If you’ve ever wondered what the crash mats from PE at school would be like to sleep on then wonder no more! 
This place could be brilliant but it’s slap dash,dirty and poorly staffed.
Showers are grubby, they cut the grass but don’t collect the clippings so there is grass clippings literally everywhere. 
Mirror in our lodge clearly never cleaned.

We never saw anyone on reception from check in onwards. No Wi-Fi or phone signal

Wave machine always broken. Bike hire always shut. Cleaner clearly AWOL

Pods not secure, doors lock but a massive window at the back that doesn’t lock in place or even close securely and the main doors open from inside without a key

Would I go again? No. Should you go? Possibly if you can get it cheap and don’t expect much (£4 for a coffee in the Hilton next door and no cooking or even kettles on site) but it’s in a great lace and if they would just pull their socks up a bit it could be great



A great concept poorly executed- and dirty

I wish to offer some feedback on my recent stay with you. offering advice that i hope you might find helpful 

The Pod and parking
the pod was Fab, it was clean and very well kempt, however some extra plug sockets would be a great update.

on the site it states no fires or BBQ's.  i do understand the fire risk but how do you expect people to feed themselves when the restaurant is so poor

Parking at the pods was horrendous, there was an event on which is fine, but the car park closest to the to pods was all taken up by the start of the event and other cars, meaning we had to park in the overflow down the road and given we had paid £90 a night i found this unacceptable not to have a designated space.

Cooking in or around the pod?? i found this confusing given that it doesn't actually state this at the time of booking because if i had of known i wouldn't have booked in the first place, given your opening line for the pods is "leave the tent at home on your next trip" i find it hard to believe people would know that they can't cook as this is part of camping charm 

The Restaurant 
well what can i say its fish and chips of some description or a massively overpriced mass production base burnt pizza. My friend also asked for Guinness which we were told you had plenty of by the young polite lad at the bar but because you only had 1 glass he couldn't serve it and this was a management decision.

The lifeguards and park staff were all playing football outside the restaurant, which is unacceptable on its own, but given you had paying customers on the water, I would be assuming that they would have to be watched as a health and safety precaution???

All in all, i won't be returning to Adventure Parcs Snowdonia any time soon

I booked 4 nights/3 days in the week after half term as my children get 2 weeks in June. I made the booking back in April and at the time the website suggested all activities were available.

We arrived late on Sunday after my partner finished work. On trying to check in it became clear that, despite making the booking 2 months ago, we were not expected. Getting up on Monday we found the place practically deserted, everything was closed and none of the activities were available.

We hadn’t pre-booked the activities as we were intending to see how the children slept in the pods. We were told that nothing would be open until Wednesday (the day we were leaving), and that this was due to an employee being off sick (1 employee)

This information was imparted very matter of factly, we were told that at least we had a pod(!) and since we had a car we could go to their competitors for the activities-although they would be more expensive & not as good.

This was obviously nonsense considering that everything was closed. No outdoor activities, no indoor activities, no softplay, no pump track, the bar was closed & the cafe was closed. We had to go to the Hilton next door just to get a hot drink.

As we were leaving this morning, a coach pulled up with a large number of what appeared to be schoolchildren on a residential trip, this was the only time the place appeared open.

Had we been made aware that none of the advertised activities or facilities would be available to us, we would have cancelled. The entire stay was a massive disappointment & being lied too was insulting.

The pod was very nice & it looked like exactly we could’ve had a fantastic time, however I don’t think I’d risk going back and disappointing my children again.

Awful. Save your money & go elsewhere

We spent two nights here. One night in hotel and one night in a pod.  I wished we had just stuck at the hotel.  We had a lagoon view pod, which isn’t in same area as the shower/toilet.  We are are family of 4 (14 & 11 year old) and there was absolutely no room for us.  If we had been able to park our car near the pod that might have not been so bad as could store things in there but you have to park in main car park a couple of minutes away. 
The hotel and rest of the park is great and wouldn’t say we had a bad trip, in fact we have a great trip but wouldn’t choose to stay in a pod again. 

Hotel great, give pods a miss

A fantastic location with superb facilities. High quality staff service throughout - would highly recommend this hotel.

Weekend stay with friends

I recently stayed at Adventure Parc Snowdonia on a 2 day team building event  organised for my senior management team. The hotel is first class, the rooms are very well appointed and the service is excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend it for similar team building events.

Amazing venue for Team Building

I can only reiterate what has already been said here in previous reviews, but for clarity here we go...

