Myself and partner stayed in one of villas for his 40th. It was amazing. 10/10 . We done the spa trial first . Floation was class and it was very relaxing in general. We then got to check in early and blown away by the detail. My partner is coeliac and the food was unreal and they thought of everything. We had wine left out for us for his birthday. We then went to the bar for light snack before whisky tasting which I highly recommend or you will be very drunk. Lovely music in bar and very chilled. We then did the whisky tasting and was very funny heading to dinner after. Dinner was amazing and he was well looked after with coeliac menu. Lovely vibe in restaurant. The beds were so comfortable and the sitting room. I wanted to stay for longer. If staying in villa I think do two days . We had honestly the best time and will be back. Lovely staff, good , vibe 10/10❤️

We stayed in december. We were a little hesitant on what we were trying but the staff over the phone helped us through each aspect of our trip and were so helpful. Finn Lough really exceeded our expectations with every detail.  Everything that was discussed on the phone sounded magical. The photos look incredible but they do not do this incredible place justice. 

We started our journey at about midday and had a quick soup in the coziest restaurant, then went through to the elements spa, before check-in, which we loved that it didn't take away from our time in the bubble dome.  We checked in where one of our beautiful friends had organised a bottle of Champagne which was waiting for us in the dome. We lay in bed and watched the sky changing colors sipping champagne. We had a whiskey tasting in a small whiskey room, and the man who gave the tour was one of  akind, so knowledgeable and energetic. Then we went to the barn which was a different restaurant, where we had heard great reviews but being a vegetarian I was expecting a mushroom risotto, how wrong I was. We ate like royalty. I was not expecting the food we were served in the middle of nowhere. Sleeping in the bubble, i was a bit apprehensive about sleeping in the forest in the middle of winter, while we started walking home it started raining. We were drenched by the time we got to our bubble, but we had a hot bath in the bubble in the rain and had the best sleep I have ever had.

We are so Impressed at our last stay in Finn Lough Hideaway. We arrived before check-in time and the room wasn’t ready so we waited in the reception area with a glass of bubbly for before being taken to our villa! The restaurant we were early again, and they seated us in a lovely cozy room with a fire pit and we had the Turkish delight cocktail which made us feel as though we fell into Narnia in the forest and cold eating turkish delight. This was so beautiful then we had dinner OH MY GOODNESS ,WOW! I never would have thought that mushrooms on toast would change my life. I am still dreaming about the meal we had there. We stayed in the Villa, which was so cozy. I brought my book and actually took it out the bag to read while I finally took a break from my chaotic life with the fire going. Thank you for all the little extras on the stay. Although it was the first week in January when we stayed we can not wait to come through again in the summertime. We are booked for July and counting down the days. I had the front of house help me with my booking in person and I can not thank them enough for guiding me through what the resort will be in the summertime I can't wait to read my book and sip a cocktail on the edge in the water in July, and maybe try a swim.

We cant wait to come Back!!!

We were running so late for check in, we turned down the wrong road and you guessed it.......we got stuck. We were so late that we arrived in the dark, there was a guy at reception who took us and our bags to the bubble. Thankfully we were able to be taken in the restaurant having missed our original booking and it was amazing. Then we went and watched a movie in the wee cinema.  It was lovely and the bath in our bubble was very much appreciated to finish off the day with some r+r.

Amazing

I’ve been meaning to write this review for a while. Finn Lough had been on my bucket list for a while and it didn’t disappoint. I travelled solo as was working in the area so decided to take advantage and book one of the Forest Bubbles. I LOVED it! The experience was beautiful sleeping under the night sky and had the best night sleep in a long time. 
Beautiful heated cozy bed and the cute basket of breakfast was delivered in the morning. 
The staff were amazing and  made me feel so comfortable especially as I was travelling alone. I was too late to book the Elements Spa experience but managed to book into the Lake side Sauna and hot tub. I had the place to myself and was in heaven!! 
The restaurant was lovely and the food exceptional. 
My only small niggle thing would be that in  the restaurant, I felt a little intimidated being alone with the only table for one put right in the middle of the restaurant, so felt a little weird 😅
I will defiantly be back however and have raved about it to everyone 🙏👏

Excellent experience, can’t wait to go back!

From the moment we arrived, the experience was just 10/10. The bubble domes are out of this world, the scenery is breath taking, and the food in the restaurant in the evening is some of the best that myself and my girlfriend have ever had (particularly the steak). We went to the spa the following day and rented bikes which made it even better, a unique stay and couldn't recommend it enough to anyone

Absolutely outstanding

I attended FinnLough with my partner for his birthday at the start of March. 
We booked a SkySuite, Spa Trail, Gin tasting and Dinner in ‘The Barn’ restaraunt. 
The whole experience was great. The staff at FinnLough were extremely welcoming and helpful. The SpaTrail was fantastic. For the whole duration you felt relaxed and a great part of it was that you didn’t bump into others during it (where I’ve heard other venues the spa venues are crowded). It was very relaxing.
The gin tasting was very enjoyable and a great thing to do in the evening before dinner.
The dinner in the barn was lovely however slightly on the more expensive side. 

The morning breakfast brought to the room was lovely and we were able to enjoy free coffee and pasty later that morning too. 

Something I was very pleased about was as a gay couple it was a place where we felt very welcome. 

A perfect relaxing weekend 

Stayed here back in early February. Loved the Spa. Hotel was clean and comfortable.
However it could do with some TLC around the interior and exterior. Especially with the bad lighting and dead flowers and fauna. 
The old breakfast room was closed, and breakfast delivered to your room in a picnic basket,
 reminiscent of the lockdown era that seems not  to have been consigned to the past. We were given a time for Breakfast to arrive which was  between 9 and 10am! It arrived at 9.58am., with no coffee or tea! There was no one about to ask for a coffee pod or a Tea bag! It was lacklustre to say the least. Dinner was fanciful. Though I'm not really a fan of the small plates.  The food was a  little too rich for my liking. Staff were attentive and service was good. 


Weekend at Bernies 

Everything about Finnlough is amazing, the staff, the environment and the food. We stayed one night had an amazing dinner, breakfast and lunch. The elements spa is truly a game changer doing if for the first time was super exciting but most of all relaxing. Will definitely be yearly visit for us. 

Amazing all round

We had a really nice stay in Finn Lough, it lived up to our high expectations! We arrived on a crisp clear day, so the spa was a highlight. We also really enjoyed the restaurant, the staff were welcoming and helpful in their food recommendations. The bubble dome was a lovely experience, everything felt quite private despite the clear ceiling, and it was nice and warm on a cold night.
