Stayed here for a Saturday night while in Edinburgh on business.
28 people wanted a drink in the bar at 10pm and called them in the afternoon to say we were coming.
Th bar was closed on a Saturday night by 10pm.
Not god enough… sort it out premier inn.

Clean rooms, excellent service from front of house nice restaurant delicious breakfast good deal on evening meal and breakfast you know what your getting worth every penny lovely relaxing stay and not far to airport parking a bit tight on times

Great place nice and relaxed

The baby cot was not fit for purpose. The 'mattress' was nothing more than a board. When checking out the receptionist proceeded to tell us most people choose to take their own travel cot and best course of action would be to contact head office.  A disgrace, I will never stay in a Premier Inn again.

Not good

This hotel is sub standard to most Premier Inns I have stayed in over a number of years,  lacking customer appeal in a number of areas. The exterior,  and to be fair it is shared with other outlets , is not kept in a very tidy manner, and does not give a very good impression of what is to come. The entrance to our room is shared by the entrance to the restaurant and is grubby and in need of a clean and upgrade. Our room had a very dirty shower with black grime on the shower door track, grubby tile grout, and a hygienically unclean toilet seat. There was damage to one of the room walls, a very stained easy chair in the room, and both bins although emptied out had themselves not been cleaned for some time. We ate in the restaurant on our first night - the staff were run off their feet with one person dealing with drinks, food orders, and attending to guests as they arrived. A  refurb is required to make this a welcoming space, along with producing some better food. The 2 girls working the restaurant were very good and as efficient as they could be under the circumstances. Having spent 3 days the previous week at Premier Inn in Keswick which provided a first class environment to stay in South Queensferry was a very big let down and prompted my first official complaint to Premier Inn. NOT GOOD !

I don't expect luxury from the PI but I do expect cleanliness and helpful staff. Our room was not clean at all. Staff, mainly in the adjacent restaurant, were slow and unattentive. Also our keycards never worked so we constantly had to queue at reception to get them reset- seemed to be a common problem with other guests too. Also toilet seat only half screwed on to toilet and extractor fan in bathroom not working. Disappointing as normally PI can do these basics right.

Disappointing

Unfortunately upon arrival the 1st floor room offered had dried on old sweat/urine? stain on middle of bed's mattress cover/ protector. After complaining to receptionist was then offered another 1st floor room on its own, right at end of corridor close to stairwell. This room's bed had a few disgusting old dark red blood stains on left side of mattress protector. This was also unacceptable! When asked at reception for replacement mattress protector was told none were available and that all they could do would be to throw another sheet over it - assuming that unsuspecting customers wouldn't notice. She also said that as new beds had been ordered for throughout the hotel there wasn't much point in replacing to new sheets, even although these protectors should have been binned or at least properly bleached/boil washed as soon as these stains appeared. Third time lucky with room on 2nd floor, bed clean and comfy, however the fan in room was caked in dust & carpet grubby. Apart from that I was pleased to note spotless bathroom, with great shower, clean towels & plenty of hot water. Evening meal in adjoining Brewer's Fayre was excellent, good choices on menu and well presented. Also good view of Forth Road Bridge from 2nd Floor room.

Disappointing, not all quite up to usually expected Premier Inn room standard. Needs more TLC.

The Premier Inn South Queensferry has comfortable, roomy accommodation with a restaurant on site and easily accessible from Edinburgh airport and right beside the Forth bridges for travel north. It has free parking onsite and a large Tesco nearby.

Despite the excellent staff, the place felt jaded and the room was tired and fusty. Like a few Premier Inns, they seem to have lost their quality control and the staff are battling with key systems which don't work etc

Bathroom in pieces. Shower head falling off. Heating not working. After a 7 hour drive last thing I wanted to do was start complaining to staff so yeah. Really upset about the cost for what I got. Won’t stay again 

Room falling apart

We have stayed in this hotel several times & we have always been very happy with the friendliness of the staff, the food & the location is perfect for our plans on visiting other places by train. The hotel does need some TLC spent on it but this did not spoil our short break. We have already booked a return visit in December!
