We have just arrived home from a one night stay in this lovely B and B and I can honestly say it is one of the nicest we have stayed in. Room were beautiful and immaculately clean, breakfast was superb.  Mirella and her father were two of the nicest people we have met and nothing was too much trouble for them.i would 100% recommend this B and B

Fantastic little B andB

We stayed at Bonnies recently for two nights over the weekend.  Only a 10 minute walk from Edinburgh Waverley and in a good location for accessing the main tourist areas. There are good coffee shops and pubs in the immediate vicinity, along with a Tesco and Coop on the doorstep. 
When we arrived we have a lovely greeting from Mirella who was a lovely host. She explained everything in depth, and we were allocated room 2 at the front of the guest house. A nice compact room with en suite shower room. Little extra such as small fridge, bottled water and sweets. There was also a hairdryer and even a hot water bottle, along with tea and coffee.  Mirella was very attentive throughout our stay, and even offered us umbrellas as it was raining. 
Our breakfasts on both days were great. Mirella couldn’t do enough for you. We had juice, toast, coffee and a full Scottish breakfast. We were also offered a fruit salad. Compliments to the chef. 
The only negative to the stay is that as we had the room at the front of the property, it could be quite noisy as there is a garage directly opposite and deliveries at the coop early in the day. Also, there appears to be some form of student accommodation over the road, and on Saturday night they had a loud party that went only for a number of hours. This is no fault of the guest house, and if you are not in room 2, I suspect you wouldn’t even hear it. However. If you are, I would possibly advise some ear plugs to help. It would not stop me staying again. Good price and good location and lovely host. Thank you.

Good value stay

Lovely traditional Bed & Breakfast in great location for touring Edinburgh on foot, with large, comfortable room, great breakfast with plenty of options, and charming hostess Mirella. I'd thoroughly recommend it.

Great B&B

A very warm, friendly environment, which made me feel at home.I enjoyed a very tasteful , home made breakfast, I enjoyed the near by area and restaurants.Within very easy reach to Princess street etc.I would stay there again undoubtedly.My host, Mirella was amazing!

Warm atmosphere great location

The room was very nice with added extras to make it homely. Host a little abrupt but pleasant enough. Found 2 human hairs in my breakfast but handled appropriately with a refund. I would recommend to stay but not for eating.

Lovely room, great location

We enjoyed staying at Bonnie's Guesthouse! Our large, blue room was superb! The Scottish breakfast very good. And our hostess, she enjoys making you feel at home, right from the start when you step in.

Bonnie's Guesthouse: the place to be!

Mirella was a very friendly and accommodating host. Nothing was too much trouble. We stayed in a newly decorated room which was very cosy with little thoughtful touches such as chocolates and hot water bottles. The breakfast was yummy and very flexible as we were the only guests staying at the time we confirmed what we wanted the day before and what time we wanted breakfast. The location was great close to the playhouse theatre and about a 10min walk into the city centre.  
Thank you for a lovely stay and for hosting us last minute due to a hiccup with a close by B&B who couldn’t accommodate us due to refurbishment.

Lovely stay

What a fantastic, homely and welcoming little B&B. Mirella was a fabulous host, lovely and chatty and couldn't be more helpful. The room was recently decorated, absolutely spotless and lovely and warm. Lots of little nice wee touches in the room too. The location was perfect for the City which was just 10 mins up Leith Walk and past the Playhouse towards Princes Street. There was very little noise if any so a good sleep was no problem. Mirella's breakfast was to die for. Everything freshly cooked, lovey and warm. I implore you to go for the full Scottish.... The Haggis was probably one of the best I've tasted and Mirella told me a little secret about it which I'm going to keep to myself....... you'll just have to book a stay and try it for yourself.

All in all, a great overnight stay for a theatre break. Location was perfect. (parking can be got in the lane directly across from the guest house). 

If we're ever back in Edinburgh, is definitely look to see if Mirella has any rooms. Highly recommend. 

Home from Home

Another warm welcome from Mirella. We had the same room as last time but it has since been redecorated & updated. Still has the little touches that make it seem homely like fridge, heater, kettle etc. We were very glad of the heater as we got soaked thanks to storm Ciara & the heater helped in drying off. As last time the breakfast is very substantial - fruit juice, fruit & yougurt & cooked breakfast with tea and toast. My husband has a food allergy & must only eat gluten free food. As before Mirella went out of her way to get gluten free sausages & food that he could eat. Thanks again for all your effort Mirella.

Another lovely stay

Bonnies Guesthouse was like a home for home nice extras like hot water bottle which we did not need as room lovely and warm small fridge to put your champagne  in complimentary sweets could go on and on best thing book it and see oh and the breakfast  5 stars will be back
