Just checked in and wow what an amazing quaint little place 😍 everything needed for a little mini break. The owner came out to welcome us which was a lovely touch. Stayed in woodcut cottage (3). Would definitely recommend!!! Xxx

Friends mini break

We had a really enjoyable short stay in one of the cottages earlier this month.  Cottage was really comfortable and clean, had everything we needed and well laid out.  Plenty of parking near the cottage.  Wi-Fi was very good and reliable.  Beds were comfortable and nice to relax in a warm bath after a day out in the open air!  Lovely peaceful location although only a short drive from Evesham and Stratford upon Avon and also the lovely Cotswold towns like Bourton on the Water and Stow on the Wold.   There was a Co Op within walking distance and although we didn't try either, there was also a fish and chip shop and a Chinese take away nearby too.  We would definitely recommend the cottages as a lovely place to stay.

Lovely property!

We booked two cottages for three nights over Christmas and had an amazing time. The cottages were clean, warm, well equipped and Fiona went above and beyond to decorate them for Christmas for us! 
Tips would be to hire a car so that you can easily get groceries/sightsee etc and to remember to turn the hot water on as per instructions given by host! 
Fiona was very helpful and a great host. 

Amazing Cotswolds Christmas 

I have just spent 5 nights in one of the smaller cottages and found it very clean, cosy and it contained all that I needed for a short break with my dog.  I was also pleased with the parking facilities which are on site and so no worries about leaving the car on the highway.  I am just sorry that the owner has now decided on a 'no pet' policy as I would love to book there again.

Lovely cottage in peaceful surroundings

We took our family to visit Bourton on the Hill following the death of my elderly mother who had grown up there.We stayed at nearby Peace Haven as we needed three units.It was perfect.Each unit had full facilities with a treat to share in our unit.All were clean tidy and well kitted out.We were able to use the area outside our unit to all get together for a meal and the younger children to play.Although a little expensive it me our needs and we hope to visit again some time.

The real Cotswolds

We rented almost all the properties for  a family birthday celebration  had a fantastic stay very peaceful and comfortable properties, we walked to the wild things animal park and had a great day out ( took about 7 mins) there is a communal room with toys games and a great dvd selection  it was a little chilly bur hey it’s January. Had a great family weekend

Birthday Celebration

I found the accommodation in no.4 very comfortable, nice to have milk on arrival. Wifi worked fine, handy having field for quick dog walk.Coop close by. Only slight niggle was noisey slabs outside no.3 everytime someone walked over them.

Short Stay

As the title suggests, this was a short stop over on the way to a wedding to break the journey for our 6 month child whom had never spent more than 30 mins in a car seat.
The 1.5 hrs was half way to the wedding and the place seemed lovely on the sites and in a great location.
The room was nice, roomy, double and single room and comfortable and clean...mostly.
You see, when you pay good money for a service, it's when something needs sorting that you find the real value and customer service.
On that note I must say we were extremely disappointed , on arrival (Wednesday afternoon, no special holiday or anything) we had no hot water, it was switched on but nothing...we managed that night as the time quickly passed, so thought we would sort it next day... Aha! Called Fiona, no answer, voicemail...left a message to explain we had no water, baby, and please fix it. 2 hours later I received a message to say that the thermostat must of failed again...a known issue, and they couldn't get anyone out before the weekend! 
Great...3 days with no hot water, struggling to look after our baby and just a message to say sorry, can't fix it.
NOT GOOD ENOUGH! 
Won't be coming here again, advise against it as also noisy with the railway line running alongside and a lot of traffic passing.

Baby's first trip

I reviewed the online website for the dates I wanted and requested to pay a deposit followed by the payments. The price for early August was approx £255 for 3 nights. I emailed Fiona regarding the dates to which she advised me that the price for £330 for the same dates and cottage. I sent a screenshot to which i was promised to have the dates and price reviewed when she returned to the office approx 2 weeks ago. This was several weeks ago now and still no response. Initial poor experience. Provided feedback, no response.  We have been here before and it was great. Don’t know what has happened since. Will not be booking here again - plenty more beautiful cottages out there so will take our business elsewhere.
