A lovely stay and warm, friendly welcome! We stayed in a very comfortable room with a terrace facing the sea...and would heartily recommend Seaview Sanctuary. The sea-front position is great and Eastbourne town centre is in walking distance.

A lovely stay and warm welcome

This was our second stay at Seaview and it did not disappoint in any way whatsoever. The owners, Richard and Katie are such a lovely couple (Katie makes the most fabulous cakes every day which are complimentary together with hot drinks).

We were on a two night stay and were in one of the garden view rooms which was very comfortable. For our second night they very kindly offered us one of their sea view rooms which had become vacant. A fabulous large room with a balcony, beautiful. All the bedding and towels are of a high quality and the rooms are nicely decorated . Bathrooms had complimentary hand soap, shower gel and conditioner too.

Fabulous guest house

Great guest house. Friendly hosts. Superb room, very clean, lovely fluffy duvet and large fluffy towels.  Great views from our room 9 with the use of the veranda. The cakes were a lovely added bonus.

Rich and Katie run an excellent guest house. We stayed in room 9 which over looks the pavillion.
Our room was spacious with lots of power points, television,wifi, mini fridge, hair dryer, biniculors, external speaker, kettle, and plenty of tea, coffee and biscuits.
Bathroom has a powerful power shower.
Every afternoon there are a wonderful selection of cakes which are free.
There is a very reasonably priced breakfast box available.
The pier is a short distance away with lots of local shops close by.
We thoroughly recommend the Seaview Sanctuary, and we look forward to returning.

Short break away in Eastbourne

We stayed here for a couple of nights. Our room was clean and nicely decorated with a fantastic balcony with sea view. It didn't have an ensuite but had allocated shower/toilet exclusively for the room just outside. We didn't find it a problem at all. Dressing gowns and slippers were provided too. Good choice of tea and coffee with lovely biscuits. The hosts were super friendly and helpful. Lovely afternoon cakes, freshly made by the host. We found parking easily and it's just a short walk into the town and pier. Would definitely stay again

Lovely guest house and hosts

My mother and I have just stayed with Katie and Richard at Seaview for a week.  We were made to feel so welcome, super friendly ( especially Katie's  homemade cakes that she leaves for guests!) Our room was ensuite with a four poster bed, and a small balcony with a lovely sea view. We will definitely come back!

We stayed a night here on 1st April 2022 in the king suite with sea view.  It was beautiful!  The room and the views, just stunning!  The location was perfect and within walking distance to most places.  The hosts were lovely.  The breakfast in the morning was outstanding as was the service.  The cleanliness was second to none as well.  Thank you for such a lovely stay, we didn’t want to leave.  We will be returning…

Excellent service very friendly, catered for all our needs, very clean tidy, rooms were amazing with everything we needed, great attention to detail throughout, comfortable best nights sleep, and front conservatory with afternoon tea and the best choc brownie iv ever tasted, breakfast in the morning with balcony and amazing sea views will definitely come stay again loved every min

Sea view sanctuary Eastbourne

We stayed here at the Seaview for three nights and it’s been perfect. Laura and Danny are very welcoming and can’t do enough for you, our room with onsuite was clean and comfortable with plenty of tea and coffee and very nice biscuits. The breakfast every day could not be faulted it was cooked fresh for you  and was delicious. The location of this lovely guest house is perfect as well either for a walk to the marina or into town we would definitely recommend and would chose to stay here again should we need to be in Eastbourne again. Thank you guys

Definitely Recommend

The sea view is a lovely little guesthouse right on the seafront. I was lucky enough to have a room with a very good sea view. The rooms are well decorated, clean, and just what you need for a weekend stopover.  The proprietor met us at that front desk and was very welcoming.
