Excellent hosts and nice and comfy beds! Very cheap and one minute walking to the beach. Lovely place. Very clean. For this price I would definitely stay again! A bar across the road and close to restaurants and shops. Would recommend yoko sushi for lunch £9 per person for set meal which was massive and tasty! Shore bar also very nice and good and cheap on the corner with lovely food. Thank you hosts! We will be back!

Value for money

This small hotel is in a good location, one minute walk to the Eastbourne pier. Parking is right outside, on the road, however you will need a parking permit from the hotel, at a small cost of £1 (for a day). My room was quite small, although, as it was just me, it was more than adequate. It had a small en suite shower, basin, toilet, and again, just fine for my overnight stay. The shower was good and no complaints with how I slept. 
It was a shame they don't do breakfast, but that is obviously reflected in the price of the stay.
I would recommend this hotel as a convenient place to stay for one or two nights.

Good visit

We stayed for one night in a room that was small but nice enough and good for what we wanted, which was low cost and GREAT location - one of the closest hotels to the pier. The shower was shared so if you have verucas please bring along those funny sock things. The staff were friendly. My girlfriend found the window difficult to close but being a man I managed easily enough. The kettle didn't work which loses this place a mark, but all in all we had a lovely time there

Decent stay

I arrived in Eastbourne with my parents for a funeral. My parents are elderly and were put on the 3rd floor there was no lift to the property. The receptionist was unhelpful when my parents asked for some help with their cases, telling them that her placenta had fallen out??? So I carried the luggage up the stairs after parking the car. The rooms were dirty with heavily stained carpets, when I asked if there was a room on a lower level. I was just told "No " to say the receptionist was strange was an understatement. The property smelt of smoke and there was people visible from the outside windows smoking. This is advertised as a Hotel but is in fact a Guest House. My parents did not want to make a fuss so we went for dinner. When we came back there was loud music next to my parents room, smashing glasses and an argument in full flow in another room there were people walking around and smoking, this was a Tuesday night! It was just not a place that we could of stayed it was absolutely terrible. we asked the receptionist for a refund as we had not used the facilities and had to find alternative accommodation and after many phone calls and emails to the property where I have spoken to Andrea, Samantha and Mohammed to date we have still not received an apology or my elderly parents refund. Please avoid the hassle and upset my parents have had and don't book this property, It really is quite shocking.

Please dont book, it just leads to a battle to get your money back, It is worse than terrible

My partner and I recently booked a two night stay in this hotel.  We checked in and were given a key to the room and a front door key.  Upon going to our room we noted that the carpet was heavily stained and had seen better days   upon reaching our room, we discovered that the door would not open properly due to the double bed blocking it.  The room was supposedly standard, but was tiny and was in need of a clean.  There was also no bathroom facilities and we realised that the toilets we had passed on the floor below were shared by the rooms on that floor and our own.  This was not made clear to us by the man on reception.  We were not happy with the overall state of the hotel and checked back out later that day, leaving the key with a very disinterested member of staff.  There are also no breakfast facilities.  We did not feel comfortable or indeed safe at this hotel,and if was definitely not suitable for a romantic weekend away.  Will not be back.

Weekend away

Booked a room at this place seeb through booking .com for one night as wanted to see 2 days of the airborne show! Rang direct to book and so glad I did because it was £60 cheaper than booking .com! Arrived early, room not ready, reception chap pleasant but that's as far as 'pleasant' stretched! Hotel very dated, tired, basically needs a total redecoration! Paid for room, went back at 12.30 to get keys, went to room, opened door entered room and nearly walked back out again, only reason stayed was no other hotel rooms available due to airborne show! Double room with ensuite £160 booking .com, I paid £100 direct, but honestly it was so dated and run down it should be about £60 and that's generous! So many faults and basically absolutely no attention to detail used! Hairs on bedsheets, the ensuite was horrible! If this hotel/ room featured on 'four in a bed' I wouldn't even pay £60! Breakfast wasn't offered although only continental! My partner and I never set foot in the shower, it was disgusting, the cubicle was filthy with mould, stairs, broken parts, toilet disgusting! Bed lumpy! The only up to date item was the TV on the wall! I  took photos to upload hopefully to let you see what I mean about the room etc!