The pod itself is almost as basic as it gets. The addition of 2 x 240v plugs is helpful but they are located right under one of the beds so are difficult to get to. We had 2 small children on sleeping bags on the single 'beds' (benches with a thin plastic covered mattress) and they seemed to cope ok. The 'bed' in the end compartment is a thin plastic covered mattress on the floor and is as uncomfortable as f$£k. Seriously, if you have any kind of a bad back or sore shoulders you must take your own blow up bed or something. I sleep on a memory foam mattress normally and sometimes get a bit of back pain every once in a while, normally from DIY, but this left me literally in agony. On the second night I was awake from about 3 am trying to find a comfortable position and got out of bed just to stop the pain at about 0630.

There are absolutely no services available. There is no kitchen area to wash up breakfast bowls and even filling water bottles is difficult from the wash basins in the ablutions. No barbeque area, no nothing. On the plus side, ablutions were clean and well looked after. 

The position of some of the pods is not really 'woodland', more 'shoved behind the car park. If you are lucky then you get one further back in the woods. Since there is no room to do any cooking, you are forced to go to either the Hilton (a short walk across the other side of the lagoon) or drive to a local pub. If you don't bring breakfast stuff with you, expect to be stung for £50 if you are a family of four at the Hilton. Dinner for us (burger, pasta, 2 x kids meals and a couple of drinks) was the thick end of £70. 

The soft play area is good for kids but a 2 hour session is £7 per child. The surf lagoon is great and if you can't get to surf regularly or just want to try it out, I would highly recommend it. Unfortunately, it seems like Elon Musk/Jeff Bezos was the business advisor and they have designed every facet of the park to extract the maximum amount of money from you (even hiring a locker to keep some valuables in costs you money rather that pop a quid in, turn a key, get your quid back at the end). 

The indoor activities seem good (we didn't try them) but for young children under 5 there is very little for them to do other than soft play. The staff were excellent - really helpful, cheerful and engaging. 

My advice would be to get a local hotel or b'n'b, visit for the day and bring your own food. If you do feel the need to stay at a pod, bring mattresses or god help your back in the morning.

Definitely sucks the 'glam' out of 'glamping'...

The pod consisted of a double plastic thin horrible  mattress  on the floor yes on the  floor also 2 single beds with plastic  mattress  very small beds and that was it nothing else at all, our son bought it us as Christmas  present  with the words glamping as he thought and paid for. We go camping  and our tent is a 1000 times better than that I would call it a shed with a bed on the floor on the upside it was very clean of what we saw of it, as we booked  a hotel for the night in llandudno as I could not have slept there at all. Was told before we left we would need bedding so we did take things but so we knew what to expect but that was very unexpected. It says sleeps 4 no way also on the website it said WiFi not to be and the girl on checkout says that needs to be changed I think the whole website needs to be changed concerning  the clamping pods very miss leading. Need a refund 95 pound for what.??

Don't say here book hotel for the same money ...

To be honest the pods were more basic than expected but we still had a great time. There is nothing in the pods expect 3 plastic mattresses, no kettle, no hooks, no cups. However they were very clean and tidy. The mattresses were really comfy and the pods are lovely and warm.  The shower/toilet block was always clean. The light is on a motion sensor in the shower block which meant it turned of several times during a shower, not ideal but wave your arms around like a lunatic and it comes back on 😉
We arrived on a Sunday late afternoon which meant that there was nowhere to get any food or drinks without a 20min drive so definitely bring supplies with you. Local shop and cafe have very limited opening times. If you forget your bedding (we did!) there’s an Asda in Llandudno 😂
Staff were very friendly and helpful, booking, check in and check out were all really easy. 
They say they sleep 4 but it was pretty snug with 2.

More basic than expected but comfy and nice

Shame. Could be  a nice stay but they really have not thought through the hospitality side of things. They have literally erected some very tight 'hutches' (best word for them ... Not really a liveable space / pod) .
Zero amenities in the pod. Be warned ... Because we weren't! Not an issue if a couple but we are a family of four. 

Basically, they have squeezed in the hutches as many as possible and just take your money.

What about some kind of discount in the bar and restaurant for guests to make their terrible pizzas and overpriced bagels more palatable? 

Wave machine was broken but they gave us free paddle boarding and cycle (hence the 2 stars not 1) 

Showers poor. Only 2 toilet cubicles for about 15 pods! No toilet paper on a couple of occasions .

Fill water up from the washrooms. 

Couldn't get a beer until late pm after 5.

Staff are pleasant, young, keen to help but can't really do anything. 

Recommend day trips only and come with a full wallet. It's a rinse. 

DO NOT BOOK THE POD IF YOU WANT TO HAVE A RESTFUL, ACCOMMODATED STAY. 

will definitely not be back. Poor show guys. Stick to your adrenalin sports because you haven't a clue how to do hospitality. 

As I say ... Shame.
