place scores so highly. Upside it's very clean and right in the centre of the town. Small rooms where the twin bedded room only a accomodates the beds by having them positioned at angles and no room for a wardrobe just a rail and a table doubles as dressing table.

Weekend stay

We stayed here on the 9th December as we were going on the Polar Express.

Fantastic location just a few minutes walk away

The accommodation was spotless and had everything we needed for our family of 7 even a ramp was provided for access for our daughters wheelchair 

The attention to detail was fabulous even a Christmas tree and fairy lights were in accommodation

I would totally recommend and you will not be disappointed, lovely and very helpful owner

*Owners could of been a bit more attentive and welcoming during our stay. 

Good base to explore Norfolk 

Stayed with my wife and one son in apartment 2 which had two nice bedrooms, one en suite. Good  kitchen and a clean comfortable apartment. My in laws stayed in an annex room which backed on to the garden and had a second bedroom in the attic. We met up for drinks on the lawn and played with the dog ( Monty?) who has a squeaky pig toy.  Great fun. The owners were chilled and we felt at home and needed a break from lockdown whilst being able to socially distance. The owners also own a pub The Cock but we did not go there. It is in a central  location for the town centre, a Morrison's supermarket over the road  and  easy access to the road out of town to explore other parts of South Norfolk. Nice relaxing place.

Nice break in Norfolk

Our stay here was lovely. Upon arrival we were shown to our apartment which had everything you could expect-including air conditioning!The house was clean and tidy and very cosy. Better yet, there's a lovely patio area where we enjoyed drinks and dinner. We ventured out to the pub (The Cock) which was incredibly warming and welcoming. All the staff were friendly and chatty and the owners of  the house and pub made time to speak with us and allowed us to make friends with their dog, Monty. The location is perfect with supermarkets/takeaways/restaurants all withing walking distance. Definitely would recommend!!

Amazing

Stayed with a mate. Started with a warm welcome from the hosts followed by great advice for which bars to hit. Within hours we'd quaffed some Belgian beers, seen the home of sub-par insurance ads and found some local delights. After a brief Krystal Maze we were back at the gaff for an after-party of clinic-visiting proportions. Absolutely no judgement from the landlord/gardener when we were caught evicting our unplanned guests (no extra charge either)...until he saw us later in the pub. Even then, the bants were good and the beers were free (every third round). But that only gets us to 4 stars; the fifth goes to the babe in the ambulance costume - then I saw her face, now I'm an Aviva! Overall, this is the place to be. Turns out the Broads have sacked off the canals and made their way to Dereham. They bang on about their canaries - well I'd venture down their mines anytime. Anyways, no point in labouring things; Delia said "let's be 'avin ya!" Norwich had me. Hard. 

The place to go if you want a Norwich Union!

Excellent clean and large accommodation. Other reviews were either unfair or reflected older accommodation which now appears to be recently revamped.

Suggest booking directly using Booking.com are penalised for using the service. If booking directly the hotel offers a 5% discount and free parking, otherwise charge for parking for a real petty thing to do. Also be aware though it says pet friendly thees actually a £10 charge which I guess is fair but not detailed until you get invoice.

Despite small pricing niggles thoroughly recommended, a home from home.

Tidy clean comfortable; everything on the doorstep 5 minutes walk into town 2 minutes to Morrison’s good car parking,l like the fact that the host lets you get on with it but always there if you need them but this wasn’t necessary. Will certainly stay here again

Excellent

Booked this last minute for somewhere to stay on New Years Eve with my parents and boyfriend. Absolutely perfect location for where our party was down the road. Beautiful surroundings and the apartment is in a lovely traditional courtyard. 

Special little touches such as the wreath on the door and Christmas tree at the top of the stairs really made it feel special for a festive get away. 

Had every amenity we needed including a table top oven. It had the basic toiletries and even milk, teabags and coffee. Everything had been thought of however little the detail was. 

Thoroughly recommend!
